Here is my thoughts... not that I'm an expert by any means
-lots of CD CD is great and your writing is very good but I think your undoing this week is that it far outweighed your match talk.
-just cuz ur face doesnt mean you can't be dirty As long as you're not a baby face you can toe the line. If Seifer is pissed off then its okay to show that. He can call him names or think of clever ways to insult using sarcasm
-cater your rps to the opponent I noticed that your opponent this week uses a either fused CD/promo type style, so my advice is to read rps previously done by ur opponent and play off that
-try and Incorporate CD inside your match talk Its not easy to do but I saw some of that during the segment between Seifer and Matt. More of that is good. Plus with backflashes maybe do slow reveals, I.e do tidbits over multiple rps to draw your reader in to read your next one to find out what happened. . I.e. cliffhangers
-relevance Try and make any story part relate to the match somehow. If It dosent but you want to telk the story... save it for a Strictly CD rp at a later date. Sometimes we need to get ideas out of our heads in order to move forward
Last but not least -length I would cut back on how long they are. If there is too much you run the risk of people skipping over your story and going right to the trash talk. You don't want to lose your entertainment value.
I'm sorry if any of that seems harsh. Like I said I am no where near an expert these are things that I have been told myself over my experience and I hope it helps you as well

Facing Bobby Cairo, Odin Balfore, Steve Orbit, and Jonny Fly (twice!) in three weeks is a hell of a gauntlet to run.

I know they are tough matches but i feel like i had earned at least one win out of all the matches that i had been a part of especially this last one.

Please keep your head up, Seifer. As I've told you in PM's, I think you're very good. I really worked hard on my RP this week because I knew that I needed to. You're going to have a lot of success here. There's nothing to be discouraged about.
Also, please ignore in the IC comments I make. In case it might be, don't let that come into your mind about how I really feel about you or your character. Jonny Fly is a douchebag. I'm just writing him as such.
I'll refrain from giving direct feedback. I'm honestly just not very good at that sort of thing and usually feel that I come off too harsh. All you need to know is that you're plenty of good enough.

Sorry. I like to try and give feedback when I can since I would like the same when I request it. I try to be honest cuz pretty lies don't help, in fact they are often more of a hinderance if anything

I agree makayla i would rather know what i am doing wrong rather than what i am doing well, yeah its nice to know what you are doing right but the most important thing is to know what is your weakest part of your game

Exactly. Btw my real name is Mandy I wouldn't be where I was without ppl telling me what needed work. Not all of It was nice but it taught me to just work hardee to fix the problem areas. I still have problem areas today but you must be doing something right If ppl enjoy what you do

Well believe it or not... when I stopped 'trying' to win was when I started winning. I know it doesn't seem like it makes sense but sometimes if you try too hard it doesn't come out right but if you just let things flow and say 'as long as I'm having fun...that's all that matters" then all that stress and anxiety goes away and the real stuff comes out

My advice to you would be:
Don't roleplay to win, roleplay to have fun. If you are forcing your writing chasing a victory rather than just writing what comes natural, you're always going to feel beat up. Even when you aren't just chasing a win, you can still feel beat up over a loss. Everyone experiences it. But the main thing is that if you are roleplaying what you want rather than what you think you need to just to win, your chances will probably be better anyway. People get very creative with roleplays when they're having fun as opposed to trying to cover all the bases of what is going to earn them the win.
When you just write what is fun, it flows more naturally and most times will be better than anything that you put out to try and get "points." I think you're a talented writer, just don't worry so much about how fast or how slow you climb to the top. Just enjoy the journey there because it'll be that much sweeter in the end.

When it comes to efeding, too much empthis put on "How do I get the win?", where it should be about "How do I have fun writing the character, while also getting the point across?". See, when you focus too much on winning and losing, you lose the chance to have fun and develop your character within the realm of wrestling/storytelling. It's about being human. That's the tough thing about baby faces/faces in general. There's too much trying to be the one who plays into the fans, instead of actually showing that the character has feelings and emotions. Of course, you need to tie that into the trash talking as well; use the trash talk to develop how the character goes into matches. Just my two cents. Just keep doing what you're doing and the wins will come. I'd say that a lot of us have been in this situation before, and there comes a point where it all turns around.

I take this to heart. Sometimes I don't even know what's going on when I'm writing, there's an idea and an ending, but as long as you let go inbetween the idea and ending it all somehow comes together. I strongly believe in cause and effect. What I really want to say is IF we were talking about masturbation you could use Sarah's philosophy and it would fit. It doesn't matter about the climax, you masturbate for fun.

Yah, Thickness twice AND Jonny Fly. I wouldnt want to fight Cairo twice then Fly. I've been telling Cairo for weeks now that YOU, Robinson and Chase are my three favorite guys to read. Theres been plenty of matches I thought I should have won as well as a bunch I probably should have lost. With that said, I have to agree with the play for fun, not to win.
Put it this way. You may not have been successful against that gambit of opponents but those are some big time WCF players and YOU got to go in the ring and fight them. You could use that to separate yourself from alot of people of the roster. it's Seifer who goes toe to toe with WCF legends. It's seifer who makes these guys dig deep to win. and it will be seifer who will defeat them because unlike everyone else in WCF- Seifer can clearly go the distance.
