*A scene of a house is shown in Colorado Springs as the house is shown inside and Eric Price is sitting at a desk in an office of the house simply looking straight ahead with a blank stare on his face, no emotion or real expression shown on his face as he seems to be rather pensive at the moment…*
Eric: It wasn’t supposed to happen like this you know. It wasn’t supposed to end the way that it did. Ever since last Monday at Explosion, after I got pinned for the 1 – 2 – 3 in Mexico City, as pissed as I was. Later that night, I simply grabbed my things, got in my car and flew out to Colorado Springs where I keep a house and I knew our next show would be. I’ve been sitting here for about one week in seclusion still trying to understand what happened and why it did happen the way that it did.
What’s even sadder about this whole debacle was that Jason Kash warned me, I saw the loss coming yet I did nothing to neither prevent it nor stop it. And that was my mistake for I underestimated the man and was overconfident. As much as I deserved the chance and I did, I also went into it headstrong and didn’t really analyze the match and understand exactly what I was getting into.
I could sit here and say it was a fluke that he won but it wasn’t, it was simply a result of poor planning. This week, I’ve been booked in a battle royal involving many of the WCF Superstars for a shot at the World Title. As much as I deserve to have that World Title around my waist, we need to plan properly. The World Elite was started with one goal in mind, to take over and so far we haven’t done that. That’s not to say that it’s too late or that we can’t do it because there’s always tomorrow and I know you’re watching this but we need to start showing why this group is powerful otherwise, there is no point to us continuing.
I’m very happy to be back on American soil however because that horrible smog in Mexico was definitely affecting my coordination but will tonight be the night I win a World Title shot? I’ll say it like this and keep it brief, the World Title needs to come to us to demonstrate our power; we need to work together as a unit to ensure our maximum success and I certainly hope we will win this shot but if we do not, after tonight, we need to have a serious discussion about where we are going with this.
I have nothing more to say except good luck and I’ll see you at the show tonight in a few hours.
*The scene fades to black*
OOC: Sorry for the short promo but I did not want to no show. Been very busy this last week and had no internet or computer access for most of the week.
