Matt Draven vs Tempest Razum
Take another shot at me
I love the way you
As "Love The Way You Hate Me" by LIKE A STORM hits the arena's PA system, the fans look up towards then stage while the various spotlights strobe along to the beat of the song. Faint cheering from isolated groups of fans already being heard.
I don't care if I'm not good enough for you
I don't care if I don't live the life you want me to
I don't care what you wanna think of me
With the song continuing, the isolated cheers became a collective as a man walked out from backstage and out into the full view of the people. Once he had roughly made it to the center of the stage, the man darted forward and dove into a forward roll before popping bac k up to his feet just shy of the top of the ramp. Pausing long enough to pluck a few items of company merchandise from the cargo pockets on his shorts, the man soon made his way down the ramp to the ringside area. A bit of pep in his step as she tossed the items in random directions out to the nearby fans.
Kyle Steel: "Making his way to the ring from Washington D.C. at a weight of two hundred and eighteen pounds, MAAATT DRAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEN!"
With his identity now revealed to the people, Matt continued to throw free merch out to the crowd while he walked around the outside the ring. Of course he would high-five a few fans along the way as well. He wasn't an unhumble fool after all. Regardless, after he had made it all the way back to the bottom of the ramp, Matt faced the ring before darting towards it with an impressive burst of speed. After sliding in underneath he bottom rope, Matt sprang up to his feet just so he could run across the ring and leap up onto the second turnbuckle. Still riding the short adrenaline rush from his sudden sprint, Matt threw his arms up and back as he leaned forward. A primal scream escaping his lips to further excite the crowd for the upcoming bout. Once he had completed his silly indulgent absurdity, Matt hopped down from his perch and began any last minute prematch stretches that came to his mind as he waited for the match to begin.
Zach Davis: Looks to me like Matt Draven is ready for the new comer to the WCF! This should be a fairly entertaining opening match!
Freddy Whoa: Of course you would think it would be entertaining. Let me explain to you what this really is! This is of course to hype up our audience for what's coming later tonight because as we've seen we're going to have some wars on our hands. And the landscape after this event is over well let me just tell you I'm not going to be very comfortable after its over!
Zach Davis: You say that now but just think of what's to come!
Freddy Whoa: What's to come. Let's see, we can have what we've always had or something new. It's not hard to figure out Zach!
Zach Davis: Well I guess we're just going to have to pay attention to whatever that is then!
The beginning distorted intro of "Our Dance" by Wax Tailor plays through speaker system and the lights are cut as the screen shows random footage of decaying flowers in black and white.
Just when the music hits the repeated kick before the first verse, the lights flash four times to the rhythm, letting us see that the ramp and ringside have been crowded by the cloaked Nameless Hags.
The lights stay on when the verse kicks in, and out comes Tempest, stepping on to the stage and pausing to look around. She spreads her arms out and raises them up before taking a bow, then continues her strut down the ramp.
Placing one foot directly in front of the other, she sensualizes her hip movements as she approaches the ring. She slides into the ring and stands with a smile as she takes off the veil. She passes the veil to one of the Nameless Hags, who begins to walk up the ramp toward he back. Only two hooded hags stay at ringside, as the rest follow that one to the back.
Tempest lays on the top rope with visible lust, while one of the hooded hags reveals herself to be Noa Kanon and the other remains cloaked. Tempest gives a seductive grin to the ref as she waits for the match to begin.
Freddy Whoa: You know what's coming Zach. Either its exactly more of the same, and what you have come to expect or else its something brand new. In terms of the Hardcore Division we'll get to see why it can't move on if Odin wins, and if Wolf wins it seems like he wants to welcome all comers to that division. I guess time will tell, and ultimately we will get to see if the WCF wants to move forward, or stay in the same rut it's been in.
Zach Davis: That's really harsh Fred. I mean how can you think about the matches later in the night when we have this seductress and Matt Draven ready to go to battle.
Freddy Whoa: Because some things are more important. I don't think with my dick but obviously you do. So let's no waste any more time and actually get this show on the road.
DING! DING! DING!
