*A few hours after the end of Payback, Hank Brown is seen in the backstage area walking toward Eric Price, who is dressed in street clothes, standing by himself texting something on his phone as Hank approaches him*
Hank: Eric Price?
*Eric still texting looks up at Hank and indicates for him to wait one second while he finishes. Eric finishes, closes up his cell phone and puts it away as he smiles at Hank and shakes his hand*
Hank: Eric, earlier we saw Tek get attacked by the GLS post-match, they tried to decimate him and from out of nowhere, you came out and saved him. It has been a long time since you’ve been seen in a WCF Ring or Arena, what brings you back now? Are you aligned with The Society?
Eric: Hank, it has been nearly two years since I have spoken to Tek and Nic Daniels in person. Now, as I’m sure you saw earlier, I went to speak to both of them and see them after that heinous assault by the GLS. Tek’s a bit hurt from the attack but no worse for the wear. It’s as I said though, the band is indeed back together and I am definitely a part of The Society. What happened here is very simple, the GLS decided to mess with the bull so a few days ago, I got a phone call from Tek, asking me if I wanted to join up with them in their fight against the GLS. I told them I would think about it as so far, it seemed they had it well under control. I did agree to visit backstage and watch what happened and see them beat the hell out of the GLS.
As they were proceeding to dismember the GLS, the double DQ was called and then I see them trying to take advantage in what can only be described as a 3 on 1 mugging after DeBeers was thrown through the table and Nic had taken the Lights Out; they decided to attack Tek with a steel chair. I was not about to let that go down without putting up a fight so I ran out there and did what anyone would do for his friends, I stuck up for him and the GLS did exactly what I thought they would do, they ran away like the cowards that they are.
They tried to make this a numbers game and like I said before, I am here to even up the odds because I am not about to see the GLS run roughshod over The Society.
Hank: So you, Nic, and Tek have a history?
Eric: We were definitely a force to be reckoned with at one point. We have a lot of mutual respect for each other and have teamed before. The offer was always up for me to come back but I drifted back into the business world and took care of some things at that end. Now seemed the right time to come back and rejoin them to dismantle the GLS.
Hank: Due to what transpired at Payback earlier, for the next edition of Slam from Reading, PA, The Society, that is Tek, Nic Daniels, and yourself are scheduled to face the GLS in a 3-on-3 tag team match. What are your thoughts on that and does that mean you’re back with WCF or is this a one night only thing?
Eric: It has been a long time and I am definitely looking forward to teaming with my old brothers in arms, Nic and Tek. The GLS decided to as I started to say earlier, mess with the bull and now they have to deal with the horns and, as is cliché, I’ll say it … I’m back. After what happened with me coming out with the steel chair, me and Seth had a little talk and inked what I consider a very lucrative deal that sees me coming back to WCF full time.
So GLS, don’t think this is a quick and simple deal that’s going to end swiftly. No no, you brought this upon yourselves. You messed with the Society and now you have a war on your hands. You may think you won the match earlier even though it was a double DQ but the fact is it was only a small battle that will seem insignificant after next week’s Slam. You tried to take advantage of the situation but trust me when I say that will not happen again. You may not know this Hank but The Society isn’t just brothers in arms that happen to get along, we also form a very cohesive unit and can work as such when needed and we do so extremely well. Next week, we will show you exactly why the Society can and will eventually dominate WCF.
Hank: One last question, Tek mentioned the numbers will be in your favor very soon. Was he referring to you?
Eric: Don’t worry about that. Let’s just say the Society is just getting started.
*Eric receives a text message on his cell phone*
Eric: If you’ll excuse me, I have to deal with some business here. Thanks so much.
*Eric walks away as the scene fades to black*
