The scene opens as a camera crew is following former WCF World Champion Allen Guiliano and Hank Brown as they make their way down a hallway inside the Guiliano Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The conversation between them is inaudible as the camera mic is too far away to pick it up. The two men continue side by side until an employee of Guiliano's opens a door and leads the two inside a small conference room. Once inside the room, Allen and Hank are greeted by several other members of the media as earlier that day, the Italian organized a quick conference of local writers, wrestling bloggers, and the WCF employee to address any questions that may remain about his whereabouts and activities prior to last week's Slam.
Notes that have been prepared for the meeting are strewn about the cheery wood table as Guiliano and Brown take their seats at the only two chairs that are left unoccupied. Brown has a seat on one end of the table, his cameraman behind him, as Guiliano takes his place at the head of the table and completes the oval around it. The writers and bloggers are ready at their keyboards and notepads as they pull out their tape recorders and prepare to press the “play” button as soon as the press conference begins. The same employee that opened the door for Guiliano and Brown closes it behind them.
The handful of media members begin to glance over the packets that have been supplied to them and start their recorders as Guiliano clears his throat. Before he even speaks a word, he pushes a tape player of his own into the center of the table and relaxes back into his leather chair, resting his shoes upon the table and motions for Hank to start the tape. Brown quickly obliges and reaches forward, pressing a button on the tape player, starting the small plastic reels that pulls the tape through the cassette. Only static is heard at first, but after a few moments, the voice of Guiliano can be heard. It is not the best of sound quality and is quite faint, but his words can be understood.
“Writers, bloggers, Hank Brown, Bishop, and Priest, please pay attention and listen carefully, because I know this isn't the best recording and probably isn't the best way to get my message across, but I wasn't going to waste my breath on answering questions about the week leading up to Timebomb or the opponents that D-Day and I will be facing this week on Slam. I think it is quite clear that any questions about my focus, my wrestling ability, or my goal of becoming WCF World Champion once again were answered by the result of my match last week in Los Angeles. The odds were stacked against me, I was in a hostile environment, and yes I emerged as the victor and earned another shot at the belt that Chad Evans currently has in his possession. Sure, the match will be held at future date and at a future location that are both currently unknown, but nonetheless, I will be in a World Title match at least one more time. Hector Rodriguez, the hometown hero, and the crowd favorite, had EVERYTHING stacked in his favor and still could not earn the victory over Slickie T.
Yes, I failed to address members of the media and even my opponent leading up to Timebomb, but I answered all the questions I am going to answer in the promos leading up to Slam just one week ago. Personal issues were running rampant through my head and I simply needed a week off to clear my head. Unfortunately for me, my opponent was at the top of his game and took full advantage of my shortcoming. Chad Evans won the battle, but the war is far from over. He may be overlooking me at this point and definitely let the WCF fans know what he thought of my ability after defeating me at Timebomb, but the Slickie T that walked down the ramp in Dallas, was not the one that anyone has seen in the past or will see in the future. I have racked up 21 victories here in this federation and the last several have been against some of the best to ever call this organization home. I have had a long talk with the man himself, Mr. Seth Lerch, and he has made it very clear that I will be held responsible for my actions and what will be expected of me in the future. Some may see it as a mistake on my part and claim that I was irresponsible and did not meet my duty as a professional wrestler, but I felt that I was necessary to escape the world of sports entertainment and get things figured out before they became much bigger problems. The very building that we are sitting in right now, the Guiliano Hotel and Casino, is in a much better state because of my decision to focus on personal issues instead of Mr. Evans. The hotel and casino business is my life, the business of professional wrestling is a passion of mine, but I realize that it will eventually come to an end, this casino will live on as long as I do.
Moving on, a fellow colleague of mine in the WCF, Mr. Hank Brown, had a sit down with Mr. Evans during last week's Slam and he had a few things to say about me that I have been asked to respond to. Chad said several things in his interview last week in L.A., such as being the biggest star in the WCF, that he broke my spirit when he beat me for the World Championship in Dallas, and that I will never be the same. To be completely honest, all three of those things were 100% true. Chad Evans probably is the biggest star RIGHT NOW in the Wrestling Championship Federation and he definitely broke my spirit and made me second guess what I was really doing in the federation. He is also correct when he says that I will never be the same. The two matches that I have had with Chad have definitely changed me not only as a professional wrestler, but as a person as well. It made me realize how quickly that pride, glory, and fame can change. One moment, after pinning Logan to begin my reign as WCF World Champion, I was literally at the top of the wrestling world, but just a few weeks ago, after a defeat to Chad himself, I was back where I started. However, there is one thing that he was wrong about and that is that I am “swearing vengeance” on him to “all that will listen”. Chad, I am done waging verbal warfare on you. Our matches in the past may have been about personal issues and backing up what we put on the table in the first place, but during my week of absence I realized that the only reason I had a problem with you to begin with is that you were after the prize I worked so hard to possess. I let my emotions get the best of me and made our match personal rather than professional. In the future, it won't be about simply beating Chad Evans, it will be about defeating the man who holds the WCF World Championship belt. If that happens to be Chad Evans, then so be it. After my victory at Ten, I was so focused on defending my title that it was like I had rose-colored glasses on that simply only allowed me to see those who were after what I had finally put around my waist. Things are different now and after suffering one of the biggest losses of my career, I now realize it isn't Chad Evans that caused me to suffer a mental break, but simply my own yearning and need to be the best in the WCF. With that being said, I think Chad Evans is a great championship and we both share the necessary fire, determination, and confidence that it takes to not only compete for the WCF World Title, but to actually win it as well. Chad, I know that I am no longer in your sights and Hector Rodriguez is now your focus, but take it from me, there is no off days, and there is no rest when you are THE MAN here in the Wrestling Championship Federation.
