"THE HANDSOME HALF-BREED" SHADOWLOVE LOSES TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH BUT HIS POPULARITY KEEPS GROWING!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: If you want to understand why “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove might go down as the one of the most influential wrestlers in the history of sports entertainment, maybe even one of the most influential wrestlers to ever ply his trade in the World Championship Federation, you can’t begin inside the squared-circle.
A few hours after being defeated by the “New” WCF Television Champion, Tiffany White, “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove, along with his personal bodyguard/valet Ms. Miyamoto, chose to visit the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Where “The Dynamic Duo” visited with avid WCF Galaxy fans, Seymour, and his wife Apple, Buttz and their twins.
In the months leading up to the birth of their twins, daughter Badunkadonk and son “little” Enos, Seymour daydreamed about wrestling in the WCF the way so many young, first-time fathers do. When he closed his eyes, he could see the three of them, years from now, laughing and roughhousing in the backyard ring. He imagined teaching the twins the basic suplexes and body slams, double teams, how to shrug off chair shots. His parental anxieties were overwhelmed by the dual joys of anticipation and excitement of people liking the “BIG” Buttz twins.
Reality, however, is almost always more complicated than daydreams. In a series of sonograms late in his wife Apple’s pregnancy, doctors spotted a few abnormalities they said "concerned them." One of the twins was developing an improperly developed kidney. Sonograms, they warned the Buttz, can be part science, part guesswork, so it was difficult to say what it might mean when they were born. Doctors urged Seymour and Apple to focus on the positive, not the unknown negative? The doctors first plan for Badunkadonk required different medications along with dialysis for her to stay healthy to prolong life to her and her kidneys. The Buttz family chose to celebrate Badunkadonk 10 year anniversary of staying healthy by attending the WCF pay-per-view, Explosion.
But in the early morning hours of March 27th, Badunkadonk needed to be rushed to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, the truth was obvious: Badunkadonk needed to be moved, right away, to the ICU. Her condition was worse than doctors initially feared, suffering end-stage renal failure and needing a transplant.
As the early morning unfolded for the Buttz as a stress-induced, semi-sleepless blur. Surgeons went to work fixing and sketching out a plan for how to fix her kidney. The Buttz learned to sleep, rarely for no more than 10 minutes at a time, sitting next to Badunkadonk’s bed. Nurses would shuffle in and out of the room at all hours, and soon the Buttz lost track of where the day began and night ended. At one point, one of the nurses noticed that Badunkadonk wasn't breathing, and an army of medical personnel swarmed into the room to snake a tube down his tiny throat and bring her back to life. Fortunately, her brother was the most compatible donor in the family.
Don’t worry, Badunkadonk survived. She and her brother survived the 13-hour kidney transplant surgery, but she wasn't out of danger. The weeks and months to come would be critical. It was well after midnight on Monday, March 28th, the Buttz were half asleep next to their daughter and son when two strangers walked into their ICU room. For a moment, Seymour and Apple wasn't sure if they were dreaming or imagining things. But then the strangers, “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove and his bodyguard/valet Ms. Miyamoto, did something the Buttz will never forget.
“The Dynamic Duo” hugged them.
Ms. Miyamoto told the Buttz that she and Shadowlove-san had heard about Badunkadonk and they'd been thinking about her a lot during the WCF Explosion PPV. They just wanted to stop by and let the Buttz know they were pulling for Badunkadonk, a real champion, and that she was his inspiration despite losing the Television Championship Match.
"I think we probably experienced about every different kinds of emotions imaginable," Seymour Buttz says. "Shock, disbelief, but most of all, pure genuine amazement. For someone of their statue to take time out even after his big loss to Tiffany White and enabling us to not think about everything we were going through can’t really be put into words. They greeted us like we were family. I'd heard about these sort of visits but to see them walking through that door of the ICU even after the bad night that they obviously had and you just knew that they were the truely something special. It is easy to see why fans are getting behind Shadowlove in his struggles early on in his career: despite what seems to be his reckless personality, he seems so down to earth, in a humbling, yet gracious kind of way, that with his charm and charisma, you still know he is one of the most polarizing, self-centered, egotistical, narcissistic, politically incorrect, self-righteous sonivabitches in WCF History.”
Dr. Doug Ross, chief surgeon and head of Pediatrics Medicine, was skeptical when he first heard about the “Rookie” Sensation entering the ICU of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, unsolicited, asking if there was anything he could do to help by spending time with the Buttz family. Dr. Ross felt he'd done this dance with professional athletes before, and it frequently resulted in a few awkward, superficial photo ops and eventual disappointment. Most of the staff had heard of “The Dynamic Duo” but to see them live and in living color was something very incredible.
"We didn't believe it at first," says Dr. Ross, "Some athletes, especially wrestlers, seem to have it written into their contracts to do charity appearances, and so it's easy for them to select a Children’s Hospital. Typically, we see them once for about 10 or 15 minutes and that's about it. But ‘The Dynamic Duo’ stayed the night with the Buttz family until Badunkadonk and “Little” Enos recovered and woke up from surgery in post-op. I’m no psychiatrist, but I believe that it took them away from the regular chaos of life in the WCF. But what they really wanted, they admitted, was to spend time with every family in a one-on-one setting. Something that would allow them to have real conversations with all the families, if only for 30 minutes. I was stunned. “The Dynamic Duo” didn't want publicity, they preferred to keep it relatively quiet. A lot of people hear about visits like this and they start speculating what the real motive really is. It's almost too good to be true. But it's really this simple: They were raised right, and they are blessed with amazing morals and ethics.”
The WCF Galaxy’s love affair with “The Dynamic Duo”, which began almost by accident, has intensified with every passing week, win or lose. The WCF Galaxy already hangs on their every word, even though the “Dynamic Duo” rarely says anything even remotely controversial. The WCF is obsessed over every minor little thing that “The Dynamic Duo” do. Even those “Brand” name wrestlers inside the realm of the World Championship Federation are beginning to hold “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove up as a symbol of pride, a worthy ambassador who embodies the best qualities of their organization.
They know that “The Handsome Halfbreed” Shadowlove, along with his personal bodyguard/valet Ms. Miyamoto are the complete package. He's an absolute playmaker, and she has intoxicating elegance. He's at the top of his class in a whole new generation of exciting, multidimensional wrestlers that have what it takes to be a big name in the WCF. He's got all the best leadership traits but doesn't define himself by any of them. He can be religious without going full Tim Tebow. He's multidimensional on his outtakes of both wins and loses and flashy without kissing anyone's ass. The WCF Galaxy just hopes that “The Dynamic Duo” stays healthy long enough to get the giant payday that they both deserve. The WCF Galaxy hopes that “The Handsome Half-breed” Shadowlove, along with his personal bodyguard/valet remains in the WCF for “The Dynamic Duo’s” entire career.
