Hey everybody! Guess what happened to me? Well some how I scored myself a band audition for a Rolling Stones Tribute Band. They also have some other covers thrown in like the Beatles, The Black Crowes, Matchbox Twenty.
Either Wednesday or Thursday I'll be driving to Clearwater FL to Suncoast Studios. So wish me luck. I'm just going to go in there and rock the fuck out with whatever they need me to do, and even if I some how don't get the gig I'll come out as being a better musician. But I think I have a good chance of getting it. So wish me luck and I'll let you know how it goes after we practice their set list.
So we'll see if I get this vocalist position. Later all

One of the guys got sick so it was rescheduled for January 24th. 8:30 to 9:30. I get the later time slot because I'm in competition with somebody else. Nothing can ever be simple... lol..... so now I'm going to work even harder. I've got 2 weeks to learn the songs on the set list. And add my own spin for stage presence.
Then on the 25th my wife and I are going to a local MMA show in Tampa where her friend's husband is fighting on the card. So that should be a lot of fun, and one more thing that's not really related to this post but I'm going to start Tang Soo Do training next month. So if for some reason I don't get it I'll still go on to doing that any way. That will keep my Tuesday, and Thursday's filled.
And I'll damn sure try to make sure I am the only choice so I can see all my work pay off.

Tang soo do. Nice choice!
I'm a kung fu kinda girl myself (tiger style) but tang soo do is legit.
Anyway, too bad your audition is delayed, but at least you have more time to get that much better! Good luck!

I use to play bass a little bit in my spare time but they need a vocalist so that’s what I’ll be trying out for
