Scott Slayer is walking angrily backstage right after his tag team match. Hank walks up to him wondering what happened in the match.
Hank: Scott I know you’re probably upset-
Scott Slayer: Damn right I’m upset! I promised that I was going to win. I should be champion right now! I don’t even know how Teo and DW won! Two people can’t pin the same person in a tag match! Referees want to go against me, this company wants to go against me, Kennedy is super pissed at me, the locker rooms are against me! I’m fucking tired of being the black sheep here! Then you want to come up to me and ask me how I’m doing like the stupid bastard you are!
Hank: I’m sorry I just-
Scott Slayer: I don’t give a fuck about what you want! Now leave me alone!
Scott Slayer punches Hank in the face and storms out of the building while Hank is watching holding his jaw with a scared look.
Scott Slayer gets in his car and starts driving to the next Slam. He then gets on his phone to see what people think of his match. The headlines read, “Scott Slayer falls short of His Promise, Scott Slayer and Kennedy Matthews lose a controversial match, DW Wolf and Teo Blaze Reign Superior.” Scott then aggressively throws his phone out of his car window. He starts to talk to himself in his car while driving.
Scott Slayer: So everyone is going to talk about me losing? What about after the match? I held up the Hardcore Title and I got in DW’s mind. I left him bleeding up the ramp, wondering if that just happened in a tag team match with his partner, what’s going to happen at Payback when he has no partner, no place to go, when every weapon is in my hands. News flash, you can’t do anything. No one can. With how damn angry and bloodthirsty that I am, you cannot win. I want this championship so bad, I’m fighting my own sister for it. Kennedy and I, we’re family, nothing can break that bond, but if it comes down to her or me, it’s going to be me. They say that I came up short of my promise. Maybe I did. Maybe I let everyone down. I didn’t follow through. But, who the fuck cares about what they think. These fans never seem to get enough. They’re never satisfied. I put my life on the line and this, this is how they say thank you? By trying to make me feel like a sorry, fallen hero. Like I’m supposed to be the poster boy for good behavior, the guy who walks red carpets and claims to be an entertainer rather than a wrestler, like I have to say to kids to believe in their dream and work hard, to give them a real life Superman? Well guess what shit heads, it’s not going to work. I don’t give a damn about what you want me to be. I know who I am. I know that I’m the guy who was always seen as the rookie, the guy who was supposed to be in the background while everyone else took their shot. The guy that has proven in five months that I’m the best, that I’m the ratings draw, that this my show, my ring, my microphone, and my company when it has taken guys five years to prove that! I’m the guy who proves every day that anyone who faces me is ending up in a body bag! I’m the X factor for this place! I’m the only guy here who that when he talks about something, when he puts it all in the ring, whether it’s in the ring, on a podcast, in an interview, that I’m the only person who knows the meaning of hardcore! Don’t believe me, ask the guys who bullied me, the ones who said that I wasn’t going to be anything, that I was going to end up like the rest of my family, either dead, in jail, or sipping on booze wasting and regretting my life, but it will be pretty hard to find them considering their, unfortunate, “accident.”
Flashbacks of his childhood memories from middle school start to appear. Scott is walking down the street to his uncles house in tattered clothing with worn out shoes. Two boys in leather jackets, jeans and black boots start going after him.
Bully 1: Hey check it out, it’s the bitch from school!
Scott walks away faster.
Bully 2: Where the hell do you think you’re going?
Scott starts to run. Another bully corners him in an alley and Scott has no where to run.
Scott: Come on this is the third time this week. I don’t want any trouble.
Bully 1: What are you going to do? Run away to mommy and daddy? Oh wait, there not here anymore are they bitch?
Scott: Don’t talk about my family!
Bully 1: Or what? You’re dead beat, drunk uncle is going to stop us.
Scott: I said stop!
Bully 1: You know what, it’s good your parents died. They belong in Hell.
Scott punches him in the face. The other bullies start punching and kicking him. They beat him up and leave Scott bleeding and crying in pain. Scott walks home again. His uncle is sitting with bottles of beer on the couch.
Uncle: What took your ass so long? I’ve been here all fucking day waiting for you.
Scott: I’m sorry. I got beaten up again.
Uncle: You should have with your bitch ass. You’re a disgrace to your mom and dad. You should’ve died!
Scott: Leave me alone!
His uncle gets up and punches him in the face.
Uncle: Don’t ever talk to me like that again!
Scott goes to his room crying. He has an angry and sadistic look on his face. He opens up his bedroom window and sneaks out. He sees a light in a subway tunnel.cHe found the bullies hangout.
The bullies are laughing and talking.
Bully 1: Hahaha. Did you guys see his face. What a bitch am I right?
Bully 2: Exactly man.
Scott sneaks into the hangout. He sees the bin of fire by them. He has that sadistic look on his face again. He sees a bottle of gasoline on the ground. The bullies hear something. They check outside. Scott pours the gasoline all over the the hangout. The bullies go back inside to find Scott.
Bully 1: What the hell! Get him now!
Scott sprays the gasoline in the bullies faces and mouths. They’re stunned and Scott kicks over the bin of fire and flees away. He looks back with an evil grin as they’re screaming in pain. He goes back home and sneaks back in his room.
The flashback fades away.
Scott Slayer: I’ll never forget that day. The day when I became the killer that everyone hates, resents, rejects. But, why do they blame me? For having the balls to do what no one else has the balls to do. But, don’t blame me. Blame that soulless uncle of mine. He made me a monster, soulless like him. You probably expected me to say that I killed him right? No, I would never hurt my own flesh and blood. He was an asshole and at other times a devious dick, but thanks to him, I’ve never been more violent, more angry, more powerful. Thanks to him, I will unleash Hell on Earth starting at Payback. Everyone is going to see the animal that I have become. They will see my aggressive spirit in action. I will show all of you pieces of shit why they call me The Anarchist, the deadliest man alive. I’m more dangerous than ever before. At Payback, I will win the Hardcore Championship, with my head bloody, my heart almost stopping, in more pain scarier than your wildest dreams, and I’ll love every second of it. Kennedy, have you been in my shoes? Have you killed three people in middle school? No you haven’t. I’m that evil. I’m that dangerous. I’m just that deadly son of a bitch. You’re going to see that, DW will see that, the whole world will see that the Devil lives, and he is in fact walking here on Earth. And you’re looking at his reincarnation.
The scene fades to black as Scott arrives at his hotel in New Jersey.
Hank: Scott I know you’re probably upset-
