Shadow vs Joey Flynn
"Plush" by Stone Temple Pilots starts playing as smoke fills the entrance way. Out steps Shadow blowing green mist in the air followed by Blair. He walks slowly towards the ring with his index and middle fingers of his right hand on his throat. Shadow rolls in under the bottom rope and sits up on one knee. He blows red mist and stands up. Blair takes the hood off of Shadows head and Shadow sprays more green mist.
Zach Davis: The mysterious Shadow makes his entrance, with Blair at his side.
"The Cut" by Index Case busts through the PA, and Joey Flynn walks out from the back, wearing jeans, a black WCF t-shirt, and black Chuck Taylors. Following him is Creeping Death and Kaylyn James Evans. The three walk down to the ring, and Joey rolls in. CD and Kay take a spot in his corner.
Zach Davis: Joey Flynn is Creeping Death's rookie for "The Cut" and this is his first one on one match. Let's see what he can do!
The bell rings, and we're underway. Shadow rushes in to Joey, and hits a big palm strike, sending Joey to the corner. Shadow follows with a rolling koppu kick to the forehead! Joey slumps down into the corner, and Shadow does a version of a Shining Wizard! Joey's head rocks back and to the side. CD and Kaylyn are on the outside screaming instructions, while Blair is laughing on the other side of the ring.
Kyle Steel: Shadow is owing this rookie.
Shadow pulls Joey out into the middle of the ring and goes up to the top rope... flying off with a moonsault! But Joey got his knees up! Shadow bounces off and lands on his back. Joey crawls to the ropes and pulls himself up, but Shadow is up too and does a Japanese arm drag. Flynn gets up, and into another arm drag. Shadow goes for another once Joey stands up, but Joey puts the breaks on, and leaps into the air, driving his right foot into Shadow's face in a one-foot front dropkick! Shadow goes down in a heap, and without losing a step, Flynn flies off the middle rope with a lionsault! Joey doesn't go for the cover, though, and it costs him. Shadow sprays the green mist right into Joey's eyes, blinding him. Shadow with a roll-up!
NO Joey kicks out!
Kyle Steel: Great heart shown.
Shadow lifts Joey up and goes for a brainbuster, but Joey hits a knee strike to Shadow's head. Another one, and Shadow releases. Joey hits the mat and... BLACK MIST!

Shadow can't see anything, and Joey lifts Shadow up for a brainbuster... but spins it into a Falcon Arrow... BUT DROPS SHADOW ON HIS HEAD IN A TOMBSTONE!
Zach Davis: Jesus Christ!
The bell rings, and CD slides into the ring to celebrate with Joey. Kaylyn does the same, and all three stand in the ring victorious as WCF goes to commercial.

The Arena's lights glow brightly as Paul Montuori slowly walks out, as the Arena slightly shakes and vibrates as the crowd boos at the appearance of the hippy attired. Montouri walks down the aisle and towards the ring, with his palms up.
Kyle Steel: Does Paul Montuori remind you of anyone?
As Montuori walks near the ringside area, the fans continue their tirade at Montuori, as he slides under the bottom rope and waits for his opponent.
Zach Davis: Kyle, it's about to get funky!!
Kyle Steel: What?!
The Casino Inc. remix of "Da Funk" by Daft Punk booms, signaling the arrival of the wrestler of the same name, as Da Funk charges right through the curtains at top speed and right into the ring. Da Funk busts some moves to the music, until it stops, and goes to the corner waits for the match to start.
Zach Davis: A-a-and this match gets underway!
As the match starts, Da Funk grabs the top rope and proceeds to stomp down onto the mat. The crowd claps and stomps down along with Da Funk. The energy, of The Arena begins to slowly pick up, as the crowd begins to shout...
The crowd: FUNK!! FUNK!! FUNK!! FUNK!! FUNK!! FUNK!!
Da Funk rotates around the ring as he occassionally looks at the crowd.
Kyle Steel: The energy is high, for this match!
Zach Davis: This should be an action packed match-up!!
Both wrestlers lock up, in the center, of the ring. Montuori pushes Funk towards the corner, but Funk plants his right foot and pivots his hips, causing him to reverse momentum and he now is pushing his opponent towards the ropes. As Funk has Montuori against the ropes, WCF Senior Referee Stanley Moser gets in between the two wrestlers. Montuori holds up his hands, as he dips his torso in between the top and middle ropes. Funk tries to get at his opponent, but the referee prevents him...
