WCF Wednesday Night
August 26th, 2015
Live from the WCF Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania
With no music, just the roar of the crowd that has packed the WCF Arena, WCF Wednesday Night opens with a shot of Freddy Whoa standing in the middle of the ring.
Crowd: WHOA-OH-OH-OH! WHOA-OH-OH-OH! WHOA-OH-OH-OH!
Freddy Whoa: Welcome...TO WCF WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
The crowd pops.
Freddy Whoa: We've once again got a great show for you tonight. We're just days away from Revenge, live only on the WCF Network, so you know the WCF roster is hyped. So let's hear you make some noise!
More pops. Crowd loves Wednesday Night.
Freddy Whoa: Now let's get this show rolling!
The show goes to a video package full of footage of the WCF roster.
Buzz Worthy Segment
*The viewer sees the smiling face and dimpled chin of Bryan “Buzz” Worthy. He has on his lime green WCF blazer over a shirt and tie, and is sitting at a desk counter in one of the fed’s stock interview studios.*
Buzz: Greetings. Welcome to “Worthy of Discussion.” The purpose of this show, which can be seen only on the WCF Network, is to gather together a veritable “Who’s Who” of the sport of professional wrestling, and with me acting as moderator summarize and analyze the key events of the Wrestling Championship Federation. This week, on our inaugural episode, the topic will be the upcoming “Revenge” Pay Per View, which can also be seen on the WCF Network. “Revenge” is stacked, with four championships on the line in addition to a couple of hotly contested matches between wrestlers who have been at odds for reasons that go beyond titles and the winner’s share of the purse. Helping me break down the card tonight is a man who will be competing at Revenge: WCF superstar Kyle Kemp.
*The camera pans over to show Kemp wearing a light gray 3 piece suit with a white dress shirt and a pink tie. His hair is done perfectly and he is wearing black Rayban sunglasses.*
Kyle: With this being your first show here Buzz I have to correct you. I am not just a WCF superstar but I am the best wrestler in this company. You need to show some respect and sit back and thank God himself that I decided to grace your first edition of this show with my presence because my opinion is the only one that matters here. That is because it's the best opinion. The only opinion.
*Back to Buzz, who’s still smiling like the pro he is.*
Buzz: What I’d like to do now is preview the show match by match, starting with the opener. Three newly minted tag teams will be in competition: Vic Venable and Sin Rostro Jr. versus CJ Sharpe and Cletus T. Clyde versus Ace Maverick and Wolf. The latter two men will be debuting in the WCF at “Revenge”, with “The Hardcore Hitman” and Cletus only barely ahead of them in the tenure department. Sin Rostro Jr had a brief run with the company last winter, and Vic Venable, a former Television Champion, the closest thing to a WCF veteran in the group. It should be interesting to see who among these three pairings has the most success. As far as I can tell, it is the first time any of them have tagged with their corresponding partner. It’s bound to be an exciting match though, given the mix of wrestling styles and psychologies.
Kyle: Just say what it is Buzz. It's a match to let the late arriving crowd find their seats. The crowd that has been standing at the back entrances waiting to get a glimpse of Kyle Kemp as he walks in the door. Nobody cares about anyone in this match and I know that I could care less. The only one in this matchup that remotely interests me is Ace Maverick and that is only because he seems to be invading on my turf. There is only one man good looking young stud in this company and you're looking at him. If
you're asking me for a winner then I would say whichever audience member gets stuck in the restroom line and misses this match.
Buzz: WCF follows the tag team match with some singles competition. The mysterious powerhouse wrestler Legion faces off against Dustin Beaver. The former pop star impersonator had a surprisingly strong showing in last week’s “Over the Top Rope Battle Royale” War Preview, surprising many of the experts, and confounding WCF’s owner Seth Lerch, when he and Legion eliminated one another simultaneously at the end of the match so that there would be no true winner. No such chance of that happening Sunday, when Beaver pits his high flying prowess and technical skill against the strength and savagery of the Stranger from Paradise, Legion in a one on one contest.
Kyle: I don't know where I seem to recognize Beaver from but I do know this....he seems to be a bit of a douchebag which is good. He's got the right attitude for this company. I'm gonna pick him simply for that.
