Yeah, so I feel like I've done like shit lately and would like an opinion on my latest roleplay/promo. I normally don't ask for feedback because I realize I'm doing the best I can each week due to time constraints but lately I haven't had that reason for possible slack quality. wcfwrestling.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rpboard20112&action=display&thread=10385For the people who don't want to go back to the board. Any advice or suggestions is appreciated.

I'm the last guy to give anyone advice, but since I just beat you.. what the hell. LOLOLOL j/k j/k <3
I liked the read, GD's trash talking is always clever and entertaining to read. If you created some scene in between the monologue so I could get a better idea of GD's emotions during certain pieces of the trash talking, or what he was actually doing during the trash talk then that would be cool too. I understand the time restraints though, and I'm just glad you're RPing.
And thanks for the match last Sunday, cracka.

I'll be blunt. I'm always torn when I read one of your roleplays. You always seem to bring it at a different level for different situations; for a regular match you seem to just go with what will get you the win, but when the pressure is on and it's a PPV match or a title is on the line, you turn up the dial and put out some superb stuff. With that said, this one in my mind straddled that line. I feel like because of the history you have with Speede you put a little more effort than you normally would for a non-title Slam match, but I know you too well from all the times you and I have gone at it, and I know the level of talent you have when it comes to roleplaying. I'm not saying this wasn't a good RP, because it was, I'm just saying I know that you are more than capable of doing even better.

I was just reading some of your older stuff in the archives. When you were with Troy Malenko and Co. and I have to agree with Jay. There were times when you really brought it and others when it seemed to be lacking. If you could find that mid point between the two I think you could go even further than you have. Try giving us a little more insight as to what GD is actually feeling. Not that I really have room to talk because I do the same thing from time to time. You should have seen some of my early stuff when I joined ESW. RPing for the first time in 10 years was a challenge, And quite funny! You are better than you have shown lately although I did enjoy your latest one.

I have always noticed my lack of description as an issue, too. I can start off great sometimes, but once I get talking, I get less descriptive. That's something I've always noticed I do. I need to just write it like I have been and after I'm finished, go back and add descriptions of what's going on here and there. I'll be blunt. I'm always torn when I read one of your roleplays. I even talked about that in my promo lol. I think I usually do it because I'm afraid I"ll burn myself out if I go all out every single week instead of just saving my best for the big matches. Having history with Speede helped a lot plus Seth's description of the match on the Slam card motivated what I said as well.

Since you always give me feedback, I felt inclined to give you the best feedback I could. However, I didn't read any of your past, archived posts, but here is my advice for you.
I thought it was good. It not only addressed your opponent, but there was some background about Oblivion, and I like that in an rp because it full circles the character and makes them seem very real, in my opinion.
In terms of what was said, again, you talked about the past, the future, the present, really good points were made. I especially liked the cheese grater line.
I think more description is something you can work on for sure. I think description is something everyone can work on. Here is a tip that I do to add some description, and even more words.
I write the main description paragraph first, obviously, but after that I write no description. I just write what Jeff is saying. So essentially I set the mood, then just put his words in. After that, I go through, and I write action, I try to do it inbetween every second to third paragraph. The only fault, sometimes I forget and post, see my last rp.
But dude you are doing a great job. Good points, good threats, going first is always hard in a match because you have nothing really to respond to, but you did good my friend.
