If you press the thumbs up button on a message on the twitter board. Is it IC thumbing up or OOC thumbing up?

If we are going to pretend that WCF stars all have twitter accounts and post to twitter, then likes would be IC because that is a feature on twitter. Whereas liking a roleplay or an OOC posts would not be IC.
When you "quote" on the twitter boards it's the same as a retweet, likes and dislikes are both functions of twitter, which is what we ICLY are supposed to be using as our characters. They wouldn't apply ICly anywhere else but there.

Twitter is supposed to be in character. If I went to actual twitter right now, I could see if someone liked my posts. If we are supposed to be using these boards in the style of us as "WCF wrestlers" actually using the medium, why would it not be in character?

Well, let's see what everyone else thinks? But I mean, Johnny Rabid like a ton of posts that he finds funny regardless of who posts them, and he certainly doesn't get along with a lot of people IC

Actually, yeah, its kinda typical for people to use it in character. Also, plenty of it IS canon. Jared utilized a bit of my reactions to photoshopped pictures of me in his shoot when we fought, plus KL Henson and I bring up things said on twitter in our RPs and in the show all the time.

This hobby is already nerdy enough without worrying about stuff like this.
Your character is your character. If you say she didn't like the post, then she didn't. If that's not a good enough explanation for some people, just pull a Kurt Angle and say your Twitter account was hacked. Boom. Problem solved.

THUMBS UP ARE OUT OF CHARACTER
They do not count for your character liking a post. It is THE HANDLER liking the post.
Official statement. Not because I'm IT champ but because I almost got suspended for it.
Don't ask.
It was with Jay Price.
we kissed.
we made up.
we kissed some more.

Honestly I've done both. I thumb up things my character would like and I thumb up things I liked. I always took it as if the person who liked it is friendly to your character or you are agreeing with them IC it's the character thumbing it up. If I'm arguing with someone IC on twitter, I'll thumb up some things they say cause its funny, and I've always took and meant that as its me the handler who likes it.
I hope this makes sense.

Thumbs up either way. If I'm a face and someone has a match with me and shows respect, I IC thumbs up. If someone says something I find really funny, I'll thumbs up no matter what most of the time.

It's all OOC to me. If I like something IC, I find a way to respond through an IC post, but not with the thumb.

How 'bout your put your thumbs up your asses HOW YOU DOIN Unrelated to this post, but if this was back in the early 2000s, every wrestler that wasn't an Undertaker ripoff would now likely be an Enzo Amore ripoff. I imagine other places are flooded with his picbase as we speak.

Somehow, I can't look at this and take it seriously whatsoever being as the person posting it uses more OOC shit for their work than they do IC shit.

I like things ICly; I consider it the same as people favoriting tweets on Twitter. Hell, I think it speaks to the complexity of a character's personality if they "like" things from wreslters they don't like; just because you don't get along doesn't mean you won't agree on some sentiments. But honestly, I don't give it too much thought.

All personal opinion. Not too much to worry about because you are never going to bring it up In character that so and so liked a tweet, it is just a little detail that helps the character if it is IC. Personally, my liking is OOC. I prefer to 'react' if I want to make a note of it in character.
blah blah blah, there is no right answer to this.