Buzz: After Legion/Beaver there is another tag match that pits Angels of Death members Night Rider and Denise D’evil against another random pairing: the debuting Riddlebox and my “Worthy of Discussion” co-host for this evening, Kyle Kemp. This is especially surprising given that Riddlebox, a disgruntled clown turned wrestler, had been taunting Kemp in previous weeks with mysterious wordplay and gimmicked packages of exploding confetti. You have to admit, Kyle, given the animosity between you and your partner and the fact you’ve never tagged with him before, you and Riddlebox are going to be at an extreme disadvantage going into this match. Night Rider and D’evil have partnered in the ring many times before, and both are former WCF Champions. Denise has won the People’s and Hardcore, and Tag Team Titles. Night Rider has won the People’s Title once and the Tag Team titles twice, once with Jeff Purse, and once with the woman he will be working with Sunday. You and your new partner have a tough job ahead of you, I think.
Kyle: First of all I don't need a partner to show Night Rider or Denise whose boss. They both have seen me in action and they both know that they aren't in my league. As far as Riddlebox goes....I think it's a joke that he's my partner. I know that Seth is having quite the laugh about this in the office and that's fine. I don't care who my partner is. Cream always rises to the top and I'm the cream in this tag team. If Riddlebox knows whats good for him, he'll stand on the apron and leave the winning to me.
Buzz: The People’s Championship will be defended Sunday at Revenge. Spencer Adams, fresh off his first title defense against Zombie McMorris, faces an as yet unknown challenger. Many are speculating “The Antidote’s” opponent will be McMorris once again, given that their previous match ended by disqualification, allowing Adams to retain. Other possible candidates include Dustin Beaver, Vic Venable, Riddlebox, and once again, the man to my left, Kyle Kemp. Up to compete twice on one show, Kyle?
Kyle: It's not if I'm up for it but if the WCF wants to make money. Seth Lerch knows that the best way to get this event to get the buy rates that he wants is for me to be on the show as much as possible. I know that I can fight twice in one night, it's just up to Seth to let me. What makes this more interesting is the fact that it's against Spencer Adams. I know that Adams wants to face anyone but me. I've politely left him alone since Ultimate Showdown but the time is now for me to get my revenge. It is time for me to take the one thing that he holds dear to him. It's time for Kyle Kemp to become People's Champ.
Buzz: Two returning members of Pantheon team up to face a pair of strong contenders in our next match. Former World Champion and future Hall of Famer Jeff Purse gets back in the ring with prodigal son Jay Omega against the unlikely duo of Jonathan White and the Ultimate Destroyer. Fenix has been champing at the bit recently, demanding new and better competition. Well, he will get it at Revenge. As for his tag team partner, his wants and needs remain forever unchanged: creating havoc in the squared circle.
Kyle: This is a joke right? Is this a real match? Am I being "swerved"? No? Ok well this one's easy. Purse and Omega hands down. Fenix is gonna realize what his real place in this company is and Destroyer is a chump. I proved that myself just a couple weeks ago.
Buzz: The feud between the Dark Riders Gang and the Angels of Death intensifies as current Trios Champion Doug Murdock faces off against the Monster Oblivion in a First Blood Match. The younger Murdock brother has been building a strong case for himself as a Contender for the Television Title by defeating an impressive array of WCF superstars in recent weeks. But can he beat the beast at the game he plays best? No one in this company’s history has more success in Hardcore matches than Oblivion, who has won the title eight times. IT is no stranger to contests where the goal is to make your opponent bleed. Can Doug “The Thug’s” skill and athleticism overcome the unmatched power and brutal instincts of The Hardcore God?
Kyle: No. Doug is far from a thug. He's nothing more than a charity case. The only reason he is here is because Gonzo pulled a few strings before he disappeared. Oblivion is going to show Doug what a thug really looks like. He's gonna get put down in a pool of his own blood while Oblivion laughs above him.
