I am checking in at least once or twice a day to admin, but I am not really actively participating in anything right now. Its on purpose.
Basically, and some of you will think me foolish for this...
But I am turning 29 on the 20th of August, and it makes me think how close I am to 30 and it makes me think of all the nothing I have done with my life. Like, I had a plan and dreams and such and not even one bit of it is something that I accomplished...and I don't know I feel like a bum.
So I haven't really been in the mood to be my normal, fun, awesome, amazing, better than Gemini self. Just wanted to let you guys know.
Love ya's!

At 32 I entered college and set forth on a path to a useful career. Things can look up.

Plenty of time left to get those things done if you want to. Or even make new plans.

I'll 42, and I look back..and, think of what I could've done different, etc.
But, one thing I can say, bro. Just make the best of yourself that day, and make plans of what you DO want to do (whether vocation, leisure, family, etc.)
And, Bates summed it up very well.. It's never too late for anything in life, and also.. Just keep giving each day 100%.
You will be fine, and just remember age is only a # (and, it doesn't go for just 'women' anymore.. lol)

Purse, make your plans and follow through. WCF can still be the place you can unwind with your friends. We may be dysfunctional sometimes, and even most times, just remember TITS okay, we'll finger her out later.

I have a wife way hotter than me, a good paying job where I'm a manager, a wife with a rich family who also makes way more than me. 2 beautiful daughters and own a house. gemini: 6 Purse: -0 The phrasing makes it sound like you have two wives. I can't prove that you don't of course, but I had to point it out. As for Purse, I'm going to tell you one of the biggest secrets of life. True happiness can never come from comparing yourself to others. For one thing, you'll never win. There's always someone harder, better, faster, stronger (synth beat) but more importantly, it is virtually impossible to fairly compare even two peoples accomplishments. Everyone around you has had advantages you have not, but also had struggles you have not. You've had advantages others have not and you've had challenges others have not. But the thing everyone forgets is: that's okay. I almost failed out of high school and it took me 7 years to get my associates degree. 2 years after that I graduated with honors and am working on my masters. Does it make me worse than people who got their 4 year degrees in 4 years? Nah. Does it make me better than people who never were able to get into grad school? Nope! Just means we're taking different paths through life. To me the fast food cook is just as important as the CEO. Without him, I couldn't have a burrito at 2am, and that's not a world I want to live in. I am grateful people exist who are willing to do those roles, and consider them to have as important a role to society as anybody else. The point is that there is no better or worse in the grand scheme of things. People are people and certain people get opportunities that others do not. There's no reason to worry about what might have been when the question really is what could be. Of course I have to include an asterisk. There are those who insist on comparing everybody, ranking other people. Oftentimes people close to you will compare you to people seen as more succesful. There's not a lot you can do about it. The ideas above are something you can come to terms with in your own head, but they aren't something everyone will follow. So the best advice I can give is to try to keep perspective, and remember that tomorrow is another day, a day where you can accomplish anything if you want it badly enough.
