WCF Hardcore Champion, Katherine Phoenix announced today that she will be working alongside a new nationwide anti-bullying campaign “Be Smart, Don’t Start”.
The mission of “Be Smart, Don’t Start” is to ensure a positive social environment for everyone in the WCF regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation. “Be Smart, Don’t Start” will promote positive methods of social interaction and encourage people to treat others as equals and with respect.
Katherine Phoenix recently spoke with TMZ Sports while promoting the new campaign in Colorado Springs, Colorado
Katherine spoke about the new anti-bullying campaign, and how she felt to be involved with it. You can read a few excerpts below:
"Every seven minutes a wrestler is bullied. It’s time to stop that. We must stand up to these bullies within the WCF and show them that they do not have a voice and never will again” said Katherine Phoenix.
“Bullying is unacceptable, but even more important… it is preventable. I am very happiful to be involved with the ‘Be Smart, Don’t Start’ campaign and I will not rest until our vision is met preventing bullying throughout the WCF”.
Why do people bully others?
"There are many reasons why people bully others. It could be because they’re unhappiful and are taking it out on someone else. They could have confidence issues, they could be attention seeking or they could just be feeling jealous of someone or something.
In some cases some bullies might even be going through hard times behind closed doors and only require a hug to stop them being miserable and grrrrrrr.
But recently I have noticed that one of the main reasons bullying seems to be going on is because these bullies are getting encouraged to do so by their friends and they don't want to be left out.
Bonnie Blue, Andre Holmes and the rest of their friends think that it is funny to pick on #BeachKrew, who only hope to make the world a better place. Please do not tolerate this. Bonnie Blue picking on Johnny Rabid is not only her bullying him, it is also sexual harassment and this is very very naughty. Sexual harassment is not funny. It is extremely serious and with Andre Holmes already under fire for sexually assaulting WCF ring announcer, Christine Hemie, this can and will only mean bad things for Rebellution.
If your friends are encouraging you to do something you know is wrong, do not do it. Stand up for yourself because if these "friends" are doing this to you, chances are they were never your friends in the first place".
What should you do if you see someone being bullied?
"If you witness somebody being a bully, whether in a promo, on social media or even in the ring... it is important to do something. Don't just walk away and ignore it. Tell the bullies to stop doing it, do not be afraid because most if not all bullies are just cowards anyway.
Do not sit in silence, talk to someone. Katherine Phoenix is here to help. Together we can stop bullying and make the WCF a happier, friendlier place".

See now this here is a perfect example of someone who appears all mean and grrrrrrr on the outside but on the inside they're hurting more than anyone  See currently Joey Flash here is going through the grieving process because his son was killed it isn't a nice thing at all to go through and sometimes unhappiful peoples take it out on everyone surrounding them Joey if you need any assistance with anything during your grieving process please do not hesitate to contact #BeSmartDontStart or #TheOblivionFoundation together we can create a brighter future for you and what remains of your family <3

Andy I have never bullied anyone in my life and neither have #BeachKrew. You seem to have this super bizarre hatred of women which doesn't make any sense at all since you have two lovely daughters. Ummmmmm, no... this isn't opposite day Bonnie Bear. Don't try and act all innocent now you've been bullying me for weeks despite me only ever trying to be your friend. I told you I wouldn't stand for it anymore so when I was approached with this I jumped at the opportunity. We need to stop the bullying! It isn't nice!
