Hit a deer on the way home from work last night. It bounced off and continued going.
My van, however, now needs a radiator and other related parts. Will be spending the day doing repairs, and possibly missing work this evening. Don't expect quick replies. I'll check the boards as I come in between bouts of cursing and wishing for a duffel of C4 to end my van's misery.

Glad you're okay. Deer kill more people per year in America than any other animal, largely due to car accidents. LARGELY due to car accidents.. not ENTIRELY due to them? So, deer just straight up kill people sometimes? This is terrifying. |

So, deer just straight up kill people sometimes? This is terrifying. Yup. They can be very aggressive. I once was in charge of caring for some Reindeer (same family) and their version of play was "stab with antlers". There's also plenty of stories of deer attacking people in the woods. In fact, if you're hunting, you have to be careful how you approach the deer, and make sure it's dead before you do anything. |

Van is running, not overheating, not leaking, still gonna take a couple extra gallons of water to work with me tonight just in case. Initial results are promising.

Or, use neutralizer spray, or.. Don't shower, use deodorant, cologne, etc. My Dad was a butcher, and on the side he worked for a deer processor butchering deer etc. So, lot of experience here... |
