So, I just went to a friends house to have a few drinks, smoke some cigars, and enjoy a weekend before my wife goes back to Teaching for the school season. We went over to a friends house, and yea, we had a blast. I swear, I've never seen my wife this drunk, it was fun.
Then my friend started breaking down. He's a Veteran, and he's lost some good friends over there. Damn tough job those boys have over there. I try to help some of the Veterans when they come back, try to ease them into a civilian life, etc. I hear a lot, and it still gets heart wrenching every time.
Anyway, needless to say my mind is on that right now. I've got two more roleplays to write, and I'm going to write them. If they get a bit dark, or a bit "preachy", please forgive me. I'm going to try to avoid it, but just in case.
