• JANUARY 19TH 2014: Loses his debut match on Slam against The Ultimate Destroyer and the winner, Michael Lassiter. However, Alpine was not pinned.
• JANUARY 26TH 2014: Wins at the Payback PPV against Denise D'Evil, Mod Deuce and Jayden Thunder
• FEBRUARY 1ST 2014: Debuts his manager, Percy Micro, a micro pig with an electronic voice-box. It is currently unclear who is speaking through this creature.
• FEBRUARY 2ND 2014: Captures the WCF Television Title against Serbia on Slam.
• FEBRUARY 2ND 2014: Voted half of Slam's match of the night

Initially derided, Brent Alpine stunned the WCF by defeating highly rated Serbia for the TV Championship. Now that he has a target on his back (or, more specifically, around his waist), who will 'The Shine' discover to be friends and foes? This basically sums up recent happenings. Brent Alpine changed his moniker to 'The Vine' having been humbled by a personal crisis. He is now a fan favourite, still a member of Sequitus and no longer has Percy Micro as his manager.
