The scene opens with a hawks eye view of a plain with forests surrounding the plains of grass that goes on for miles. The camera keeps moving like a hawk through the land of Indiana showing the forests wheat and corn fields. They stretch for tons of miles and miles through the beautiful lands. The camera continues to find a cemetery.
The black metal fences surround the gravestones of many people that has either passed or died with their brothers in arms. The big black opening from the gate has the name of the huge cemetery, the gate shows the name of the cemetery which is, “Willow Cemetery.”
The camera then swoops through the cemetery it stops right behind a man wearing a black tuxedo and a black pair of dress shoes and pants. The man has a rose in his chest pocket of his tuxedo. He puts down a pair of flowers on three grave stones. He then gets down on his knees and begins to put his hands together and crosses his fingers. He begins to pray in front of the gravestones before turning around and beginning to speak in front of the camera.
Donald Deruty: Hello, today is a very drull day for me and my family. Today was the day that we received the letter leting us know that my two brothers Donnie, Thomas, and my father Jack was murdered during the war.
Donald Deruty: Today was also the day that my brother Donnie was born. I was very tight with my good brother Donnie. He and I was like the two kids that nobody wanted to mess with, and we had a history of proving that. He was the one that told me just before he was sent away from us, he told me that I should always think about the good life that we could have had. He told me that he needed to make a living that didn't involve hurting or even going to much to killing. I will never forget those words that came out of his mouth. Those words showed me the true man inside of my brother.
Donald Deruty: My other brother Paul, was the youngest besides me. He just made the draft date, he always barely made dates but this was a good one not to get into. The army just saw that we had three men that could and was willing do fight for their country. Paul was the shy one of our family. He was always the one to be very cautious about someone. My older brother Donnie would worry about him, he always thought that he would get very hurt and injured from a bully or any punk on the street.
Donald Deruty: And finally my dearly beloved father, Jack. He was a very tough man to be around he was very strict and a hard ass as you may say. He always wanted to go into war I dont know why the hell why, but he always got a thrill from it. He knew all about weapons and strategies. I guess that didn't come in handy this time around. I mean I loved my father but, he could be a pain in the ass. I know my mother would not like me saying that but hey what people do to protect a discipline their children.
Donald Deruty: I have been alone for more than half of my life, I have never gaven up in the past and I never will I will go to Slam ready to claim a victory before I leave the WCF for a week before my US title match at Ultimate Showdown. I am on a winning streak that nobody acts like was possible for me. Well I have got something to tell you. I have done it. It is possible. People also believe that I can't win the US title. People believe that the only reason I won against Karl Voronov is because my partner Marcus Moneybanks interfered. Now I have to say that I have heard many excuses before, but Malachi you have the worst one yet. You are disrespecting the men who fought for your fucking freedom. If it wasn't for them then you wouldn't be the so called “Murders Row”. You discus me men have fought for this country for years.
Donald Deruty: People have been though hell over in distant countries, and if you have been through it then you would know how heart wrenching it would be to try and forget that very day that you heard or opened the door for the lieutenant to ring your door bell as you answer it, or how you have gotten a letter saying that they give you their prayers and everything will be ok. Well those prayers don't help shit. They dont put food on the table they don't work full time just to keep out of debt. Those thoughts that he gives you don't do any of that shit.
D-Day continues to walk through the cemetery and then stops at a gravestone not far away from the past one of D-Day's two brothers and only father. He looks at the headstone and begins to talk about the person buried right under the standing D-Day.
Donald Deruty: This gravestone is the gravestone of a very brave man right here buried in this wonderful land called Indiana the miles and miles of wheat, corn, and much more necessaries to life. This man is the man that was my father savior. This man was by his side every inch of his life. From where he was born to the very moment he died in that terrible take over of that very death camp that they kept my brothers and father in. He was the one take his first breath and his last. This man is indeed my grandfather he was fairly young when him and his wife had him. And it kept in the family. I dont know if that is a thing to be proud of or not, but since I am the final Deruty living in my generation and the past I have ti ruin the very unusual inheritance.
D-Day continues to walk down the cemetery and stops at a very nice gravestone that is very cheep he then turns to it and puts the third and final pair of roses on this very headstone. He then turns around once again and begins to speak of this very woman laying just under the feet of D-Days dress shoes.
