The scene opens as an unmarked, white private jet approaches an airport just as the sun sets and the landing lights illuminate the dimly lit areas of the landing strip. The plane’s landing gear emerges from the bottom of the aircraft as the wheels touch down on the concrete and emit a wisp of smoke. An airline worker guides the plane into a holding area and a set of mobile stairs approach the door on the side of the plane as the engines are turned off and begin to come to a stop. The door slides open and a steward stands in the doorway, making sure the stairs align with the door of the plane. As the steward moves out from the doorway, a familiar Italian figure is now visible, as WCF superstar Allen Guiliano, the WCF United States championship belt draped over his shoulder, begins to makes his way down the stairs and to the pavement below. His shoes glisten in the dwindling sunlight as he makes his way to the terminal and removes his fedora and hands it to a man that is walking at his right-hand side before disappearing into the tunnel.
Another camera picks up the newly arrived Guiliano as he enters the airport and smiles up at the Italian flag that hangs from the ceiling before making his way underneath it and through a small throng of people, out to an awaiting sedan. The door is opened for him as he slides into the back seat and relaxes once again as the vehicle pulls away and begins its journey into the Italian countryside. The black Cadillac makes its way through a plethora of winding city streets before turning onto a road less traveled and leaving a small trail of dust behind its rear wheels. The camera pans inside the vehicle as the newly crowned United States champion opens his eyes peering into the camera lens, his left and still resting upon the gold faceplate of the championship belt resting in the seat next to him. His blank look soon becomes a smirk and then a full fledged smile as he begins to speak.
How good it feels to finally have gold around my waist here in the WCF after a span of just five matches. There were no gimmicks, no DQs, no interferences, and no partners to aid me in my victories, just solid, technical victories. Just one man that was more talented, better prepared, and wanted it more, claiming victory over his opponents and finally being rewarded with a title shot, in which he succeeded yet one more time. The greatest newcomer in the history of the WCF has a title and finally has his name at the top of a WCF card earning a main event appearance with former XGWO colleague and newly crowned WCF World Champion Dake Ken. I’m not sure if Seth was trying to put together an unstoppable force by pairing Dake and myself together this week, but that’s exactly what he has assembled. Two men who have stood in an XGWO ring in the past and earned our way to the top of that federation, finding ourselves inducted in its Hall of Fame before it closed its doors. Two men who are seasoned veterans when it comes to professional wrestling, earning our stripes against the likes of Trent Hunter, Lee Todd, X-Rated, and many others who found success in several federations, and now Seth partners us together to close out Slam. This is like icing on the cake, perhaps even a victory lap for two newly crowned champions that made their name in a former federation. What a night it will be and what a treat for the fans of the WCF when Dake Ken and Slickie T walk down that ramp together, championship belts over our shoulders, and slide under the ropes to take on two opponents that won’t know what hit them when the bell rings. Dake, it is an honor to step in the ring with you this week and I believe congratulations are in order on unseating Torture and becoming a deserving World Champion here in the WCF. I think it has now become obvious that the new faces of the WCF once called the XGWO their home and a new page has been turned in the history of the WCF and the names “Dake Ken” and “Slickie T” will soon be etched all over them.
The Cadillac soon comes to a stop in an unknown location as the door to Allen’s right is opened and he slowly makes his way out of the back seat and to his feet once again before adjusting his tie, throwing the United States title belt over his shoulder once again, and taking a long look out over the olive grove that is before him and nearly hidden in darkness as the last rays of sunlight disappear behind the horizon. As darkness falls, a row of small lamps turn on and light a path down one row of olive trees as Guiliano slowly begins to walk down the path gazing intently at the trees on each side of him. As he makes his way over to one of the plants, he extends is hand and gently plucks the fruit from his braches, running his thumb and forefinger over its soft skin, before putting it to his nose and taking a breath, smelling the aroma of the fresh olive before bringing the light green sphere to his lips and devouring it before turning his attention back toward the camera.
Mikami, now that you are finally rid of your distractions, maybe you will be a formidable opponent this week and show me what a true United States titleholder is made of. Seems as if you need to be more focused on yourself and your own accomplishments rather than submitting to others. You talk about how you want a shot at Torture and want to know what your plan is well how about you step up and take some initiative. Start to control your own destiny rather than sitting back and being told what is expected of you and what you are supposed to do for others. It was obvious you were distracted last week and it was obviously that you did not seem too concerned about retaining the title you fought so hard for. Well, now you now the identify of your mysterious S.K . and you have been rid of the burden of carrying the United States Championship. You are back at square one Mikami and this week will be déjà vu for you, only instead of being defeated for your title at Blast! by a former XGWO superstar, you will be defeated by two of them at the main event on Slam. It makes me sad to see such a talented superstar as yourself submit to the powers of others. However, I warned you last week that you were simply just another stepping stone on my path to the World Championship and even though your distractions seemed to get in the way, I feel the result would have been the same regardless. And now the WCF United States Championship belt belongs to an Italian and he has brought it back to his homeland to give it the respect it deserves. This title is no longer in the hands of a glorified midcarder, but now rests over the shoulder of a main eventer, a legitimate World Championship contender, and a superstar who will properly defend it with the respect it deserves and not become distracted by happenings that are taking place outside the squared circle. Remember the date, June 28, 2009, the day that the United States title was claimed by a deserving champion and the day that it was brought back into the limelight in the WCF. Even though the World Title that my partner holds will always be my ultimate goal, this United States belt will be right here by my side until it is replaced by a more prestigious one.