Draven, and Razum go face to face, and we can see Draven laughing like he isn't going to hit a woman. Razum gives Draven a forced smile back, and then back hands him across the face! Draven stumbles back, and then comes forward with a brute kick that sends Razum doubling over! Draven quickly grabs her arm dragging her over to the ropes. Draven scales to the top and then comes off the rope delivering a tornado ddt to Razum. Razum is down momentarily but as she smiles she dusts herself off as she gets back to her feet. Razum hits the ropes and then comes off sending a vicious flying knee that connects to Draven. Draven is down and then rolls out of the ring. Razum, then takes off to the other side, and somer saults over the top rope landing on Draven on the floor. Razum then stands as the audience gives in to a cheer. Razum rolls back into the ring and stands. Draven is up, and Razum immediately tries for a baseball slide but this time Draven catches her pulling her outside of the ring. Draven picks up Razum in a big bear hug, and then rams her into the ring post. Razum falls down life lifeless as Draven throws an arm up in the air!
Zach Davis: Wow, I hate to say it but Razum is a cold bitch. And she is also tough as nails!
Freddy Whoa: Zach, is she just a cold bitch because she would turn down your advances? You have to be tough as nails to be in the WCF! That's a fucking given!
Zach Davis: What? I would never hit on that woman! Where is your sense of decency?
Freddy Whoa: Zach, you're lies are off of the charts now! I mean you hit on the flight attendants who are just trying to do their jobs! But that is neither here nor there. We all just get to laugh at your stupid ass!
Zach Davis: That's just not nice, and so unfair!
Freddy Whoa: Well what can I say? Life is unfair!
The ref begins the count but it doesn't take long for Razum to slide back into the ring. Draven is back on the attack! Draven with kicks to the head of Razum but Razum with a shoulder roll over, and Razum extends a kick out to the stomach of Draven! Draven stumbles backward, and Razum lands an arm drag sending Draven to the other side of the ring! Draven is up, and Razum attempts a drop kick but Draven grabs Razum sending her over for a spine buster! Razum winces and Draven attempts a pin but Razum kicks out with force! Draven looks down at Razum wide eye'd and surprised. Razum then delivers stiff forearm shots to the face of Draven as he quickly moves away. Draven immediately scales the top rope hoping to catch Razum off guard. As Razum approaches Draven comes off of the top turnbuckle with a cork screw moonsault, but Razum pulls Draven down extending both knees to his chin. Razum then turns over Draven and pins him as the ref counts
NO!!!! Draven kicks out!!!!!
Zach Davis: Draven had the right idea but Razum was ready for him. That is a very unique move. Not sure I've seen that before.
Freddy Whoa: True, and it was only a two count but we have to be asking ourselves is Draven okay after that nasty shot? It that corkscrew moonsault would have landed Draven might have had a leveraged pin!
Freddy Whoa: He didn't and I'm sure Razum will have that tacked onto the high light reel in her entrance video!
Freddy Whoa: There's no doubt her beauty holds no bounds but she's also deadly as hell! It will be interesting to see just where she goes after this even is over.
Zach Davis: Well if you ask me London just found its show stealer!
Freddy Whoa: Well, its a good thing nobody asked you!
Razum then gets a wicked gleam in her eye as she stands. Razum then raises up Draven sending a brutal knee to his face to send him back down. Razum then repeats this process until she thinks that Draven is in a daze! Razum grabs up Draven trying to whip him to the ropes but Draven doesn't budge. Razum tries again but Draven doesn't budge. Razum then tries for a rake to Draven's eyes but Draven blocks it sending Razum down into a falling neck breaker! Razum holds her head and her neck. Draven picks up Razum attempting a powerbomb but Razum reverses into a double arm face plant. Draven is down, and motionless. Razum then slashes her throat very slowly pointing over to Draven.
Draven rolls out of the ring and runs over to the other side. On the outside of the apron he is on the top turnbuckle. Draven tries for a 450 splash but all of a sudden Razum pops up catching Draven with the "Braucherie" and as Draven hits the mat Razum covers leveraging both legs high as the ref counts
Zach Davis: And Tempest Razum wins!
