For the past couple of hours Crystal had sat in her hotel room thinking about her upcoming match. Despite the ongoing issues with her teammates she had successfully made it to the second round of the Trios tournament, but the second match would be a lot more challenging for her. Not because she feared that she may not be able to out perform her opponents, but because she had been placed against one of her best friends in not only the business, but outside too. Crystal knew she had to fight Bonnie Blue and the thought of doing so troubled her quite a bit. She really really did not want to harm her friend, but each time she had tried to raise this concern of hers she had received nothing but negativity from everyone she attempted to approach. Was it really a sign of weakness that she didn't care to fight her friends or go beyond what was necessary to win their match?
Crystal sighed to herself as she sat in front of the mirror in her bedroom applying her silver glittery eyeshadow. Time was quickly running out and she had to make up her mind as to what to do in her upcoming match. Would she just stand on the ring apron the entire time and just leave it to Sarah and Andre to deal with it all? Would she even be able to stand there and watch them harm her friend? Crystal knew what she had to do, she just didn't want to listen. She was a wrestler, a performer, she simply could not allow her emotions to get the better of her and allow them to dictate what she did in the ring. Would Bonnie go easy on her just because of who she was? It was extremely doubtful. Crystal thought about what Sarah would be telling her in this scenario if she only knew about the newcomers concerns, but unfortunately for Crystal, she hadn't been able to reach Sarah for the past couple of days. She had tried to call her several times but she just would not answer her phone no matter what. Crystal couldn't help but worry about her team mate despite their rocky start. She hoped she was alright.
Just as Crystal began to place her makeup away, she heard a key rustle in her hotel room door. Maybe Sarah was here for her after all? Crystal turned her attention to the door as nonother than Bonnie Blue stepped into the hallway closing the door behind her. Bonnie looked unusually troubled as she stood there, her hair looking quite messy which was no like her at all. Crystal couldn't help but wonder where she had been and what she had been up to as she smiled at her friend.
Crystal Knight: Hiya Bonnie, whats up?
Crystal knew something was up, Bonnie looked so uncomfortable standing there.
Bonnie Blue: Hey, Crystal. You, uh... got a minute?
Crystal raised an eyebrow at her friend, she had no idea what was going on here. Bonnie looked like she was about to tell her that someone had just died or something.
Crystal Knight: Whats wrong? This isnt like you to be all serious like this, Bonnie...
Bonnie hesitated, suddenly uncertain
Bonnie Blue: Look, I don't want you to be upset, ok...?
Crystal began to worry a bit, what was going on here?
Crystal Knight: Bonnie you're starting to worry me now. You're talking as if you'd just killed Kovu or something. What ever is the matter? You can tell me anything, you know that.
Bonnie took a deep breath as she stepped into the bedroom part of the hotel room and leaned up against a nearby wall.
Bonnie Blue: It's nothing like that. It's more of, um... I sorta, kinda... accidentally slept with... someone.
Confusion mixed with a little bit of anger rushed through Crystals body. This was not something she had expected her friend to tell her at all.
Crystal Knight: Whaaa? How on earth do you accidentally sleep with someone?! Did you slip and just kind of land on top of him or something?!
Bonnie sighed.
Bonnie Blue: Well, sorta. I mean, there was some Hennessey involved. We were celebrating a pretty big win, and one thing led to another. Next thing I know, I'm wakin' up in DeMarcus' bed with a hangover.
Crystal was still extremely confused.
Crystal Knight: Are... are you sure you actually slept with him? I mean, you obviously fell asleep in his bed... But how do you know you guys actually had, you know, sex?
Bonnie Blue: I wasn't so drunk that I didn't know what was going on... multiple times... for the better part of the night.
Anger flashed through Crystal as she stood up from her chair. She wanted to throw it directly at Bonnie. This feeling was completely unknown to her. Anger. She wasn't supposed to be like this, she was supposed to be better than this. To allow her emotions to control her. That was something Sarah Twilight would do, not Crystal Knight. She looked angrily at Bonnie, literally fighting with her own emotions trying to keep herself as calm as possible.
