Good lord almighty, we gotta get on the same page, ya feel me? When there's 6 RPs in at 10pm on Sunday night and like a match maybe, we got problemos. I get we're not the only dog in the fight, we aren't the only place you can RP - but I believe we do have the best ideas in the game. Infinity, Tag League, Ultimate Showdown, War, One, Trios (when we had it I guess) all are fuckin' ridiculous fun things to do. There's history here dating back longer than some of our members have been alive, shit's nuts man.
All Price needs is some assistance. Dude has a full time job, he has other hobbies, he can't write every match on the card. And while most of the time it's good, we have got to somehow put an end to the late shows. That means everybody coming together and helping out with the cards - which probably means RPing before 10pm Sunday too.
We can do this, it's been a team effort for over a year, we can get better.

I know this isn't the case however i feel attacked here. I do RP elsewhere however i no showed there too. I started a job in manufacturing and am working crazy long hours. If thats a problem let me know and I'll be on my way

I think Corey meant it in the sense of.. the WCF is worth saving. That you could let it die and there would be other places to roleplay. But the WCF offers unique ideas and has a history that makes it worthwhile.

Yeah no, that wasn't an attack on anyone specifically.
Corey knows my frustration over late shows, something I don't make public. I seriously hate being late for anything, including posting.
This week was especially rough, but we can rebound as a fed and work harder as a group going forward. There's enough people here that not everyone has to write a match each week, at most we only have 8-10 matches depending on if it's a Slam or a PPV. I usually snag 1 or 2, so we only need a few people to step up each week and grab just 1 match.
But the most important thing is getting them sent in at a reasonable time. We get stuff happens sometimes, but as long as everyone who signs up to write does there best to get their stuff done, we'll be fine. And if not, we can always get it written for them.
But please, nobody feel singled out here.

If for no other reason rp because James Wolf pisses you off. When I had him under the "Morbid Wolf" name in my very early days I had a lot of people trying to talk me into a retirement match, and my answer was always the same. No because I have more people to piss off. Which pissed off more people.
Got the band audition tomorrow, and I also have a local MMA show coming up Friday with my wife. So... going to hopefully get my matches in some time later today/tonight

Plus you write matches pretty often so really REALLY don't take it personally. Who should? Oh I don't know, some dweeb who is supposed to be helping out as "front office" but can't even be bothered to write a match once a week. (it me) But anyways, fuhgettaboutit and you're definitely appreciated it here. |
