This is a tale that begins with a man. A man who has stepped out of the shadows and into the light for all to see. However, it can be said that not all has been revealed. There are still some things unseen. A mystery lingers within. The world hasn't seen what all he is capable of, what drives him, what his intentions are. No the world hasn't.
The scene opens up on a stretch of highway in Denver, Colorado. It's a dark and stormy night. The sky is lit with lightning bolts streaking through the clouds and heavy rain falls to Earth. In what seems to be a strange sight the highway is bare. No cars are trekking down the roadways doing their usual commute. And who can blame them? These are not conditions to be driving in. Mother Nature is showing get might and only a fool would drive in this weather.
The camera pans around revealing more of the scenery. A few minutes go by and we see a figure starting to appear. As the figure gets closet and closer it reveals itself to be Jayden Thunder who is walking down the highway. He's wearing a beanie, trench coat, custom Jayden Thunder t-shirt (which is available on WCF.com), jeans and a pair of rocker boots. By the looks of him being drenched one can ascertain that the fool didn't even grab an umbrella but anyways moving on.
Jayden Thunder: I came into this company earlier this year with a bang. I debuted at One where I won a Battle Royal to earn a shot at the Tag Team Championship later that not against reigning champions the Thickness. While I was not victorious in that match I put everyone on notice when I gave more what Odin and Bobby bargained for. They narrowly escaped with their titles only to give them up months later before retiring due to having "no competition". Yeah right.
Fast forward and I'm on the New Year's edition of WCF Wednesday night competing in another Battle Royal, this time to earn a shot at either the People's or the Internet championship. I go the distance to the final three before ultimately being taken out by a crazy, mental chick and a drink.
That's fine because eyes were still on me. I was seen as a top contender who seemed ready to strike at a moments notice but just simply had bad luck closing it out, the gold barely eluding my grasp. I had earned some respect I didn't come in and make politics in the back, get involved in any revolutions against authority, demand outrageous clauses in my contract or anything if that sort. I came to make an impact by my wrestling in that ring.
Sure I did have quite a mouth on me being somewhat cocky. I preached about how lightning was gonna strike down upon whoever was put in front of me but for the most part I backed up what I was saying. I played the good guy. The kind of guy that cared for the people. The people who spend their hard earned money to see us. I went out there each night and busted my ass off in that ring trying to steal the show.
But where has that gotten me? I stand here with nothing to show for it. No reward for my blood and sweat and tears. And to make matters worse I suddenly lost everything. I began a losing streak. I hit rock bottom. In what could have been my greatest moment, the chance at being the Wildcard in the Trilogy Cup Tournament, was taken away from me. I suffered an humiliating quick defeat in that match. And that's where it happened.
I woke up. I began to see clearly now. I no longer have the respect I once had, no longer had an aura where people would take me serious, no longer had the adoration of the fans. I walk the hallways now and nobody notices. I began to fade away into obscurity no longer a topic of discussion. No longer a threat. Oh how wrong they are.
You see now things are going to change. I'm changing. And it's going to start this Sunday in the Pepsi center in front of the world to see. Chelsea and Denise, ladies, nothing against youse but I will come out on top in that ring. What makes a person more dangerous when they don't have nothing to lose? I will not hold back. I will not play games. When that bell tolls I'm coming hard. I'm giving it everything I got and then some. In the end you will fall. In the end I will be the only dark force left standing.
I have to be.
Fade to black.
