Alright guys! So, I have a lot of thoughts about this tournament. I'm open for a discussion, so I'm gonna throw out my ideas.
1. Single elimination tournament. First round matches may not be singles matches. For example, one match could be a battle royal to see who advances to the next round, one could be a triple threat, whatever. I'd like to introduce lots of fun gimmick matches and, you know, have fun with everything and do it in WCF style.
2. As far as roleplaying, every match will be based on one roleplay. Given this is a one time tournament I'm not gonna set any crazy rules about counting words or anything, but to put it briefly: I'm not gonna lie, I simply don't have the stamina to read super long roleplays, and it's not gonna help you writing a novel for this. That said, I also haven't been keeping up with all of your characters, so your roleplays are gonna have to re-introduce me depending on how you want your stories to go. So for now, that's where my head is at.
3. After anyone is eliminated, I'd be welcome to keep booking anyone who wants to keep writing for a little bit in non-tournament matches. Again, just for some fun while our lives are all kinda on hold!
4. Just like the old days, I'll be hoping for some of you guys to help write matches. I plan for these shows to be weekly, Sunday nights.
Any questions? This is all in the early stages!, we can figure this out together. Suggestions?

One other thought, this is something I really want your input on:
How do you guys want to write matches in regards to corona virus? I have absolutely no plans to want to write empty arena matches, that's for sure, hah. My current plan is that I'll write some backstory where Seth (or some of you guys with me?) have taken over an entire city and enforced social distancing and wiped out the virus after building a giant wall or some shit. I don't know, you guys are creative, I feel like we can have some fun with the idea.

Maybe the first round matches are all gimmick matches like you suggested, and then the winners of those matches go on to a final match at the end, like a ladder match or a Royal Rumble-type of match.

An entire city of no virus where everyone is a potential wrestler. Lots of masks, capes, and speedos in the audience.

I understand for real life purposes about empty arena, distance purposes. I get that. But, let's use our wicked, demented imaginations during this unfortunate situation. AW needs fans to watch our shows right? Suggestion. Not sure if it's gonna be feasible, but... how 'bout Oblivion takes his van... wait-wait-wait. Relax. It's good for business. Round people up. Pick them up, drop them off at the arena they pay for their tickets. The Monster goes and gets more people and so forth. Oblivion even signs a contract, promises to not harm a single person, so they can watch AW Wrestling.

Honestly I want the full nostalgic Seth's brain WCF experience. Just drop it on us, man. Bring on the clusterfucks. I will be happy to write a match if I can remember how to do it.

My first thought was Seth keeps the location super private and tells everyone how "safety is number one priority, we're taking every precaution in the world" and then it ends up being some warehouse with no safety protocols whatsoever. And then the commentators can bring it up, like... well, we're all gonna catch coronavirus but WCF IS BACK BABY

Every match must be fought under "Social Distancing Rules", meaning wrestlers have to stay six feet apart from one another.
"PPE on a Pole" Match
"Quarantine" Match: Wrestlers are locked in the same house for two weeks. Winner is the last man standing.

Nobody tell him who the last champ was. He'll probably have a heart attack.
Put me down as a hard 'maybe'...definitely want to appear, don't know how work schedule will look.
