So, hey... that's the first promo I've written since... 2004? Maybe earlier. I figured I'd dodge the usual debut promo tropes... you know. "I've been champion of eight feds none of you were in! I'm so badass I'm going to have all of the belts at the same time! I'm better than everybody; take my word for it, because you would pretty much have to! Everyone is going to suck my dick and the ladies are going to suck it twice! Roar!" That sort of thing.
As for my wrestling background, I sort of stopped watching after WWF/E killed ECW. ECW was my favorite thing ever. They were unconventional as fuck and I loved that... so that's kind of where I'm coming from. Low budget as fuck, even in Wordpad.
If I ended up sounding like a comedy character, it's probably just because I've spent the last six years doing standup. That, and I refuse to be boring. Heh. Feedback's appreciated... either way, it's great to be back at the keys.
