WCF "ROOKIE" SENSATION MOVES UP THE NFL DRAFT BOARD
TMZ SPORTS, Chicago, Illinois: Quarterbacks are the lifeblood of the NFL. If a team owns a franchise passer, the limits are boundless. If a team has squat under center, the search becomes all-consuming.
With so many teams constantly spinning on the quarterback carousel, passers are at a premium. This year's free agency class of signal-callers was meager at best, they almost always are, which makes the draft the focal point in obtaining pigskin hurlers.
We know Jared Goff and Carson Wentz will go off the board at No. 1 and No. 2 overall (respectively).
The question is what happens with San Diego at No. 3 and Dallas at No. 4?
Will the Cleveland Browns take a swing at No. 8 or trade back to swipe one? How about the San Francisco 49ers at No. 7? What about the New Orleans Saints at No.12, Buffalo Bills at No.19, New York Jets at No. 20, Arizona Cardinals at No. 29 or Denver Broncos at No. 31?
Any or all are in the market for a quarterback in this year's draft. How many will be selected in the first round and where on Thursday night?
One intriguing name that has been shooting up the NFL Draft Board as of late is “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove. Yes, that “Handsome Half-breed”. Not since 30-something QB Paul Blake jumped on the scene with The Texas State University Fightin' Armadillos has a name caught fire as much among NFL Owners, General Managers, and Coaches, as “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove.
Recent NFL “Mock” Drafts has this member of The Unholy Alliance moving up the Draft Board ever since the announcement of him entering the Trios Cup Tournament with fellow Unholy Alliance Members, CJ Phoenix and Cormack MacNeill.
The NFL Network’s Draft Guru, Mike Maylock, along with ESPN’s Draft Guru, Mel Kiper Jr. has released their dual scouting report of the top, hot prospect, and Arli$$ Michaels Management Client, “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove.
SHADOWLOVE
Handsome Half-breed Quarterback
Height: 6’4" Weight: 235
Hometown: Parts Unknown (México City, México until Sunday anyways)
Mental State University Straight Jackets
OVERVIEW
Sans the recent rise and fall of former Cleveland Browns and Heisman trophy winning QB Johnny “Football” Manziel, “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove likely would have been considered one of the most sure-thing prospects in the past decade if it wasn't for Seth Lerch and the WCF nabbing him with a multi-year contract. Shadowlove is a prototypical pro-style quarterback and “franchise” wrestler who can make all the line calls, formation shifts, pass drops, and throws necessary to be successful at the next level. Shadowlove will likely be the top pick overall and start immediately, and possesses all the intangibles to be a “franchise” stalwart for years to come.
ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS: Shadowlove’s intangibles are what set him apart from any other talented quarterbacks. As an multidimensional athlete, Shadowlove has all the traits of a franchise wrestler. Shadowlove is tough, durable and willing to step into a throw with oncoming rushers breathing down his back. He has a deliberate set-up with no wasted motions and has really developed and showcased the ability to play from many different looks while at Mental State University. He developed under the tutelage of Paul Crewe, Johnny Utah and Shane Falco, three people who know all about quarterbacks. Shadowlove has the size to take a hit, and the athletic ability to get outside and make plays happen with his feet. Once on the move, Shadowlove makes his second and third reads with ease. Shadowlove has a very compact and quick release, and he is able to fire it out to the flats with ease off one-step drops in the short passing game. The most intriguing aspect of Shadowlove's career was the amount of mistakes he made, a number which only continued to decrease throughout his career. Shadowlove rarely forces a ball into tight coverage. Shadowlove rarely makes any mistakes on and off the field. Shadowlove is a strong, natural, competitive, athletic quarterback.
WEAKNESSES: One would be hard-pressed to find negatives to Shadowlove's game. There are no glaring weaknesses in his play, and while some could argue he isn't the athlete that Cam Newton is, that isn’t his game. Shadowlove displays the athleticism necessary to excel as a technical passer. There are times when Shadowlove second-guessed passes and simply didn't see a breaking corner coming from another zone, but for the most part Shadowlove works to identify and improve on his weaknesses.
