I'm getting real tired of writing for Slam and it ends up being late because almost everyone else waits until the last minute.
Matches in by deadline. Should be a rule, but it isn't. Let it be a guideline.

I 100% agree...matches should be in by 10 pm EST. My suggestion only...
If you can't write:
#1 Don't commit to it. Don't sign up.
#2 If there's an emergency, immediately jump on 'match thread' and post...no later than 8 pm. Unless, it's extraordinary circumstances.

I would jump in and try to help write another match, but another child support court thing tomorrow..and, also a meeting with Vocational Rehab. Office to help obtain a job, since I have partial disability from near-fatal wreck. Unemployment is not enough $, and people don't want to hire someone that uses a cane.
So, utilizing government agency to help me locate a job. Thank God I have an excellent resume after 20+ year work history, and a BS in Finance. *cross my fingers*
Any/all prayers will be appreciated.

I don't understand why there isn't a deadline for match writing. I understand that it's done as a favor to Seth, but if you volunteer for a match there should be a hard deadline.
I know I don't ever write matches and I shouldn't complain (I'm not really complaining), but I just think it's odd there is no deadline.

for the record the tag match is done but if I have time to come back to it for a look through tomorrow to make sure its the best I can give you guys Ill take the extra 12 hours

For the record im at an all day concert which is why I'm not home at the moment (and what I had to get up early to get to!)
One of the bands im here to see plays last at 8 which means I'll be home 10:30 or so. I'm back to work tomorrow so I don't have much time to get things finished after that.
It's really important to have everything in by then. I only have one PM which leads me to believe I've only had one more match submitted... I don't know why that is since everyone should have planned to have everything in last night but here we are!
Like I said, last week was my bad so shit happens I guess. But I don't want people to take for granted that I can stay up all night just because I can do it sometimes, and I really really don't like delaying shows for a variety of reasons.
