The video cuts on in an empty arena. The ring is the only thing visible since there's a spotlight lighting up the entire thing plus a few feet in every direction around it. Seated on the top turnbuckle in one of the corners is Hector Rodriguez, dressed in a similar outfit from the other day: black pants and a hoodie. Standing in the center of the ring is his manager, Carlos Estrada. Carlos is wearing a white and blue business suit with a white Fedora. He smirks as he sees the camera come closer.

So here we are, less than 24 hours from One. The biggest event each year in WCF. It is the culmination of a year's worth of matches, a year's worth of feuds. A year's worth of blood, sweat, tears and title changes. Despite all the buildup this show receives, despite all the storylines that lead to each matchup tomorrow night, none of it matters when that bell rings for the beginning of each match. The past is erased and a new future is then written. Each wrestler will do everything they possibly can to win their match. Whatever it takes to win, they will do it just so that they can be remembered for winning their match at the biggest show of the year. For a select few, that win will become even bigger if a belt is on the line. This is definitely true in the match for the hardcore title between Hector and Greenfever.
Both men stand on different ends of the spectrum here in WCF. Greenfever is hated and booed. Hector is beloved and cheered. Greenfever is the epitome of disrespect. Hector is the exact opposite and does everything in his power to return respect to WCF. Greenfever is the embodiment of evil here in WCF while Hector is the embodiment of all that is good in WCF. See, most of the time when someone in wrestling stands before a camera and speaks to an evil person, they tell them how wrong their actions are. They try to make them see the light. They try to break through and turn them away from their evil deeds. They try to make them feel guilt and remorse. How do you make a person feel those things when they run around seriously considering themselves a god? How do you break through with someone who is that far gone off the deep end in terms of sanity or lack thereof?
Carlos grins.

It's simple. You don't. You do not try to reason with someone like that. You do not try to break through and show them "the light" so to speak. There's only one solution. You beat this feeling, this attitude out of them. You destroy them. You break them. Now, I know what some of you are thinking...how is it that you can consider yourself a good person, a respectful person if you are willing to do these things? The thing is, sometimes you have to be willing to stoop down to their level to stop them. Hector lost so many of his matches here in WCF by walking the good path one hundred percent of the time. He now knows that sometimes you can't always walk the "good" path, but you don't have to completely lose control of who you are and become as disrespectful as people like Jay Price, Torture, and Greenfever. What makes this even easier is the fact that this is a hardcore match. It makes it easier that Hector is in the hardcore division. It's a match where anything goes. No rules, no disqualifications. The referee can do nothing more than start the match and declare a winner. Anything else he tries to do is pointless as neither competitor has to listen to him.
Greenfever has had an iron grip on the belt ever since the resinstatement of the belt in September. The only exception was when Ace Slaughter pinned him and held it for a couple of weeks. This is proof of something: that Greenfever can be beaten. That he can lose, that he is not completely unstoppable. Greenfever has turned the hardcore division into his own little world. His own little paradise. It has gone from a division of hardcore violence to a world of hell which Greenfever rules over. This ends in mere hours, Greenfever. Hector has been waiting for this opportunity. Months ago when you were awarded the hardcore title when you stole the US title, Hector knew that one day he would end up facing you. Hector knew that at that moment, you two were on a collision course. That your paths would cross and here we are three months later at the crossroads. And actually, if you look at the calendar, it's exactly three months ago today when Seth Lerch awarded you that belt.
As I was saying, here you two stand at the crossroads, staring each other down from across it. One of you will emerge victorious and continue their trip, while the other one will fall and be turned back. Hector recently ended the losing streak he suffered at the hands of Team of Torture members Jay Price and Seth Lerch. You will not be the one to give him his next loss. Your time has come and you will answer for your disrespect you have shown the world. All the suffering you have caused will be answered for in the ring at One.
We will admit that you are a tough individual. Even though Hector believes he will defeat you for the hardcore title, do not mistake this belief for an underestimation of you. No, Hector has been preparing. Ever since Brad Kane announced that it would be Hector facing you for the Hardcore title, Hector has spent the majority of his focus on preparing for his match with you. Training and meditating on the match. The last two matches he was in were nothing but blurs in his mind as everything that mattered to him was this match at One.
Hardcore matches require tough individuals. They require a lot of willpower and strength to survive. They require a high pain threshold and that's exactly what Hector has. He loves pain, he craves it. He was in countless hardcore matches in his home country of Mexico. The pain and agony fuels him no matter if he's dishing it out or receiving it. He was built for the hardcore, made for the hardcore. Psychopaths like yourself and Mr. Ace Slaughter are merely absentminded of the pain you are experiencing in your matches. Hector knows he's experiencing pain, but he doesn't care. The more pain he feels, the more he dishes out. The spikes of pain send adrenaline rushes through his body which makes him angrier and feel a bigger need to hurt someone. So use all the chairs, tables, ladders and other weapons that you want to. I wouldn't depend on the ring crew to supply enough weapons on their own for you to put down Hector. I'd bring some weapons of your own if you want to truly defeat Hector.
You two have only faced off once against each other, in a tag team match not that long ago. Yet the people in the crowd, the people watching on TV and the wrestlers in the back are pumped to see this match, because like I said, it's been a match in the making. It will be one of the most memorable matches, if not THE most memorable match in this year's One. One? Hector is The One. He is the one who will be walking out of your match the new WCF hardcore champion. In just a few hours, you will come to an end of the inevitable collision course you've been on with Hector Rodriguez. The Mexican War Machine will destroy you. Respect will be beaten into you. You consider yourself a god, yet at the end of the match, it will be Hector standing high above you, looking down upon you with pity and shame. It will be Hector that will be perched on the turnbuckles, holding the title belt above his head, cheered on by the masses. It will be you that will be lying there, defeated and broken. It will be you that walks back to the back with the realization that you were beaten by the better man. Good will prevail over evil. Boys in the back, pay attention because Hector's victory over Greenfever will be a message sent out to the rest of the federation: Hector is here to return respect to WCF. Hector is here to punish the wicked.
The video slowly fades out.
