{Bobby, dressed in his ring attire, angrily paces back and forth in the locker room area as his friend Perry looks on with concern.}
PERRY: "Bobby, you can't keep beating yourself up over last week's match. You've got to move on. It's just one loss."
BOBBY: "It's not one loss, Perry! From the moment I met you I've done nothing but lose. I've lost matches, I've lost the World Title, I've lost my friends, I've lost my fans. You've brought me nothing but bad luck!"
PERRY: "Is that what you think, Bobby? I think it's time for you to take a look in the mirror! If your life and career are falling apart it's because you don't have the drive anymore. You don't have the discipline. You don't have the heart!"
BOBBY: "You're questioning my heart? You don't know the meaning of heart! I came from nothing to win the most prestigious title in this sport, the WCF World Title. I did it without complaining and without depending on anyone else. I earned it through my own hard work. So don't you ever question my heart!"
PERRY: "If it's not your heart, Bobby, then maybe your tank is empty. Maybe you just don't have anything left. Maybe you're burned out at 23 years old!"
BOBBY: "If I'm burned out, then what the hell are you? You think hooking me up with some cheap Puerto Rican sluts makes you the man? Is that what you think, Perry?"
PERRY: "You can criticize me all you want, Bobby. I'm not the one pacing back and forth trying to figure out where everything went wrong."
BOBBY: "That's right, because you wouldn't know what it's like to fail or succeed. You've never tried to accomplish anything for yourself! You're a leech, a lackey."
{Perry turns silent and begins staring at the ground. After a few moments he musters up his courage and confronts Bobby.}
PERRY: "It's time for the lackey to become a leader!"
BOBBY: "You want to lead me? You're kidding, right?"
PERRY: "Why not? You need someone to help with your training and match strategy. I could be your manager."
BOBBY: "That's a fantastic idea. The only problem is you're completely unqualified!"
PERRY: "You're wrong, Bobby. I've been watching tape of Joeylights and I've made some notes on him. If we go over the tape together, I think it could help you in your match tomorrow night."
{Bobby is surprised by Perry's offer, which he takes a moment to consider before responding.}
BOBBY: "Fine. I'll look at the tape with you, but that's it. If you want to be my manager, you have to prove your worth."
PERRY: "I will, Bobby. I give you my word."
BOBBY: "I have a sparring session right now, but we can take a look at that video afterwards. Ok?"
PERRY: "Ok, that sounds good. Good luck out there."
{Perry extends his hand, offering a handshake to Bobby which Bobby accepts.}
BOBBY: "Thanks."
{Bobby turns and walks away. As he exits the locker room he's approached by EWR creator Adam Ryland.}
ADAM: "Shine ya shoes, guvnah?"
BOBBY: "No thanks, Adam. I'm on my way to a sparring session."
ADAM: "Blimey!"
{Bobby walks away.}
