I've always loved these weekly segments that some of you have done as well as the Interviews that Polar used to do as well. So that's a hell yes from me. I definitely like the ideas from Jonny and George! as well. Also, a suggestion I have and it seems it would fit well with his character, but you should consider talking to raYne about doing a fashion tip of the week or something along those lines. It could be pretty funny plus it would put his character over. Those Lucien Hicks interviews Kid/Polar Phantasm did with various wrestlers were great. Solid, detailed character sketches. And the amazing thing was he just wrote them just for fun. They weren't role plays or show segments. |

Alright, there seems to be enough interest in doing this so I'm going to give it a try. This is what I was thinking:
The show will be called "WCF Round-Up" (unless someone has a better suggestion). The parts I would write would be the Slam/PPV Recap ( straight summaries of the shows) and "The Smart Market" (where crazy newz items about the company are put forward). I'd also write the intro for the "Question of the Week" segment (and come up with the question itself), and if someone wanted to do do an interview, I could help co-write those. Any other bits would be done by the people interested in participating.
I would like to post the show on Thursday night, so maybe a 7pm CST deadline for segments would be best. If that sounds good, and you want to contribute, or you have any other questions or suggestions, please PM me and we can hash it out.
Looking forward to trying this out. I have found the most fun I've had here at WCF (I'm a not so secret returning member) was when I was collaborating with other people, and this exercise is all about that.

Ok, I've gotten a segment from someone and I'm slowly making my way through recapping Slam. What I'll do now is post the Question of the Week here. People interested in replying to it can send me a PM with their answer. In terms of format, just imagine the question is being asked to the wrestler directly by an interviewer and reply how you want. The question: What is your opinion on WCF's policy of making every match No Disqualification? |

I normally don't ask for feedback because I'm so reluctant to give it myself when it comes to other people's writing, but if anyone has any thoughts how "WCF Round Up" can be improved please let me know. It's a long read, and dry in places, but I really wanted to give every Slam segment some time. Thanks in advance.

I'd like to do 'The Storm Warning'.
Basically... it'd be my, personal, 'Superstar of the Week'.
A profile on someone I believe people should have their eye on.

with rankings, letters, recaps, previews, etc.

Yeah, I've tried it before, but only like, an episode or two.
But I have my life slowly getting onto track... thinking it could be pretty stellar.
And for the 'S.o.t.W', ya better believe Logan would be the first feature. <3

I could always do something "For the Tech Savvy Fan" about cars, trucks, electronics, computers and stuff like that. I could even talk to different stars in the fed and lay it out for the "Super Fan of *****" what said star has in his pocket and on his desk as far as tech stuff is concerned. It would be a way for the fans to feel even closer to their favorite stars, or for the fans to find something in common with a character they never thought they had.

Both "The Storm Warning" and the tech based segment are great ideas, guys. If you get the chance to do them for this week, please get them to me by Thursday 7pm Central time.