Buzz: Since appearing in the company earlier this month the “party hard, hit harder” faction #BeachKrew have been running rampant, targeting other wrestlers with sneak attacks and group beatdowns. Two such victims were Mitch “El Mejor” Morales and his tag team partner Derek Moreno. Twice in as many weeks they were attacked by #BeachKrew. Things came to a head Sunday when Morales was severely injured during the assault, forcing WCF to cancel Mejor Redemption’s tag match against ‘Krew members Andre Aquarius and Los Tiburones. This act brought out Seth Lerch to issue an ultimatum: Los Tiburones MUST face Derek Moreno at Revenge. If he does not compete, the entire group will be fired. If #BeachKrew interferes during the match in any way, Los Tiburones will be fired. The stakes for #BeachKrew are high in this contest, and you have to know Derek Moreno will be extremely motivated to get some payback against the shark-masked malefactor.
Kyle: Los Tiburones. No question. This guy and the rest of #Beachkrew have made quite the impact so far and it's because they have taken a page right out of the ol Kyle Kemp playbook. Kick ass and rub people's face in the fact that you are kicking their ass. While some might say otherwise, there is no room in this business for pandering to the crowd or trying to do things the right way. The only way to do business is to win. That's what Los Tiburones is gonna do.
Buzz: Next up is a Triple Threat Match where the winner is guaranteed a shot at the United States Title at some point in the future. The participants are three of WCF’s finest: JP Caliban, Raymond Hatcher, and Alex Richards. In the ring, these men could not be more different. Caliban favors a high risk aerial assault method of wrestling, while Hatcher is noted for his ground game. And Richards, who may weigh more than both of his opponents combined, is one of the strongest competitors on the roster. However, one thing all three men have in common is the desire to own WCF gold. Alex Richards is a multi-time Champion who is on the record as saying he wants to add winning the US Title to his already impressive list of accomplishments. Caliban, a former Internet Champion who can proudly state he is one of the few men in WCF history to have pinned the great Natural ICE Beckman, is a man with a definite chip on his shoulder and something to prove. And what better way could Raymond Hatcher demonstrate he is truly “The Real Deal” than by becoming a contender for and taking the title from one of the hottest performers currently in the sport, the current US Champion David Sanchez. That is, assuming Sanchez himself still has the title after Revenge.
Kyle: Who cares? You've got a no name in Caliban who thinks he can just walk right back into this company and call the shots and for some reason he gets placed into a number one conteners match on a pay per view, I declare collusion! As far as Hatcher and Richards go, they're both pathetic. Richards is desperately grasping for straws right now after losing both the Internet and People's Championship. Hatcher looks lost walking around here and somehow walked into this match. Whoever wins this doesn't stand a chance in winning the US Title.
Buzz: Last week at Slam current Internet Champion Scarecrow seemingly turned his back on Pantheon and joined the family of the group’s long-time nemesis Buddy Roman. To go along with this stunning change of alignments was his challenge against relative newcomer Wade Moor. Moor, an old enemy of Scarecrow’s from before he joined WCF, has been targeting ‘Crow since he and the rest of #BeachKrew arrived. Now the two will attempt to settle the score in a Last Man Standing Match, the goal of which is to keep your opponent from answering a ten count. Whoever emerges the victor in this contest will having bragging rights in this newest permutation of WCF’s ongoing stables war.
Kyle: Wade is gonna show this fool how business is done. Scarecrow can turn his back on Pantheon, his Mom, his fans and anyone else that has ever counted on him and it will all end the same way....with Scarecrow looking at the lights. Wade is a stud and I know that he will get the job done.
Buzz: Joey Flash versus Zombie McMorris is a surprising addition to the card. Flash, a current Tag Champion and former Television Title holder, was originally scheduled to wrestle for the World Championship at Revenge. Denied the chance to compete by the other participants’ legal teams, he instead will be facing his former Imperium stablemate. His loss is the WCF Universe’s gain, as we get this bonus match involving two of the sport’s best. I fully expect Joey Flash to try and take out his frustrations at being bumped from the Main Event on the coked up madman. His problem will be that the target for his ire is as an implacable a force you will find in WCF.
Kyle: Joey Flash. Team Handsome all the way. McMorris has been making idle threats towards both the People's and Internet Titles and all I have seen is the same guy that can't get it done when it counts. Flash is a douchebag and I love to pick douchebags.