Guiliano gives a firm pat the gold faceplate of the United States Championship belt once again before continuing down the path, examining even more olives, tasting each one as if looking for defects. The driver of the vehicle makes his way back to the awaiting Cadillac and leaves the Italian alone as he approaches a small adobe hut that has been constructed near the center of the olive grove. Candles can be seen flickering in the windows and silhouettes of other individuals can now been seen in the glowing lights. Guiliano approaches the door and extends a hand to push it open, but stops just before his palm reaches the fading wood. His familiar smirk once again becomes visible as the light from the candles in the hut and from the lanterns in the grove cast an eerie glow upon his face and he once again begins to speak.
It also seems that I have yet another opponent that expresses his doubt in my ability in the ring. A man who seems to have a bitter taste in his mouth because of his recent misfortunes and feels the need to make excuses rather than do something about it. You see, I have been paying attention to what other superstars have been saying about my arrival and path of destruction I have laid here in the WCF and although most seem welcoming of a new face, other seem a little bitter about a new name taking their place in the spotlight. Even the fans of a certain individual seem to have strong words to say about a newcomer stepping into the federation and finding success. I’m sure that Rebel4Life was watching Blast! this past week when this “mob-connected paisan” had his arms raised in victory and was announced as the new United States Champion. I wasn’t aware that the word “paisan” was in the vernacular of those in the South, seems as though they are better known for other racial slurs that aren’t directed toward Italian-Americans. I hope Mr.Rebel4Life is watching his week because I will be sure to send him to bed with tears in his eyes after Dake and myself are standing over his beloved Johnny Reb after being declared victors yet again. Seems as if he needs a new role model to look up to rather than someone that fails to get the job done over and over and over again.
That’s right Johnny, once again, you FAILED to come through and win your precious title that you claim you deserve. You haven’t had it stolen from you or had it pulled out from underneath you, you have simply failed to get it done. Maybe you need to take a long look in the mirror and realize that you just aren’t cut out to be World Champion and need to move aside and make way for a worthy opponent. You can talk all you want about how it is a disgrace that a Sicilian is now the rightful owner of the United States Championship, but it would be an even bigger disgrace if you were the one laying claim to the World Championship title rather than a deserving champion like Dake Ken. Let’s face it, that match at Blast! wasn’t created to see if you could win the World Title, it was created to see who was the better man between Torture and Dake Ken and you just happened to get thrown into the mix. I’m sure that Dake is happy because he came out on top, but outside of Rebel4Life no one wanted to see YOU in that match to begin with and then you go and get pinned and cost Torture HIS World Championship. Now instead of finally knowing who the best wrester in the WCF is, we have yet another end that is left unraveled. You may be able to talk the talk all you want by coming out and saying that I am only a force among midcarders, but it seems to me maybe you need to be scheduled in some midcard matches and prove that you belong up here, because ever since I stepped into a ring here in the WCF, all I have seen you do is come up short when it counts the most. I stand undefeated at 5-0, topping some of the best that the WCF has to offer and you have the gall to stand there, a defeated man, and tell me that I don’t belong in the ring with you? Seems as if I have a title over my shoulder and you are still talking about the one that got away. I know that you guys can tell some pretty good fishing stories down there in the South, but Johnny Reb nearly capturing the World Championship in the WCF may be the most unbelievable I have ever heard. This Monday night you will get a shot to prove that I don’t belong, but just like before, you will come up short, go pouting back to Dixie, and complain to Hank that you were robbed or cheated out of a victory. I only wish that on Monday that it was a one-on-one match between you and I Johnny, that way you would have no excuses when another loss is tallied under your name. No blaming Mikami or claiming that you only lost because Dake was my partner. Get your overalls out of your ass and realize that you just don’t belong at the top of the WCF anymore. You had your chances and proved over and over again that you couldn’t get it done. Maybe you were speaking of yourself when talking about forces to be reckoned with among midcarders, because I believe I have proven myself over the last five weeks and haven’t had to make excuses. Hope you are ready to try and prove to everyone once again that you belong, because you had better bring your A game and leave the excuses at the bottom of the ring stairs, because this Monday you are stepping into the ring with two of the XGWO’s finest, World Champion Dake Ken and an Italian that is the current United States Champion in Slickie T. Forza Italia, mi amore.
Guiliano places his hand on the door once again and this time successfully opens it as a long dining table full of fellow Italians raise their wine glasses and toast the new title holder as he makes his way through the door and extends his arms proudly into the air, showing off his newly acquired title belt before passing it around the table, raising a glass of wine himself before the camera fades to black.
