[The camera opens on a dark room, only dimly lit by a bare bulb hanging in the center. Below that is a card table with a single chair. A shape is seen in the background, pacing back and forth through the shadows. He stops and walks towards the chair and places a single hand on the back, scoots it back, and takes a seat in it. He is wearing a mask over his scarred face and a large bomber coat covers his massive frame.]
"My name...is Stryder", the man spoke through his mask.
The mask gives off an amplified sound, making the man sound almost inhuman.
"A new age is coming. The time of man once again knowing true fear, and I am here to usher in this change."
Stryder stands up from the chair and places his hands on the table.
"Do not fear me, though. Fear yourselves. It will be yourself who ultimately turns on you. Before I even step in to the ring with you, I already know your deepest, darkest secrets."
Stryder picks something up from the table and holds it towards the camera. It is a picture of Mary Mac, his opponent in his upcoming debut match in the WCF.
"You are a very beautiful girl Mary. Don't get me wrong, I'm not underestimating you. I can see there's something much more behind that pretty face. You're coming in that ring with something to prove. I can respect that."
Stryder sets the photo down on the table.
"I'm sorry you will have to be disappointed. I also have something to prove. I can see that you're a very strong girl, but I didn't need your strength test to show me that. I could feel it the moment they told me who I would be facing. But it's not all about muscles and power, Mary. I may have a size advantage, but I don't need it to crush you. In our match at Slam!, I vow not to lay a single hand on you and still achieve victory."
Stryder sits back down in the chair, pulling the string on the bulb as he does, leaving the room shrouded in complete darkness.
"When the shadows fall in your mind Mary, I will be the one in the darkness."
[The camera cuts out on the darkness]
