Currently- Davey Ortega has signed with WCF, marking his return after seven years. He has been a part of a company that at first loved him, though after a fall from grace and fives years of alcohol abuse and drug addiction he came back to a company rampant with corruption, and spent three months toiling with minimal success and stuck in a tag team that management refused to push. After two months into the company, Davey turned to his lawyers wanting to get a deal with WCF and Seth Lerch. Seth at first was happy to see one of the persona's he introduced come back, but increasingly grew hesitant when he looked into Davey Ortega's past. Alcohol abuse, a coke addiction and saw the famed no shows in the other company. It's possible that if Jonny Fly had never won control of WCF Davey Ortega may never be here. Though Jonny won, and Davey is signed. What does the future have in store for The Jewel of the East?

Currently-Davey returned to WCF in true Ortega fashion as he jumped right into a Twitter war with Freya Kane, ultimately leading up to a match at Payback and his first one in WCF in seven years. The match did not go in Davey's favor, losing to Freya. After that he was faced with an ultimatum, attend therapy with Preston or be sent back to the rehab center that held him for five years. Davey, reluctantly, chose the former. Davey has become an outspoken supporter of Eric Price, the World Champion. After weeks of praising him and defending him in multiple media outlets passed Davey would soon find himself face to face to him. The two shook hands, singaling a friendship between them based on mutual respect and common goals.
