The scene begins outside what look to be ruins of a very large city. Completely isolated, on the shelf of a mountain, snow covering the very tips of that mountain. The city is crumbling, and has mould all over it. A few birds fly through the air, twittering happily as they fly and twirl playfully in and out of the holes in the walls and roofs of the city. The entrance to the massive city has a large archway, which is the only thing not crumbling – it looks as if it has been erected more recently than the city, although it is still old, as the report states that the archway was erected by the people who explored the city about a thousand years ago, although even the report is vague, as not much is known. The report, written by Skyler Striker almost half a year ago, details the inscription on the archway to say ‘you can’t win’. However, Skyler’s last visit here to decry jack of Blades now means that the inscription has been crossed out, and in the same runes has been written ‘watch me’. Standing outside the archway, his second visit, is Skyler Striker, dressed in his usual black and maroon attire. He walks into the city and takes a left turn, going in the opposite direction he went last time. He arrives in a room full of murals, all of which are about a fight between a king and a defender, the story Skyler uncovered last time. Skyler walks up to one of the gaps in the wall and goes to lean on it, but the brick falls through, revealing another chamber. Skyler pushes the remaining bricks aside and walks through, revealing a room he did not know existed before.
SS: The real story… everything else was a lie?
The murals depict the real version of the story – where Hero WAS the defender, and the king simply came in and slaughtered every last man except Hero/defender.
SS: No. I will not believe this. I have not been living a lie! No!
Skyler yells out with such rage and ferocity that if anyone who has ever seen Dragonball Z before looked in, they would have seen Skyler turn into a super saiyan. Skyler yells out no again before rushing to the top floor at the grand tower. Here, he collapses in a corner, crying like a baby.
SS: Danny Vice… he saw this coming. And I thought I was the secure one. How is this animal inside me supposed to defend against something like that?
Skyler gets an insane notion inside his head and stands, turning towards the gap in the tower which leads to the outside. Skyler sits on the ledge, easily a hundred feet above the ground, and slides himself off it, falling.
[[Don’t be stupid, Skyler.]]

[[One? You think this is about One? You think your life revolves around this point?]]

Skyler regains consciousness on the ground. No broken bones, no injuries whatsoever. Running through Skyler’s mind, however, is a string of thoughts which he repeats slowly, as if they are being typed into his brain.
SS: The Fatebringer was a lie… the fury Crusader was a mistake… the Animal doesn’t exist… so who are you now, Skyler?
Skyler shakes his head, looking out at the city.
SS: Who am I? Who am I?
Skyler stands, and says calmly to himself:
