War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again, y'all
War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
Nuclear and biological war. War on drugs. War on hate. War in the name of peace. Man is not only indoctrinated from youth into the ways of war, but it is hardwired into our very psyche, right down to the deepest cellular level of mans genetic dna. We have been fighting the elements, and even ourselves, since the very first moment man become conscious of himself. Whether be it the biblical way, when god created Adam and Eve, or if you wish to subscribe to Darwin's theory, where we evolved from apes and monkeys. War is so much a human creation that is is foreign to the animal kingdom, for only man kills for more than he needs and for things he covets from others. War is a foreign and strange concept to our animal neighbors who inhabit this planet, but it is a part of our every day lives. It is what makes us superior, strangely, to the rest of the species of this planet, and what drives us well into the future.
WCF has a war of it's very own on the horizon. War XI, a match where two men start, and one man enters at a predetermined amount of time. The names are drawn before hand as to the order of entries. everyone in WCF has their name in the proverbial hat. The winner of this match earns the enviable and heavily sought position of being the number one contender to the WCF world heavyweight championship, and the right to go on to ONE, the biggest pay per view of the year for WCF as the headlining challenger for the world title. It's quite possibly the biggest pay day for anyone and everyone here in WCF. War is exactly what it entails. Men, though unarmed in the sense of traditional warfare, still come to lay waste to any and all who stand in their way of that glorious chance to main event ONE and a shot at the world heavyweight title.
With that in mind, one can only imagine the levels of intensity and the depths of darkness each and every competitor will seek to reach in order to be the last man, or woman, standing in this battle for ultimate glory. We all look down the list, place our own odds for who is the favorite to win. There are also those wondering who will get the most eliminations, who will last the longest. there are many side stories to entertain one and all in such a match as this. Many might think the odds against me the greatest, i have the longest shot of all the WCF roster to win this match. Two weeks ago i was involved in a hit and run accident, my car rolled several times.
About one week removed from this accident, i fought alongside my tag team partner, Doc Holiday, in a tag team gauntlet match for the world tag team titles. We got lucky, Doc and i were the last entrants in the match, and it was over rather quickly. I won't be so lucky this time around. Involved are the greatest of the great, men such as Oblivion, Frank Patrick Venable, Waylon Cash, all former world champions. To make the match even more astounding hall of fame legendary names such as Jay Price and Corey Black have been added.
Many have already written me off. I'm only a tag team champion. I'm nowhere near at a hundred percent physically, as one will need to be in a match such as this. I might be inclined to agree, but remember this folks. War is a match built on anarchy and chaos, friend against foe, friend against friend, it's every person for themselves. Don't take my membership with the Church of Dark Saints as an alliance of friendship, for i have no friends in WCF, and i have no qualms about breaking bones, twisting ligaments or tearing muscle tissue into shreds in order to get a pin fall, submission or over the top rope elimination. I call myself the hell raiser because i live to create anarchy and chaos, so this match is perfect for one such as myself. Secondly, i maybe less than a hundred percent. I may be wounded, as you see me now. But i ask you remember what they say about wounded animals. Take it to heart and mind, believe it or not at your own choosing, i am wounded, and i am most definitely an animal. Where as each and every one of you, Oblivion, Jay Price, Sado, Eric Price, Steve Orbit, Waylon Cash, Tek, Steel Toe Joe, and each and every single member on this prestigious roster, are coming into this match with the hopes of lasting until the very end, and being the last one left in the ring, i, Terry "Synn" Roberts, am truly and verily fighting for my very survival. I have a target on me, I'm already injured, it wouldn't take much to take me out for any length of time. Everyone already knows about my back surgeries needed after Doc Henry nearly ended my career a little over a year ago. I stand here, fresh, new injuries, injuries that could be made worse with several hard chair shots. Or dropped multiple times onto a guardrail, or into the ring post. I come into the match already disadvantaged. I have to go in thinking that each and every member on this roster will be looking to put a feather in their cap by taking me out, injuring me over a long period of time, or even indefinitely ending my career.
I'm a wounded animal, hurt, suffering, going into a war against the best the world has to offer. You fight for glory and fame, i on the other hand, as stated, am fighting for my very survival. I may win the match, hell i might not even be in the match for long for all we know. But i warn you, and it is a warning each and every one of you need to heed. A wounded animal fights to either flee or kill. There is no fleeing in War, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, my option of fight or flight has been reduced to simply fighting. Fighting for my very survival here in WCF. I care not who stands before me in the ring, for on that night, i have no friends, only foes. I am not in it to win it, my only interest is to make it out as best i can. I don't care whom i have to hurt to achieve my goal, you all best believe, Synn will raise hell at War, Synn has declared war on the entire WCF roster, and Synn will go to any sadistic inhuman lengths imaginable, and unimaginable, to make it out of War as a survivor, no matter how many casualties I'll have to stain my bloody hands with to do it.
At War, Synn may not have a chance to win it. Synn probably won't win it, but I'll take each and every single one of you down, and out, to make it out. War for you is about becoming number one contender and going on to ONE to face the world champion for the title. For me, it's nothing but the basest human instincts of survival. And like a wounded animal, I'll be fighting for my very life, no matter the cost to anyone else.
War does not determine who is right - only who is left.
