Pulse Has His Own PSA
People could tell the difference between a drunk and a homicidal maniac. One's blinded with poisonous substances while the other has his mind filled with rage and hatred.
They both have one thing in common: An insanity streak.
But if I learned about what the real problem is with society, it would be drunk pieces of shit.
I know this stuff...
...because one of my uncles died in a car accident...
...involving a drunk driver.
Day: Saturday
Date: 3rd April 2011
Time: 11:40 PM
Location: Some neighborhood.
Pulse II is walking pass by a couple of houses in a quiet, average neighborhood. He doesn't look very happy.
Pulse II: Houses, why do you need them? We're all gonna die sooner or later.
Suddenly, he hears some screaming and shouting coming from a worn-out house.
Man: Get your ass back here, bitch!
Woman: Stop it, Josh! Aaaaah!!!!
Pulse II raises an eyebrow. He goes to another house and knocks on the door. The door is opened and an old man comes out.
Old Man: Hello? Who are you?
Pulse II: I'm just a passerby. Can I just ask you something about that house?
He points at the crack house. The old man's eyes pop out wide open.
Old Man: Come inside.
Pulse enters the house. The old man brings him to the living room and offers him a seat.
Pulse II: Thanks.
The old man takes another seat.
Old Man: What do want to know about the house?
Pulse II: I just need to know who lives there.
Old Man: Josh and Aiden Marcus. An engaged couple. They're gonna get married in 2 days time.
Pulse II: Is this Aiden girl beautiful?
Old Man: See for yourself.
He gives Pulse a picture of Aiden Marcus. Pulse's eyes pop out.
Pulse II: An angel...
Old Man: It's just too bad she's with Josh.
Pulse II: You jealous that you're too old for her?
Old Man: Naw. I used to have this woman in my life. Gotten married and has 2 kids.
Pulse II: What happened?
Old Man: We divorced. But I still see her and my kids often.
Pulse II: You must be a good patriarch.
Old Man: God bless you, son.
Screaming can be heard from the crack house again.
Pulse II: Why is it unfortunate that Aiden's engaged with Josh?
Old Man: Whenever Josh comes back home at late night, he starts physically abusing her.
Pulse II: Ahhh...the old wife beater shit, right?
Old Man: No way, Jose! The truth is...
The old man goes to Pulse's ear and whispers.
Old Man:...he's a sadistic drunk.
Pulse's eyes suddenly pop out. Next thing, he gets up and goes out of the house.
Old Man: Where are you going?!
Pulse goes straight towards the crack house. He tries to open the door, but is locked. He finds a window and smashes it with his elbow. He opens the window from inside and enters through. He enters the kitchen and sees a scruffy man beating up a blonde woman. Suddenly, Josh sees him.
Josh Marcus: Who the fuck are ya, entering a house uninvited!?
Pulse II: I don't need an invitation.
He walks to Josh and knocks him out with a powerful punch.
Pulse II: I'm VIP.
Pulse sees Aiden, all bruised up and battered. Even though her face is beaten up badly, she is still beautiful.
Pulse II: You okay?
Aiden Marcus: Yeah, I'm fine.
Aiden hugs him.
Aiden Marcus: Save me....
Pulse II: Sure, I will. You call the police while I make sure the drunk bitch doesn't get up.
Pulse helps Aiden up and she goes to the nearest phone. He looks at the unconscious Josh. 20 minutes later, the police arrive and arrest Josh. The medics take Aiden to heal her injuries. Pulse looks at her with a straight face. Aiden looks at Pulse with a smile. Seconds later, she passes out. Pulse walks away and goes back to the old man's house.
Pulse II: Do you know what's Aiden's phone number?
Old Man: If you really need it, then sure.
The old man grabs a small piece of paper and writes down the number. He gives it to Pulse.
Pulse II: Thanks.
Pulse II leaves the neighborhood.
