I gotta hand it to Wade, congratulations are in order, every one of the Krew risked life and limb to walk out with their belts intact and the Krew united.
But I feel I must point out that to call a clean sweep is....overlooking something.
Overlooking the fact that Kyle Kemp and Teo del Sol brought the house DOWN before the card had a chance to get started- and though mr. Kemp did not make it easy... The People's title is still where it belongs.

Now, I don't believe you're giving my statement proper analysis, if we're being fair. It is true that I did not mention that my brothers stole the show back by the time that curtain got pulled- yet this is not a show of disrespect.... I just wanted to let them have the chance to speak for themselves.
See, People's choice isn't like Beach Krew where we have some kind of hierarchy where one man gives the team's blanket viewpoint. We are one and equal, and I would not take the 5-star ladder match that my brothers put on and not let them have the first chance to bask in the glory of what they accomplished, win or lose.
But sure, keep calling me self-centered. You'll see just how close the People's Choice is come Sunday.

I would know, because while I've had some nice successes, I've fallen on my ass quite a few times too. Sometimes against people much higher up than me and sometimes against people like my rival Kyle Kemp who has come to prove himself as a viable competitor with what I will admit has been impressive. Me, Teo, Vic..we all bring something valuable to the table. Me and Vic? We are the first and only two guys to hold both the tag and trios championships. Teo? Teo has done something with the People's Championship that has admittedly far surpassed my run with the belt. I don't think this is discouragement for any of us. You know what you do with losses like me and Vic had? You look at what you did good and go out and try to improve on that for the next time. One was your night, but there are positives to take from everything. 2015 saw us climb from inexperienced rookies to respectable competitors. There's always tomorrow and that's the shit we're looking towards. Go ahead, keep talking trash, it is the nature of the game after all, but just know that you're talking to a game that brought great interest back to team divisions. We respect you and you don't respect us. Whatever. This is the prime of most of our careers here and in a decade or two when we're past that prime and looking back, we will all understand that respect and what everything meant. |