Buzz: Hell in a Cell. There are not many matches in the sport of professional wrestling more ominous. The point of the construct is to keep the wrestlers caged in so that they can settle their grudges without hope for interference or escape. It will take such a design to imprison the shared fury of KL Henson and Gemini Battle, who have been engaged for weeks in a war of words and wits. Sunday, at Revenge, that war is over, and a new one begins. Henson vs Battle: Hell in a Cell. Can’t wait.
Kyle: I could care less about this match. This is just two "mysterious" guys trying to gain some popularity by fighting in a Hell in a Cell. Do you know who does not need to fight in this type of match? Me. Kyle Kemp is better than a Hell in a Cell and I'm better than both of these chumps and they both should be ashamed of themselves.
Buzz: Teo Del Sol earned the right to face Johnny Fly last week at Slam for the Television Title. The quick as a hiccup luchador will be in the fight of his career against one of the greatest wrestlers to grace a WCF ring. A three time Tag Team Champion, a three time TV Champion, and a four time World Champion, Fly has also been the last man standing at both War and Ultimate Showdown. His enshrinement in the WCF Hall of Fame is guaranteed. However, his recent record, by his high standards at least, is not so positive. Should this sign of relative weakness embolden Teo Del Sol as he goes into Revenge, or should the WCF Universe’s source of Sunshine be leery he is facing an extremely dangerous opponent who wants to regain his momentum as he goes into War?
Kyle: Teo will get what I should have given to him before I was screwed by a fast count by the referee last week. I should be in this match and be on the card 3 times instead of possibly 2. Fuck Teo. He will get exposed on Sunday.
Buzz: Few rivalries in WCF have been hotter recently than the one between “The Juggalo Warrior” Isaiah Chavis and current United States Champion David Sanchez. And the feud turned absolutely biblical Sunday when Chavis and his gang in greasepaint pantomimed crucifying “The Plague” on live television. Sanchez gets his chance at payback, appropriately, at Revenge, when he defends his title against Isaiah in a Hardcore Hell match. This is going to be classic, bloody battle against two men determined to grind the other under his heel.
Kyle: Sanchez will win and retain. The only reason is that I hate clowns and due to my predicament this Sunday I will not be showing any support for anyone that has anything to do with clowns. Sanchez wins.
Buzz: The Main Event of Revenge sees WCF World Champion Dune defend his belt against current Trios Champion Thomas Bates. Bates, a former United States and Television Title holder, was runner up in last month’s Ultimate Showdown, outlasting every participant except the Masked Man of the Mojave. Recent high profile defeats have made some question whether or not the Dark Riders Gang leader deserves this opportunity. I would point out losses to men with the talent of Howard Black and David Sanchez really isn’t anything to be ashamed of. As for Dune, a former Internet Champion and winner of the 2015 Trilogy Cup, this is another opportunity to solidify himself as the dominant force in WCF. He won the belt against the near unbeatable ICE Beckman at Asesinato de Mayo and carried it to and from Ultimate Showdown. Along the way he has fought off a murderer’s row of challengers: Deuce Murdock, um, BioWalker, Raymond Hatcher, Mikey Xtreme, Alex Richards, Scarecrow, Jay Omega, Howard Black, Jonny Fly, and…. Thomas Bates. Will a one and one match up between these two powerhouses have the same outcome? Or can Bates silence his critics by taking the World Championship from the heavily favored Dune? There hasn’t been a lot of back and forth between these two men in the weeks building to the match. Probably because they are saving their breaths for what is going to be a hard fought match for wrestling’s most coveted prize.
Kyle: Dune. I've said a few things about Thomas Urial Bates these past few weeks and I've meant every word. He thinks he's some kind of hero and someone that is going to take his shot and rise to stardom. The reality is is that this is where Bates gets exposed. This is where Bates falls and shows everyone that his recent decline isn't a bump in the road but it is what he really is. He is going to lose and continue looking like a chump.
Kyle: Is that everything? Can I go now? This show is run by idiots. I could run this show better than you Buzz. I'm Kyle Kemp. This time slot should belong to me. I'm a better host and I'm a better TV personality because I'm Kyle Kemp and I'm better than you!