Bishop and Priest, I'm going to be real honest to the both of you, until this match was scheduled, I had honestly never heard of the two of you. Sure, I had heard your name in conversation and knew that you were a “true tag team”, but as far as what you bring to the ring or what the two of you have accomplished, I was completely in the dark. Maybe it is my fault for not doing my homework or perhaps it is your fault for simply not being good enough to be of any relevance to me. True, I am not a regular tag-team wrestler and do not have a very good record in tag-team matches since entering the WCF, but I think both of you know that it wasn't me who was pinned or submitted in those bouts. Due to your lack of status here in the federation, I didn't have any issues with either of you, but after the words that you sputtered in your promos, I suppose I have a little something to prove to you both. The entire fan base and perhaps even the entire wrestling community knows my name, but for some reason, you had the nerve to call no only me, but D-Day as well, a “no name”. Gentleman, I don't know if you realize this or not, and perhaps you don't since you seem to be out of touch with anything but the tag team ranks, but I am a former WCF World Champion and was the 2009 WAR winner. If that isn't reason enough to know who I am, then I suppose I will have to introduce myself personally on Monday night. I was laughing so hard than when I said the phrase “Bishop and Priest just called me a no name,” out loud, I hand an entire room laughing so hard they were crying. Also, my tag team partner D-Day is a former Television Champion in his own right and I'm sure that he would have no trouble disposing of you two by himself, but I will be there for backup if he should so need it. It appears this match will be of the three-on-two variety with Doc Henry as the special guest referee, but he will not be able to count fast enough for the two of you to earn a three count over D-Day or yours truly. Doc is a known enemy of D-Day and I'm sure he has some things to settle with me every since I avenged my loss against his longtime friend Johnny Reb. Bishop, Priest, Doc, you better recruit quite the party to come marching down to the ring with you on Monday night if you expect to stop D-Day and Slickie T from having their hands raised at Slam. I could go on and on and on about the things I can do to you inside that squared circle, but I think D-Day covered them all quite well. Bishop and Priest, go on pretending that you are going to win and that you mean something in this federation, D-Day and myself will go on winning titles and leaving our legacy on the WCF.
In conclusion, I want to thank the members of the media that did decide to show up and I also want to thank my staff here at the Guiliano for preparing this tape and the notes that you see in front of you. Do not get the idea that I will be fielding questions once this tape is stopped, because as I told you in the introduction, I have already answered all I am going to about the week leading up to Timebomb. Another other questions that any of you could possibly have can be answered my looking through the packet that you were provided when you got into this room. Once again, thank you for joining me here in Las Vegas, remember to push your chairs in, take all your trash out of the room with you, and please, drive home safely.[/i]
Guiliano reaches forward and stops the tape, looking out over the media members who have a look of obvious disgust on their face not only at the taped message, but also at the unwillingness of the WCF superstar to field questions. Allen presses the rewind button as the other men and women gather their things, collect their notes, and most importantly, push in their chairs, before making the exodus to the door. Once all have gathered just outside the wooden door, it is opened for them and they are escorted out of the room and down the hallway by Guiliano Hotel employees. Hank Brown is the lone man left in the room and quickly extends a hand to Guiliano before he is taken away. The Sicilian acknowledges Brown by returning the handshake and giving him a smile and nod. As Hank finally disappears from view, a new throng of reporters is brought into the room having no idea what they are about to witness. Guiliano greets each one with firm handshake as they enter the room and prepare for the press conference that they were called about. Like the ones before them, they open their laptops, get out their pens and notebooks, and prepare their tape recorders. And just like last time, Allen pushes his own tape recorder in front of them. Unlike the previous session, he pushes the button by himself since there is no Hank Brown this time around.

Guiliano's voice trails off and eventually silences as the screen starts to fade to place. The groans of reporters can be heard as they realize what is happened. Before the lens goes completely black, the view of the camera switches out into the hallway and pans over it, revealing a long line of media members that are waiting their turn to hear Guiliano's pre-prepared message.
