After playing the Deluxe Version of WWE 2k19 here are my impressions. As for the game itself you might as well call it Here Comes the Pain 2. If you've been playing this game since 2k took over you pretty much know the controls. The voice work is solid and that's a big highlight. Especially in the career mode which sees you start out in the indies. You can invade NXT, or avoid the whole thing. If you invade NXT you'll get the wrath of Triple H. If you don't I guess you won't. But I invaded NXT so of course I went to Smackdown Live.
Shane McMahon, and Daniel Bryan run things there. For the most part things are like you would see on TV, but Triple H does come out to throw his weight around, and then you have to take part in whatever angle there is. The timing on reversals could be fined tuned more but usually you can reverse stuff, and this years game isn't just about reversals. You can actually wrestle people online without them just over powering you. If you try and keep trying you are going to look the part. I won an online match but I haven't done many. I have to build up my character and that takes awhile. For online you can also choose your faction. Whether its a heel or face faction. Your faction will interfere on your behalf as well. there are sub level moves too. I haven't really seen what they do yet.
creating championships are fun, and you can download, and create pretty much anything you want. this year you can add custom plates to the regular wwe title.
I'll start going through the roster and creating the WCF counter parts soon because well why the hell not?
