Wrestler's name: Agustus D’Agosta
Gimmick:
Not much is known about Agustus until he appeared in the hills of Wyoming. Many speculate that he is running from something, others think he is crazy and escaped from a mental hospital; his followers think he is the next coming of Christ.
What we do know about Agustus is limited, but we do know that in 2016 his church of the righteous applied for tax exemption and was granted it, then had it revoked one year later. His followers have grown, and many now label it a cult.
His church began as nothing more than a building, but has sprawled out to encompass 100’s of square miles of fenced in land, and the fences keep growing, the land expanding. The local Sherriff’s office seems to support the group, helping keep the Federal agencies back. Rumor is that Agustus wants more though, the growth is too slow, he wants everyone to join the church of the Righteous, and he has devised a way to save the souls of everyone.
Height/weight:
6’3” 231 lbs
Hometown:
Unknown // resides in Sheridan County
Alignment (Face/heel/neutral):
Neutral
Appearance/attire:
Agustus comes to the ring wearing a long white overcoat. Inside the ring Agustus wears jeans, brown boots and no shirt. He wears no elbow pads and no gloves or knee pads.
Entrance and music:
No Halos by Black Water Rising
The mellow guitar intro of No Halos by Black Water Rising begins to play, the low words “Ain’t no, halos. Ain’t no Halo over anyone’s head, I don’t give a damn what your good book said. Ain’t no, halos. Ain’t no Halo over anyone’s head, I don’t give a damn what your good book said. Ain’t no hope for the sinner, no more hope!” Plays out. As the hard beat of the song picks up, the lights flicker and Agustus seems to appear on the stage. He moves to the ring with a pace matching the song, sliding under the bottom rope, and standing in the middle of the ring, his arms spread out as the chorus rings out through the stadium. “Ain’t no, halos. Ain’t no Halo over anyone’s head, I don’t give a damn what your good book said. Ain’t no, halos. Ain’t no Halo over anyone’s head, I don’t give a damn what your good book said. Ain’t no hope for the sinner, no more hope!”
Style :
Unorthodox Technical Wrestler // Agustus loves to create new moves, turning classics into something new with a twist // often times he is a man of opportunity, using his opponents own momentum against them to perform his next move.
Favorite Moves (At least 5):
Any variation of a quick suplex
All types of leg takedowns
Flying Shoulders/Clotheslines
Lou Thesz press // spear
Finisher and description:
Righteous Fury – Starts as a Razors edge, but before the slam the opponent is flipped forward face first into the mat like a dominator