Montuori takes the opportunity, with Funk being distracted with the referee and takes a cheap shot, by slapping his opponent on the face. That infuriates the crowd, as Funk chases Montuori around the ring, until they both exits the ring. After running around the corner, Montuori enters the ring, with Funk right behind him....
Kyle Steel: Smart move by Paul Montuori.
Zach Davis: How so?
Kyle Steel: Montuori got Da Funk to chase him and Montouri entered the ring before Funk and WHAM, Montuori has the advantage.

WCF Hardcore Title Match
Phillip Baines (Champion) vs Michael Santiago
Phillip Baines (Champion) vs Michael Santiago
The show comes back from commercial with a sweeping shot of the audience and many fans hold up their homemade signs and WCF memorabilia. The camera pans to the stage as the eerie opening strains of "Exiles" by Therapy? fill the arena as the lighting goes wonky. A major pyrotechnics explosion occurs at the entrance ramp followed by the drums and bass kicking in on the song, and now the lighting is really tripping out. Phillip Baines appears at the top of the ramp along with Bobby, Gina and Emily. They're greeted by a loud cheer from the crowd and a fancy display of sparkly pyro. The foursome raises their arms in salute to the fans and then they make their way down to the ring, slapping hands with the fans along the way.
Zach Davis: Time for things to get HARDCORE!
Kyle Steel: Indeed they are. The Hardcore Champion can't be pleased at all with how Oblivion found a way to one-up him last week.
Once they reach the ring Phil hops onto the apron and flips forward over the top rope while Bobby walks up the steps and climbs in through the ropes. Phil holds the ropes open for Gina to enter the ring while Bobby does the same for Emily. Inside the ring they each go to a corner, hop onto the turnbuckles and salute the fans once again.
"I don't wanna stop" by ozzy osbourne plays throughout the arena as the lights dim, blue and white strobe lights flood the stage and tunnel.
Kyle Steel: And here comes the challenger, "Black Charisma" Michael Santiago.
Zach Davis: You have to believe Santiago is looking to rebound from losing that 6-Person Elimination Match last week.
A shadow begins to emerge from the tunnel as the music builds, as santiago comes into focus the crowd begins chanting. Santiago makes his way down the ramp as the crowd pops, as he gets to ringside he rolls into the ring and taunts I'm the center before climbing a turnbuckle and continuing to taunt.
Senior Referee Stanley Moser signals for the bell...
DING!! DING!! DING!!
...and this match is officially underway. Santiago walks up to the Hardcore Champion and begins the age old heel tactic of smack talk. But Baines is having none of it and responds with some smack of his own, right across the lips of Santiago. Santiago holds a hand up to his stinging lips and then takes a wild swing at Baines, who ducks it and then executes a beautiful double leg take down. Baines back up to his feet, but not before giving Santiago a playful smack across the back of the head.
Kyle Steel: And the Champion almost seems to be playing with the challenger in the opening minutes of the match..not sure about this strategy but what do I know about wrestling?
Baines turns toward Bobby and flashes him a thumbs up...and Santiago catches him with a low blow from behind.
Zach Davis: Ohh right in the ol' family jewels.
Santiago with the roll up and the first pin attempt of the match.
And Baines kicks out before the two count. Both men to their feet and Baines has a "Okay, so you wanna go that route?" look on his face as he gently massages his aching grapefruits. Santiago moves in to tie up and Baines obliges. The two men fight for control and Santiago wins, placing Baines in a side headlock. Baines counters by backing up into the ropes and using the forward momentum to push Santiago off. Santiago spins around and Baines unloads with a vicious chop to the chest that puts him on the mat.
Kyle Steel: Jesus! You could hear that chop in China.
Santiago gets back up to his feet, his chest with a noticeable red mark across it, and Baines shoots him toward the ropes. Santiago comes back and Baines drops him to the mat with a back elbow to the chin. Baines with the quick pin attempt.
And Santiago gets the shoulder up before the two count. Baines rolls out of the ring and lifts up the apron in search of some instruments of pain as Santiago rolls out of the ring on the opposite side. Baines slides a table under the bottom rope and then goes after Santiago, with a kendo stick in hand. Santiago sees him coming and slides back into the ring. Baines follows suit and Santiago is right on him, dropping an elbow across the back. Santiago grabs the kendo stick from Baines' hands and unleashes a stinging strike across the back. And then a second shot. And a third.
