The scene opens with Freezer Burn sitting in his private study. Several television monitors litter the north wall, all of them showing different scenes of the same man, One Eddie Felt. Some of the scenes depict Eddie with his Pride allies in various training videos and matches, The screens are set in loops to show a specific move or series of moves or situations involving Eddie Felt.
Serujah is strutting herself around wearing something that looks like saran wrap which covers everything but hides nothing. She moves along in front of the screens, intentionaly bending over to distract Freeze from his studies with little affect. She has a banana in one hand, doing things with her mouth that would be considered obscene in some cultures and downright softcore pornographic in others. She slowly suckles the tip of the fruit while doing her best 'cutsey' schoolgirl pose which allows the saran wrap to stretch thin, making everytihng underneath even more visible.
Getting nowhere with her attempted distraction, Serujah discards the half eaten banana and commences with the line she's used a thousand times and more.
Serujah: Come on.. just FUCK me..
Freezer Burn: No.
So much for the big huge speach. Before that plane crash retired him, Freeze was well known for hour long speeches to make a simple point, but since then he's taken for using very short answers. She was almost suprised that he responded with anything more than a grunt or a shrug of his shoulder.
Serujah: Please fuck me..
Freezer Burn: No.
Serujah: You've been staring at these screens for hours.. you need a break.
She leans toward Freeze, a crooked, mischevious grin on her lips.
Serujah: I'll do it any way you want.
Freezer Burn: No.
Serujah: You can do me anyway you..
Freezer Burn: No.
Serujah: Why not? And don't say it has anything at all to do with me being the mother of your grandchildren.
Freezer Burn: Hank .. Brown ..
In her own moment of desperation, she had brought Hank Brown into Freezer Burn's Iowa mansion, tied him to her bed, and rode him like a government mule. His lack of sexual performance disgusted her, and she still felt sick to her stomach whenever she thought about how big a waste of her time and sexual prowess Hank Brown turned out to be. Now, her mentor was even using that as another excuse not to have her.
Her sexual energy deflated, leaving her with that empty pit in her stomach, the regret of another thing in her past.
Serujah: Fine. Don't fuck me.
Freezer Burn: Wasn't planning on it.
She sat in a chair next to his and looked at the monitors.
Serujah: Have you discovered anything about him?
Freezer Burn: Oh yeah. He's a conspiracy theorist, which likely means that he's smart, moreso than most other wrestlers. His strength is in brawling, but he has a few moves that are technical and power related. Probably trying to make himself more versatile in the ring, which is not a bad idea. It will definately benefit him long term.
He struggles when grounded. Plenty of fight but struggles with matt wrestling. He still manages to keep a clear head and think his way through, but not before the damage is done.
I can't say he's the week link in Pride. He's got the tools and the mind, but doesn't fully understand yet how to apply it to maximum affect. Someday he could be a true ring general, but for now he's like a Corporal learning the ropes. A future general in the ring.
Any problems I have will be Ethan King. After their loss to Beach Krew, or whatever they call themselves, Pride will be looking to regain momentum or proving their worth, so I could be a target just becouse of that. Especially with the Trios Cup so close.
As for Eddie's moves themselves, he uses a running knee strike to the face to finish off his opponents. 'The Truth is Out There' he calls it. A formidable move, but one I've seen and dealt with before. Saw a guy use a variant of it before, crushed the other guys face. Took surgery to put him together and he couldn't risk wrestling anymore.
Then again, I've got a metal plate in my forehead thanks to that damned plane crash. If his aim is off, he could be the one in trouble. But I'm no fool either. I have a few counters in mind that would make him think twice about using that finisher of his.
Serujah: There is more to it.
Freeze gives Seru a curious look.
Serujah: Teo extended an invitation to you and Eddie Felt for the whole .. trios thing.
Freezer Burn: Really? For the Trios Cup? This complicates things.
Serujah: Griffin is on hiatus, but Tiffany White tossed her name in to join the Pride, although permanant or just for the Trios Cup, I don't know.
Freezer Burn: OK, this slightly uncomplicates things.
Serujah: OK, Freezey, spill the beans. Put them thoughts out in the open.
Freezer Burn: Not likely for Eddie to Join with Teo, since Pride now has a third. But me and Teo still make a good pairing, I think. Now we need ourselves the third. Still have my match with Eddie this weekend and the possibility of Ethan King getting involved. Have that match with CJ Phoenix coming up. Trios Cup. The other Phoenix situation. My title shot to cash in. Many possibilities.
CJ Phoenix is in for a hell of a time. How well can he handle bleeding? How can he handle changing rules? How can he handle no rules? How can he handle someone experienced in violence? During a violent match? I'm getting to the point here where I don't really care which of us wins, the fun of it all is in itself .. exhilerating.
Tiffany White has herself a match to keep herself occupied as does Ethan King. So requesting to turn my singles match into a tag might be turned down just to avoid double duty from the others. Give me and Teo a chance to tag up, valuable experience leading to Trios Cup. But that won't stop either or both of them from interfering in my match.
Serujah: Ethan gave his blessing to Team Random Chance.
Freezer Burn: Interesting. So does Eddie work with Pride, Team Random Chance, or is he attempting double duty? Still, you don't get into King's position without having a good plan or two, and I wouldn't be suprised if his plan involves either success or failure for me indirectly becouse of Teo. Being that Teo is slightly above par with King to begin with. But which way will he go? Give Ethan King the right kind of motivation, he could be world champion material in a heartbeat. Same could be true for Teo.
Serujah: Don't forget Tommy.
Freezer Burn: Tomohawk? His training isn't yet finished. He's not ready for WCF.
Serujah: Ringside enforcer?
Freezer Burn: No, best to keep him under wraps. 'HE' needs to be the one to decide when he's ready for the WCF. I can tell him he's ready, but until he decides it, positive thinking and morale kinda thing, until he decides it for himself he could be doomed to be a mediocre competitor without ever living up to his true potential.
Serujah: He's a 6' 9" flying powerhouse. He knocked you flat with that knife-edge chop, and nobody's done that before. With a knife-edge chop of all things!
Freezer Burn: True .. then again me and Teo do need a third, with Eddie Felt being such a wildcard at this point, and this would be a good setup to transition into the WCF for Tomohawk. That is .. IF .. Tomohawk feels he's ready.
Serujah: Need me to talk to him?
Freezer Burn: Talk .. Seru. Talk to him about it. Don't molest him like you did the DIWF roster back in the day.
Serujah: It wasn't the whole roster!
Freezer Burn: Name one person on that roster you DIDN'T have sex with.
Serujah: ... well .. you.
Freezer Burn: Yeah, exactly my point. Which is why I won't endorse you into the WCF. The nasty things Kat Phoenix would give you will ensure no man will ever touch you again .. sexually.
Serujah: I thought it was becouse I am raising your grandkids?
Freezer Burn: THAT .. is your excuse for not joining. Not mine. You're an adult. If you wanted to wrestle again, you would, and you wouldn't be needing any permission from me or anyone else.
And Freezer Burn is right. It was her excuse not to be a wrestler. As much as she loved being in the ring, she loves her children more. And the WCF is not a safe place to be raising children.
Serujah: I'll go talk to Tommy.
Freezer Burn: And how will you convince him?
Serujah: If I'm not allowed to molest him, I'll just have him molest me.
And with that, Serujah walks off. Jokes on her though, Tommy won't even touch a woman unless she's got native blood. Pride of the Cherokee and such. And with Serujah off to a mission doomed to failure, Freeze could go back to the training videos and preperation for everything he has coming up.
Freezer Burn: Can they be trusted?