*Kemp gets up and storms off the set*
*Buzz watches Kemp’s exit perplexedly. Then he turns back and addresses the viewer.*
Buzz: That concludes this episode of “Worthy of Discussion.” I’d like to thank my special guest, Kyle Kemp, for stopping by to help preview WCF’s upcoming “Revenge” Pay Per View, which will be broadcast live this Sunday night, August 30th, from New York’s historic Madison Square Garden. Contact your cable company on how to order the event, or subscribe to the WCF Network to get the show streamed directly to your computer, tablet, or mobile device. Visit WCF.com for more details on how to get this service. On behalf of everyone here at the Wrestling Championship Federation, this is Bryan Worthy, saying goodnight.
The video package fades out.
Alex Richards Segment
( The opening bars of Dangerous by Shaman's Harvest begins and Alex Richards walks towards the ring with a huge smile on his smile. He holds his doctor's bag in one hand and with the other he takes turns slapping hands, hugging, signing autographs, high fiving, and occasionally delivering a more good natured then used to hard slap to a fan's hand. He walks to the ring with what appears to be a purpose. )
Kyle Steel: Currently on the way to the ring, weighing in at 345 pounds and hailing from anyplace that needs pain, suffering, pills, or Zim-Quila... "The Archduke of Mass Confusion" Alex Richards!!!
Alex eventually enters the ring after killing a few good minutes amusing himself. He reaches into his doctor's bag and pulls out a microphone)
Alex Richards: Things haven't been going well for the Archduke lately. Things haven't been going well on Wednesday night lately for the Archduke. I think it's time to change things around. How am I going to do that? How about another round of Balls or No Balls?
The crowd cheers and begins to chant balls. They like chanting balls.
Alex Richards: This week I'll tell everyone, I'm in a bad mood, and I feel the need to prove something. So I'm issuing a challenge to anyone, anyone in the back to compete against me in a no disqualification match! Let's see who has balls!
Freddy Whoa: Alex Richards with a big open challenge here! That could be a dangerous idea with the amount of talent on the roster in the WCF!
Gravedigger: You know I just might get in there myself.
Freddy Whoa: Whoa! Now that would be a fight I'd like to see.
Gravedigger: But then who would carry the commentary around here? Leaving you by yourself Freddy? What a train wreck!
Freddy Whoa: We could get Zach out here if you want to fight...
Gravedigger: That's even worse!
No music hits but the short and skinny build of “Semi Star” Scotty Stevens walks towards the ring to no acclaim at all from the fans.
Freddy Whoa: This guy has been under contract for a few months and has yet to receive a match on the main card! It looks like he might be out here to accept the challenge!
Scotty enters the ring after taking the microphone from Kyle Steele and says his one line of the week.
Scotty Stevens: The semi star.... the one line wonder... HAS BALLS!
And with that Scotty tosses the mic at Alex Richards. It bounces off his chest doing no damage at all. The referee who was hanging out in the corner signals for the bell and Scotty unsure of what to do next is quickly steam rolled with a running big boot from Richards causing him to do a 450 flip and land on his back!
Freddy Whoa: Whoa! What a kick from The Archduke of Mass Confusion! He may might knocked this guy out already!
Alex drags Scotty back to his feet then presses him over his head walking around the ring to a loud cheer from the fans, Alex then starts chanting dump him which the crowd picks up before Alex dumps Stevens over the top rope to the arena floor!
Gravedigger: Alex Richards appears to be at least having some fun in there!
Alex drags Scotty to his feet kicks him in the gut then lifts him up for a powerbomb. He runs him head first right into the ring post with the Unconscious Truth! He rolls Stevens back into the ring and grabs a steel chair. Alex goes over and grabs the referee by the shirt in one hand, and drags Scotty back to his feet with the other.
Alex Richards: Now watch this ref! You might learn something! This... this is what happens when someone really gets hit with a steel chair!
Freddy Whoa: I didn't realize it before but that is the same referee from that controversial tag team match a few weeks ago. It seems Alex is still upset about his and the Scarecrow's disqualification.
Gravedigger: He's just a sore loser. Beach Krew schooled them.
Alex lets go of the ref and reaches back with the steel chair connecting with a vicious shot to the skull of Stevens instantly busting him open! Alex drags the likely already out Stevens to his feet and carries him to the top rope positioning him for a powerbomb dropping him out into the reverse Lung Blower!