Zach Davis: Baines sure is going to be feeling those shots in the morning. Yikes.
Santiago drops the kendo stick and pulls Baines up to his feet, setting him up for a spinning neckbreaker. Baines counters with a right hand to Santiago's side. Baines then with another shot that breaks the hold before he executes a flawless belly to belly suplex. Baines doesn't let up as he pulls Santiago right back up to his feet and lifts him up onto his shoulders. Baines with a rolling firemans carry slam and then a pin attempt.
And Santiago gets a shoulder up before the three count. But Baines doesn't give much of a chance to recover as he slaps on a reverse chinlock.
Kyle Steel: And the intensity in the Hardcore Champion is at a level with which I haven't seen from someone in years. He is just refusing to let up at all.
Santiago uses everything he has to fight out of the submission hold and roll out of the ring. Baines hits the ropes on the other side of the ring and looks to hit a suicide dive...BUT SANTIAGO DUCKS IT! Baines crashes to the arena floor violently as Cairo and the crowd can only look on with concern. Santiago is a little less concerned as he pulls Baines to his feet and bounces his face off of the security barrier.
Zach Davis: And now the Hardcore Champion is looking like he's in a world of trouble.
Santiago grabs Baines by the head and bounces him face first off the barrier for a second time. Santiago then rolls him in under the bottom rope, grabs a steel chair from under the ring and then slides into the ring. Santiago tries for a quick pin attempt.
And Baines kicks out before the three count. Santiago rolls off of him and picks up the chair. Baines is up to his feet, stumbling a bit from the blunt force trauma to his cranium, and Santiago readies himself with the chair. Baines turns himself around, Santiago swings...AND BAINES DUCKS IT! The chair bounces off of the ropes and smacks Santiago in the face. Baines picks up the chair and uses it to connect with Santiago's back. Santiago stumbles away but Baines doesn't let up and connects a second time across the back. Santiago drops to the mat and Baines tosses the chair out of the ring. Baines with a pin attempt.
AND SANTIAGO GETS HIS SHOULDER UP! Baines slams his fists on the mat in frustration as he looks toward Cairo. Cairo then looks toward the table lying a few feet away from him. Baines nods his head and then goes about setting up the table. Santiago begins to stir on the mat as Baines finishes setting it up. Baines turns around, pulls him in and snaps off the State Of Emergency, sending Santiago crashing through the table. Baines hooks the leg for the pin.
"Exiles" by Therapy? fills the arena as Bobby, Gina and Emily enter the ring to celebrate the victory. The referee brings him the Hardcore Title and he raises it above his head in celebration.
Kyle Steel: That match was brutal!!
Zach Davis: What the....?!
Oblivion rushes through the crowd, pushing people out of the way.
Zach Davis: What's Oblivion doing here?!
Kyle Steel: It looks like he wants another piece of Phillip Baines.
Oblivion is holding in his hand a 2 x 4 that is wrapped in barbed wire, that has a rag wrapped around it, that is on fire!
Zach Davis: HOLY HELL!! LOOK AT THAT WEAPON AND HE'S STARING RIGHT AT PHILLIP BAINES!!
Baines looks slightly intimidated, as Michael Santiago is now just standing up. Baines is backing up into a corner, as Oblivion stalks him, walking closer to Baines.
Kyle Steel: It looks like Phillip Baines is in some serious trouble!!
With rage in IT's eyes, Oblivion raises the fire blazing barbed wired 2 x 4 and proceeds to swing the nasty weapon....
The crowd goes into shock!!
Zach Davis: OH MY GAW-AWAWDD-D!
Kyle Steel: Oblivion just struck Michael Santiago!!
The Arena is filled with confused murmurs!!
Zach Davis: What the Hell?!
Oblivion stands over Santiago and glances over to Baines, with a half smirk. Baines just stares with some confusion. He also has a half smirk across HIS face. Oblivion grabs the weapon and proceeds to exit the ring, while still looking at Phillip Baines. Baines stands there, looking at Santiago then back at Oblivion.
Kyle Steel: What did we just see here?!
Zach Davis: I don't have a single clue on what just happened, in front of our eyes. Even the crowd is shocked! I'm speechless, Kyle. Just speechless.
Kyle Steel looks over at the camera...
Kyle Steel: We'll be right back.
The show fades out to commercial.
