Born in 81. Yes I remember when there was NO internet, let alone high speed haha! I also remember when we DID get internet you'd get yelled at for being on it if someone wanted to make a phone call. Also that ear piercing connection noise lol. But shit even when we got internet, didn't use it that much. There was way too much to do and too much to see. Sports to play, dates to go on, trouble to get into. We actually experienced life rather than our camera phone experiencing it for us. I miss the days of going outside and every kid in the neighborhood was out and about and we did things. We actually socialized for real and were productive with coming up with things to do. No one was ever bored. The only time you stayed home and played video games was when the weather was too nasty to do anything else. And hell, you didn't WANT to stay indoors. There was too much life happening outside and we never wanted to miss a second of it. Millennial definition... young adult in the 2000s... born in '81... 19 in 2000! 19 = Young Adult! Young Adult in 2000's = Sarah Twilight is a Millennial !!!!!!!!!!!

No dimwit. Young adulthood begins at about 15, and if you are "technical" about it, 18 ... someone who BEGAN young adulthood in the year 2000 would be a millennial. I am Generation X, the generation before it.

Basically, even millennials born in 85 (the start year for millenials) or such aren't necessarily the ones that people are talking about when they talk about millennials.
It's the ones who grew up completely in the digital age and cannot remember a time without internet etc and all of the conveniences we have now. Anyone born about 1989 or after will have no memory of a time without those things.
