Yikes. As, if everything works out, a future lawyer I highly recommend obtaining an attorney in this case. You could lose out far more than you think. There are some attorneys that will take payment only after the case, and sometimes even set up payment plans.

Well, this one is for child support, which she lied under oath. The custody part is next month. Which sucks that each segment is separated. I can't even pay bills, let alone make payments to a lawyer.

I know in Alabama you can get from $500 to I believe $15,000 in fines and/or anywhere from probation to 10 years in jail for perjury. Depends on if the statement was materal to the case, and if you wish to pursue. Each State is different though.
