Character Name: Thursday Kerrigan
Nickname:
The Six Goddess
The Queen of Blades
The Queen in Yellow
Hometown: Hollywood, CA
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 110 lbs
Alignment: Heel
In-Ring Style: Thursday is a lithe, agile brawler who utilizes her small size and natural agility for a high octane offense. Influenced by the styling of Jared Holmes, she is exceptionally vicious in the ring, often seeming to be intentionally trying to injure her opponents. Her signature moves and finishers have a common theme: targeting the head, neck, and throat of the opponent. This is no coincidence. Thursday is not a coward; in fact, she seems to have a flagrant disregard for her own safety and well-being. That attitude just also extends to the safety and well-being of her opponents.
Bio:
Thursday Elizabeth Kerrigan was the middle child of her family, her parents an immigrant banker from Dublin and a costume designer for Paramount. Thursday was raised as a semi-normal upper-middle class girl: she attended private high school, got a used sports car for her sixteenth birthday, and was encouraged to attend acting school after graduation while her older sister attended Princeton and younger brother attended Dartmouth. While working on her degree, Thursday kept close to Los Angeles, frequenting Hollywood nightclubs and occasionally making appearances at formal Hollywood events with her mother.
Everything changed when she met Jared. Few friends or family quite understood the transformation which their daughter and friend underwent: the keen sense of fashion quickly turning dark and minimal, the overindulgence in drugs, and the brink-of-oblivion lifestyle which characterized the members of #BeachKrew. Even fewer understood exactly what attached Thursday so tightly to Jared’s side (though his parents agreed he seemed like a perfectly pleasant young man), but few predicted her to leave it any time soon.
Following “the Incident in Mexico”, the members of the Dag Riddik Gang vanished. Left on her own, #BeachKrew now in shambles and forced to fend for herself in a fed full of people who’d love to get their hands on her for her actions as Jared’s valet, Thursday has found herself surrounded by the wolves. Luckily, she had just as many tricks up her sleeve as her squeeze. A semi-successful solo career and the foundation of tag team S T I L E T T O gave Thursday the protection and confidence needed to survive on her own until the 6ix God returned. Spending a few months from the ring, Thursday has laced her boots back up to join her "bff" Alessandra once more.
Attire: On her way to the ring, Thursday wears an entrance attire similar to Jared’s: a diamond covered full-face mask topped with an encrusted crown of thorns and a long yellow cloak with a shoulder mantle covered in this symbol and the Eye of Horus.
In the ring, Thursday wears a loose black sleeveless shirt over a black bra, black denim shorts, fishnet leggings, and wrestling boots. On her left wrist, she wears both an old #BeachKrew wristband and a 6ix God wristband.
Theme song: “Wolves (OG Version)” by Kanye West ft. Vic Mensa and Sia
Pic Base: Taylor Momsen
Entrance:
The lights in the arena go dark as the initial bass drops of “Wolves” ring out through the PA, the building slowly trembling. As the verse begins, a single spotlight hits the middle of the ramp, the diamond-covered mask of Thursday Kerrigan glittering brilliantly. Her arms come up slowly, her palms raised upward in the regal display of a queen as the crowd begins booing.
The spotlight slowly dims as she walks down the ramp, the titantron crackling with static and glitched graphics as the snare drum slowly rattles its way into the verse. When she reached the ring, she slides under the bottom rope and pulls herself to her feet, slowly drawing the mask off of her face and raising it in the air. The spotlight finally dies and leaves the arena in darkness before the house lights come on and music ends.
Favorite moves:
Knife chops, roundhouse kicks, closed fist punches, missile dropkick, stomps (especially to the head), tornado DDT, DDT, jawbreaker, swinging neckbreaker, European uppercut, chop block, pele kick, cross body, elbow and knee combinations, frankensteiner, gut wrench suplex, double foot stomp, standing star press, pile driver, headlock, front chancery, grounded armbar, diving double knee drop, mounted punches, manhattan drop, bulldog, diving front dropkick, alley oop backbreaker, rope-hang DDT, arm drag, somersault plancha, senton bomb, hip attack to cornered opponent.
Signature move(s):
-Dropkick to the throat of opponent seat in corner. She will take a running start from the opposite corner.
-Punt Kick (tends to aim for the throat rather than temple)
-Curb Stomp
-Springboard Double-Knee Jawbreaker (aka Code Breaker)
-Cliché Kick – Superkick to the stomach. Sets up the Dolphin Driver.
