For Crimsin Apocalypse, things have always been the hard way. Paving the long, hard road leading up to his old nemesis, David Alastair. He tracked down the mentor of the one David Alastair, friends of David Alastair, even the manager of David Alastair. Now he was here, at the very same company that David worked for. But first off, let’s explain how Crimsin got here to the WCF…
To Death Match Wrestling of Japan (Known as DMW), Apocalypse was your fine example of a gaijin babyface heel, going by the name of “The Crimsin”. Handsome looks mixed with a killer instinct vaulted him to the top of DMW echelon in matter of months. So far, life was great for The Crimsin. That was, until he did an open challenge for his title in an exploding cage. The cage was fenced with barbed wire, explosives, and other elements of a deathmatch. The person who was the first to answer it was a young, very green, “New Messiah” David Alastair. Unlike The Crimsin, David was recovering from a soul relapse from the death of his wife. Fearing Alastair’s mental instability at the time, Crimsin demanded a withdrawal from the match. However, the suits decided that his condition was perfect for the match, despite Crimsin’s pleas.
And so, the match went on as scheduled. The two made their entrances, exchanged blows, pulled off the usual spots, et cetera. Towards the end, neither had gained the advantage. This in turn prompted The Crimsin to go stiff on Alastair. He knew from experience that two hard swings against the barbed wire cage would end any other opponent. However, a bloodied David still kicked out even after the dreaded Crimsin Driver. In a rage, Crimsin kept stiff kicking Alastair. In desperation, David caught Crimsin’s legs and vaulted him into the cage. What followed was horrifying. In that moment, the cage exploded the moment Crimsin’s face crashed into the structure. It was either perfect timing or a freak turn in destiny for the two young, brash wrestlers. Due to the explosion, Crimsin was left blinded, deaf, and bloodied. Alastair saw his opportunity. He climbed to the top of the cage by way of the top turnbuckle. From there, David pulled off his Sky Twister Press, dubbed as the “Nantucket Tornado”. Alastair landed it perfectly, and went for the pin.
The count commenced. 1… 2… 3.
As Crimsin was left in the abyss of his soul, David was standing. Holding the title Crimsin cherished. The belt that gave him so much success outside of the ring. The strap that he desperately wanted since he first joined DMW.
In another turn of events, David looked the belt and threw it down. As if fate was punishing The Crimsin, the bells in his ears succumbed to David’s words…
“So many people have broken their necks, destroyed their bodies, and sold their souls for this belt. A few have even gave their lives for that title. No. I am here to prove a point…That this deathmatch stuff is pure bullshit. I’m shedding blood for some worthless title? This strap isn’t prestigious. Instead, it’s a representation of how people come to see their fellow man nearly kill each other in horrible matches. This makes me sick. So fuck you all, I’m throwing down this belt to end this horror that you all call honor...”
With that, David stormed away.
After the match, Crimsin spent a good few months lying around in a hospital bed. No one visited, since no one cared for him outside of his title. No one was there. Except for David’s words echoing in his head. One night, he decided. He will end David Alastair’s career to regain his honor. No matter where David would go, Crimsin would follow.
And so, after Crimsin recovered, he tracked down all Alastair knew. To David’s mentor, after she gave out information of David’s whereabouts, he catapulted her across the room she was in. The sound of her back crashing into numerous glass dishes and thudding against the wall made him smile in delight. For the next two “victims”, he let go with no trouble. Perhaps a neck choke, but otherwise, he didn’t injure them. And finally, to Alastair’s manager, he pretended to a hitchhiker and as Kyoko stopped the car, window punched her. The force of the blow thoroughly knocked her out on impact. So, he drove to the WCF Arena and under the cover of darkness during David’s segment of Slam, placed her in the middle of the ring. David’s horror in seeing Kyoko’s limp body gave him happiness.
For now… in giving David Alastair pain, brought Crimsin Apocalypse pleasure.
And still, believe it or not, David Alastair still had no clue of his presence. Crimsin’s debut match was drawing nigh, and since he hasn’t wrestled in some time, the adrenaline pulsed through his body once more. He was ready to make an impact in WCF. An impact that David Alastair and perhaps the rest of the wrestling world, will make the name “Crimsin Apocalypse” have people cower in fear once more…
