The only sound in the small, white hospital room is a steady monitor beeping. There is only a bed and a chair in the room, along with quite a few medical instruments. Sitting in the chair, which is pushed back all the way in the corner, is JJ Biggs. The coat that belongs to his suit it lying on the floor next to the chair, his tie has been loosened up a great deal, and he is resting his head on his arm which is resting on the chair.
Obviously, the person that is lying on the bed is Erica Hudson. She has a great deal of medical equipment hooked on her to make sure she stays in stable condition. The hospital has managed to clean her up as best as they can. However, it doesn't seem to matter how good she looks, right now.
Suddenly, the door flies open and Jake Hudson steps in. He is wearing his pajamas under his windbreaker. It's obvious he has been crying. He quickly runs over beside Erica's bed and he takes her hand in his. He whispers a few things to her, that JJ cannot hear from his position. Jake wipes away a few tears as a small smile crosses his face as he knows his sister will be all right. He sniffs a couple of times as he rises up to his feet. JJ gets up from his chair and he walks over to Jake.
JJ Biggs: I'm so sorry about your sister, man. The good thing is, she'll be all right.
Jake Hudson: Yeah. I owe it to you, man. If you didn't find her when you did, I don't even think she would be alive right now.
JJ Biggs: It's nothing, I just can't believe that she was on Heroin. Did you know?
Jake Hudson: Do you honestly think she would still be doing it if I knew about it? I do know that after the hospital clears her to leave I'm going to check her into a rehabilitation center.
JJ Biggs: Good idea.
Jake changes his attention from JJ to his sister, who is sleeping quietly on her bed. He sighs as he rubs his brow and looks back up at JJ.
Jake Hudson: I'm sorry man, but I'm not going to be able to go to Slam with you, tomorrow. I have to stay here with Erica. I hate to miss it, but it doesn't seem like you nor Cairo care about this match so I'm done trying to get you to give a shit. Anyway, I'll see you next week and we can catch up then, all right?
JJ Biggs: All right. I have to get the fuck going. It's almost midnight and I have to be in the ring less than twenty-four hours from now. I'll talk to you later.
Jake Hudson: Peace.
JJ walks back over to the corner and he picks up his suit jacket. He then walk over to the door and he exits the room, closing it softly behind him. Jake sniffs again as he walks over to the corner and he slides the chair over next to Erica's bed. He takes her hand in his again as he sits there, waiting patiently for her to wake up.

This has to be one of the most crazy weeks of JJ Biggs' life. He tried to go out on a date with somebody for the first time since the death of his wife, and she ends up being a drug addict. Then he is told he has to go to Slam by himself. To add to that, he has to wrestle in a match that he has no motivation to wrestle in. He has a partner that has his head shoved so far up his own ass that he doesn't even remember what light looks like and they are facing one of the most odd pairings ever in this business. One of their opponents is a failed actor who calls himself "The Feature Presentation." Well, at least when he is getting his ass kicked there won't be any acting involved. He'll be crying his eyes out but he won't get an Academy Award for it. Then, the other opponent is a sadistic, dead-like, woman who can be described in so many way: pale, scarred, psycho, crazy, whore, dumbass, bitch are just a few. Anyway, even though Cairo and Biggs don't want this match and even though they won't be trying, they'll still come out with the victory.