Crystal Knight: Multiple times? Actually... You know what? I don't want to know the details.
Crystal paused.
Crystal Knight:...Do you love him?
Bonnie Blue: What kind of question is that? I mean, we're friends, but... it was just sex.
Crystal rolled her eyes angrily at what Bonnie had just said to her.
Crystal Knight: Bonnie, sex is never just sex! It's not! There is always some kind of feeling there... I jus--- I just cant believe this right now. I mean I was making all these plans on what to do with you this week and you come through my door and tell me THIS?!
Bonnie Blue: Would you prefer if if I hadn't?
Once again she paused trying to find the right words.
Crystal Knight: ...no! But that isn't the point, Bonnie! How would you like it if I went and slept with someone. I just... I dont know. Im being stupid.
Bonnie Blue: C'mon Crystal... you know I wouldn't intentionally do anything to hurt you...
Bonnie went to place her hand on Crystals shoulder, but the young wrestler batted it away not allowing her to touch her.
Crystal Knight: If you didn't want to hurt me, you shouldn't have gone and slept with him, Bonnie!
Bonnie Blue: Why are you so upset about this?
Crystal: BECAUSE I LO---IKE YOU! I like you. Like, like you like you. At first I thought it was just the adventures you took me on which got me all excited and put butterflies in my stomach, but as it went on, and as we continued to go places together, I started to realize that these feelings, the excitement, the butterflies in my stomach... they weren't because of the adventure, but who I was going on the adventure with. You know I was actually planning on telling you this stuff later today, and I guess that's ruined now, huh?
Crystal sat down on her bed, tears rolling down her face.
Crystal Knight: I've never felt this way about another girl before, Bonnie. I dont know what it is with you but, I don't know, you just always made me feel at home. Even when we were so far away from here, you made me feel at home. I just... I can't believe you did this. I... I think I need some time to think, Bonnie
Without a word, Bonnie crossed the room to sit beside Crystal. Gently, she brushed a strand of hair from the young woman's face. And then, impulsively, Bonnie pulled her in closer, until their lips met. But despite really really not wanting to, Crystal pulled away and scowled at Bonnie. She had after all just broken her heart.
Crystal Knight: No!!! You do not get to kiss me! Not after what you did! I want you to leave, Bonnie. I want you to go! And I never want to see you again!
Bonnie Blue: But, Crystal...
Seeing the fire in the other girl's eyes, Bonnie reluctantly stood and moved toward the door.
Bonnie Blue: Fine, if that's really what you want....
Crystal Knight: You know, I spent these last couple of days trying to figure out how I was going to fight you and your friends this Sunday. Because I know I have to, and I really didn't want to anger Sarah, again... So I was thinking that I should maybe just go out there and like go easy on you, as if we were sparring together not full on fighting... But now, now that I'm thinking about it, maybe Sarah was right.
Bonnie Blue: What do you mean?
Crystal Knight: I mean being nice, a goody goody, a girl scout, in this world won't achieve a thing. Maybe Sarah was right, I do need to toughen up and fast... Maybe I should go out there and view you and HIM in the same way Sarah views all of her opponents.
Bonnie Blue: Yeah? What are you gonna do, hit me with a ring bell?
Bonnie didn't mean to say what she just did, but it was too late. Despite her regret she could see the anger in Crystals eyes, a sight she had never seen before. Crystal stormed over towards her hotel room door and tore it open, almost breaking it off its hinges.
Crystal Knight: Get out! Get out of my life! Stay away from me! I never want to see you again! Not ever! Out! GET OUT!!!
Bonnie slowly stepped toward the irate Crystal and paused, she wanted to try and defuse this situation and talk Crystsl down but she knew that trying to do so now would be a bad idea. She sighed as she stepped towards the door, head down to the ground. As soon as she had stepped through the doorway Crystal slammed the door shut. She slid down the door frame and immediately started sobbing into her hands.
