There was a time when being good was good enough to get by. That time has passed!
Dangerous Don DeBeers, Night Rider, Jeff Purse, and Oblivion are all sitting at a table in the new AoD headquarters. It is a simple suite on the top floor of the Holiday Palace Hotel. The room is bare except for the table and Chairs and a cart that room service brought up with their drinks. A camera is set up to record what is going on.
Night Rider: First off, I want to thank my Tag Team Partner, Jeff Purse, For joining us in this meeting. As everyone knows he is not an official member of the Angels of Death. However, He will always be an honorary member and welcome at any time. Now, I would like to address this 8 man tag match coming up at Slam. This will be our first test as a cohesive unit. It will not be easy by any means. All four of our opponents are a force to be reckoned with and NOT to be taken lightly!
Dangerous Don: I know what you mean. Look at what The Society did to the GLS! Ran them right out of town, Tarred and Feathered. Which sucks in a way because I would have loved to get my hands on the big guy again. However, That being said, We aren't the GLS and taking us out will be a lot tougher.
Oblivion: We will NOT be taken out at all! It is looking at this as a warm up and an opportunity to send a message to GraveDigger, Seth Lerch, And the rest of MS-13! It will be ready! Make no mistakes about that!
Dangerous Don: Exactly! However, This will give us an opportunity to show not only them but the rest of the wrestling world that the AoD is for real and we mean business.
Night Rider: Lets take a closer look at the competition here. First, Tek. This guy is like a damn Timex. He takes a licking and somehow keeps going. Don't let his record fool you. I have been in the ring with this guy on a couple of occasions and I know he can be one tough opponent!
Dangerous Don: Yeah, But you did beat him.
Night Rider: True, I did get the victory but it WAS a tough battle each time. Make no mistakes about it, The guy is good.
Dangerous Don: He may very well be. But being good just isn't going to cut it when we step into that ring. With our combined power and experience mixed in with the quickness and agility that we posses neither TEK, Nic Daniels, Eric Price, Nor SteelToe Joe are going to know what hit them!
Night Rider: Lets not forget though, Not much is known about Eric Price and Steeltoe Joe. I've done a little research and I know they have been around for quite a while and anyone who can stay in the game for that long has to have some substance to them. Don't get me wrong, I know that none of them can hold a candle to what we are capable of doing inside that ring.
Jeff Purse: I have been pretty quiet so far but I must say that there are no weak links here. It is going to take a combined effort on all of our parts to come out victorious in this match. As long as we work together as a cohesive unit and avoid any major mistakes we can do this.
Dangerous Don: I happen to agree with Jeff on this. I mean, Look at us. If we set our minds to it there isn't anyone of our opponents that can beat us! Like he said, We have to work together and function like a well oiled machine! Nothing less will do!
At that moment Night Riders phone rings. He answers it and says a few words before hanging up.
Night Rider: Well, Dangerous Don, Jeff and I need to attend to some business matters. Why don't you and Oblivion head on over to the gym. We'll meet up with you there later.