Freddy Whoa: That's the Sanity Slip from Alex Richards! He makes a cover!
Kyle Steele: Your winner of the match, “The Archduke of Mass Confusion” Alex Richards!
Freddy Whoa: Mercifully this one is over! Alex has a mic though. Looks like he has something more to say.
Alex Richards: There is a time and a place for the good natured Alex Richards. But this is not the time, nor the place. Raymond Hatcher, Caliban, I hope you were watching, an old saying I used to live by seems fitting this week, actions speak louder. See you soon.
Dangerous begins to play again as Alex Richards exits the ring to a loud cheer from the crowd.
Freddy Whoa: That guy seems focused this week.
Gravedigger: There's a first time for everything I guess.
The show fades out to commercial.
Teo Del Sol Segment
The camera cuts to a feed, with the Gimansio del Sol looming in the foreground, standing before the gym, his mask glistening in the sun, is Teo del Sol! The Luchador is looking in very good spirits despite his upcoming match with the Television champion. He grins widely and waves into the camera.
“Hello WCF Faithful! Now you know there’s nothing in the world that I hate more than disappointing my fans, but you see, this week has presented me with a conundrum.
You see, this Sunday, at one of the biggest cards of the entire Summer, the show to be, the powers that be have smiled down upon this humble luchador and offered him a chance to avenge his loss to Joey Flash, to strike once again a blow against the diabolical teams of Flash and Fly, to prove once and for all that the Television title is held by the most deserving superstar on the roster, either by defeating the Iconic, untouchable Jonny fly, or by being beaten by him, either way! I want the people to be able to be proud of their Television Champion.
So, I regret that I cannot be here in person tonight, oh trust me, nothing would give me greater joy than to be there with each and every one of you, to take pictures, high five fans, and basically do everything I can to make sure that every cent of that ticket price makes you say ‘it was worth it!’
But quite frankly, this is one of the times I have to think long-term, see, going up against Jonny Fly has presented me a unique opportunity to truly test my skills once and for all against the best the company has to offer! This is a man who has won multiple world titles, who has defeated every single name there is to beat, who is currently in his third reign with that precious belt! Bottom line, this is a man against whom I must push myself harder than I have ever pushed before, against whom I must dedicate every waking hour to training, to take myself to a level that no one here has ever seen before!
WCF I cannot be there tonight, but I want you to mark down these words and put them on every social media that you can find. This Sunday! At Revenge! Teo del Sol and Jonny Fly are going to tear the house Down! And if you do not tune in, if you are the one saying that you couldn’t make time, that you couldn’t be there, that you couldn’t even go to the local bar and watch it on the flat screen, then you are going to be the one who says that when Jonny Fly and Teo del Sol redefined what it means to be Television Champion, that you couldn’t be bothered! But I know you all better than that, I know that this match is something that each and every one of you are dying to see. So Sunday Night, I hope each and every one of you are watching , because while I can’t be there tonight, I guarantee you that Teo del Sol will be there Sunday, and that he will deliver something that will shake the WCF to its very core! Now isn’t that something worth waiting for?
Thank you WCF, and see you Sunday!
Teo bows once more to the camera before retreating into the gym as the view slowly fades to black.
People's Title Announcement
The show comes back with a shot of Freddy Whoa once again standing in the middle of the ring.
Freddy Whoa: Well ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come. After calculating all the votes that you've submitted on WCF.com and through the WCF App, we've got ourselves a winner in the poll to determine who Spencer Adams will be defending his WCF People's Title against at Revenge.
Freddy points to the jumbotron. The photos of everyone involved in the poll pop up and begin rapidly shuffling around.
Freddy Whoa: Can we get a drum roll please?
Drum roll. Crowd is pumped. Quiet, but pumped.
Freddy Whoa: And the winner is...
The photos come to a halt and all but one disappear.
Freddy Whoa: KYLE KEMP!
The crowd pops. Well, those that voted for Kemp at least. Some Zombie McMorris fans seem rather pissed.
Freddy Whoa: Well there you have it folks, this Sunday at Revenge it will be Kyle Kemp going for the People's Title? Can Spencer Adams overcome this tough challenge? Find out this Sunday!
WCF Wednesday Night fades out to black.
