I am the polar opposite of my character as well.. Faith, beliefs, psychological issues, mannerisms, etc. It helps me be more creative.

Yes, I lost my Dad a few years ago, my fiance lost her younger brother a few years ago, etc. So, it's been rough, but I just keep faith in God.. Sometimes it's hard to, but I still do.