Donald Deruty: This woman that I am standing over at this very moment is my very beautiful and caring mother, who tried to break me out of my shell which was my room at the time we received the dreadful letter. She worked at an office as an assistant, she tried to keep everything just how it was plenty of food for us and all that we could ask for like shoes on our feet and a roof over our head. She could keep everything fine until I was about just to enter high school, then she couldn't pay the bills or anything and I believed that I would do fine on my own. I figured I would like her to live a very nice life then let us both be miserable and slowly lose all that we would have.
D-Day: That is the story of Donald Deruty, now this is the story of D-Day the WCF #1 contender for the US title. I found the WCF and learned that I was bron to be in the business of professional wrestling. I joined the WCF for many reasons. I joined the WCF in search of the real me and to earn a good living not to hurt or kill people like I did before I joined the beloved WCF.
D-Day then walks through the cemetery to the entrance and shuts the gates of the dark and black cemetery. The white clouds that use to be in the clear blue sky move through and begins to be covered with the darkest clouds in the sky. The sky then turns a dark greenish color. Drops fall from the sky followed by thousands of rain drops dropping per second. D-Day drops his head before raising it up to speak to the camera.
D-Day: Malachi, I have been speaking about all these people who have passed in the world and have gone to the better place. Now you claim that you are the Murder's Row? Correct? Now the people who you say you sent to the grave have all gone to a even worst place then the unfair place called the world. I would like to see you take out a man that is full of belief and righteousness in their soul. You may have been able to put people to eternal sleep that have had a dark heart and an soul full of fear, but if you want to really prove yourself here in the WCF beat one of the men who has been here for a couple of years in this very business and only this business I know that I have come back from a very short break in my career, but I am back and that is all that matters here.
D-Day turns right out of the gate entrance and walks through a patch of grass that continues on for the longest time, as far as the eye can see the camera which is now covered with a poncho is now continuing to follow the man in black clothing.
D-Day: Now, Malachi you have been bitching about not getting that title shot for the TV title is that true? You have been saying about how you should earn that title shot for defeating Bobby Burn, which is also a newcomer here in the WCF. I know how you fell Malachi, you feel cheated well suck it up. We have all been there at some time of our career or even our lives. Some one who doesn't dis serve to get that shot is getting it over you. I have been in many matches here in the WCF and you are just another opponent to me. Sure you have done your home work on me and my past very clever I have done that my very self I have researched many men here in the WCF retired or still on the current roster.
D-Day continues to walk through the patchy grass by the creaky cemetery the grass gets bigger and bigger as he keeps on walking in the grass.
D-Day: Malachi, your career here is like this very grass I am walking on, now many peoples careers are like this you start off as a little blade of grass you start to win some matches the grass start to form in patches like they were just a couple of minutes ago. Now lets go to your future here in the WCF, now lets say you become successful here in the WCF and get popular and go one to win the TV title. Now you will get bigger and better like the current grass I am in now. You continue on to grow and grow.
D-Day continues to walk through the grass until the grass disappears and have only turned into dirt. D-Day begins to speak once again to Malachi.
D-Day: Weeds will come into your success and take it over causing you to die. That is how many superstars have risen and have fallen. New talent have came and have crushed all of the superstars hopes and dreams. Malachi if you haven't figured out how people have fallen before. I guess you could say that you have beaten Bobby Burn, you could and you should, but don't get to damn cocky just because you have beaten another newcomer here in the WCF. It is not that big of a deal. I have beaten normal superstars here in the WCF when I was the simple newcomer. I have beaten Chris Avery a man who had a big mouth, but could not back it up with any skill he was what you would call a hypocrite. I have also beaten Ryan Daniels another WCF superstar who thought that I would be a little walk in the park in our triple threat match.
D-Day then continues to walk and stops at a road that has been there for a long time. It has cracks in the middle of it and all around the mysterious road.
D-Day: Now Malachi, you better had gotten all of this information for you now you can either thank me now or after the match. Don't get to cocky during your career here in the WCF it will come back and bite you in your ass.
D-Day: Also Malachi, I will see you in the ring on Monday.
The Scene Ends.
