Jay Price Contract Ending: Will WCF Re-Sign Him?

"Reports are swirling around the internet that injured WCF Veteran Jay Price, who is still hospitalized following a second and third procedure to repair the damage to his neck, may not be re-signed to WCF when he recovers. Price's current deal, which was signed in June of 2010, is set to expire on June 25th, 2012.

As of now this is merely speculation, but when reached for a word, neither WCF nor Price's representitives had anything to say on the matter. One of the most discussed issues on the matter is that Price has consistently butted heads with WCF management backstage and is now viewed as an insurance risk with his neck injuries."

As the former interim WCF president Bobby Cairo had some big juicy comments on Jay Price's contract situation:

"Of course I am no longer in a position to handle WCF's finances or re-sign talent now that Seth Lerch is back in charge of WCF, but I have to question the value of re-signing a career choke artist like Jay Price, who is presently injured. I mean, do we even know whether the man's bloated vagina is going to heal up and allow him to compete again?"

After being informed that Price's injury was neck related not vagina related, Cairo responded:

"I have serious doubts about those reports. I mean Price's vagina has always flared up when it came time to deliver in a World Title match or even a contendership match. The man is a disgrace to the true prime time performers in this company such as Jonny Fly, Jeff Purse and Kid Phantasm. Those are the guys who are putting asses in seats, not a bitch like Jay Price."

When asked to show respect for Price by the assembled group of reporters, Cairo responded:

"Fuck a Jay Price. If Jay does return to WCF his only 'future' will be in the Women's Title division."

When it was pointed out that WCF does not currently have a Women's Title division Cairo was quoted as saying:

"Exactly. 'The Future' is a thing of the past in Jay Price's case. The true future of WCF is one Jeffrey James Purse, and in fact he's already excelled far beyond Jay Price's career accomplishments. United States Champion, Pantheon member and engaged heterosexual American male? Jay Price could only wish to achieve any of these things."

When pressed for further comments about Price, Cairo took a shit or "Jay Price" in the nearest port-a-potty and strutted off with a relieved look on his face as he prepared to meet some hot bitches for lunch and a nooner.

When WCF.com informed Kid Phantasm that it was JAY PRICE'S contract that was up, Kid Phantasm responded: "I was under the impression that he had retired after he won that thing in Japan."

With the current state of the product, what with super groups forming everyday and diminishing the quality of the programming, my talent would be wasted. So go ahead WCF, continue to allow your inmates to run the asylum while leaving the only quality talent on your roster to rot, I'll just go to another company and make them a fuckload of money."

There is still no word from WCF Managment, but after hearing Price's thoughts on the situation, one would assume they aren't happy."

Earlier today Jay Price posted a rather cryptic message on his Twitter account, a message many speculate is his way of saying that he is leaving Wrestling Championship Federation when his contract expires on June 25th.

Again, this is all merely speculation and some believe this is Price's way of saying he wants to take some time off and heal before returning to WCF.

One of the other main questions still up in the air concerning all of this is the stance of WCF Management on bringing Price back. WCF Owner Seth Lerch has chosen not to comment on the issue yet, but sources within WCF believe that the animosity between Price and Lerch has become too personal as of late and Lerch wants to cut all ties.

If Price were to leave expect the debate of whether or not Price belongs in the WCF Hall Of Fame to start. Those arguing for him to be inducted already point to the fact that, with the exception of the United States Title, Price has won every major title in WCF. They also point to the fact that among WCF Veterans he ranks up with some of the legends in terms of career wins and WAR performances. Those opposed to Price being inducted have been countering those arguments by pointing out that Price may have won the World Title, but by having the third shortest reign in WCF history he proved he wasn't up to competing at the highest level. They also argue that two of the reigns on his resume, the People's Title and the Elite Title, only happened because he was gifted the belts.

With 11 days remaining until a decision has to be made expect a flurry of speculation from everyone involved. WCF.com will stay on top of this story and bring you any news the minute we learn about it.
