One of their catchiest songs for me despite being pre-80's. The only ones that might get stuck in my head more are Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight.

I'm rapin' Def Jam 'til I'm the hundred million man. At first I was like "OK." Then I thought it was a really great typo. Then I listened to it. "Afterlife" - Avenged Sevenfold.

LOL. It's the context, with Jay being basically the most successful rapper of all time, and achieving his initial success independently without help from the industry. The same guys who told him he couldnt cut it and would never make it as a rapper because of his voice and his looks etc, were now offering him record-breaking contracts. And of course he did become the hundred million man, then two hundred, three hundred etc. Its fun to look at his older work and realize he did everything he said he was gonna do.

'A New Day Has Come' - Celine Dion cover by Kellee Kaysee (she is an Atlantic City lounge singer.)
We got her on tape back in 2004-5 singing this. I was looking over some old stuff from back in NJ since I'll be going back soon and wow...she blows Celine out of the water voice wise. I might have to upload this one day so you all can hear it. I know many of you are probably not fond of Celine Dion music but this girl who covers it can sing.

Wow, got lucky. Did a youtube search. This isn't the song I was talking about, and apparently she is still singing there as of 2012 but here is a sample of what she is capable of. The beginning is kinda hard cause of the crowds talking but it clears up after a about 30 secs.

I actually think Celine Dion is a beast. I don't like... sit around listening to her music or anything, but she has an amazing voice. Very talented.

Oh she is, and that is what I think about Kellee Kaysee. She has the talent to be big, but she isn't. Though I remember talking to her and she was completely fine with where she was.
