Raining Blood by Slayer plays and the bloodthirsty fans chant as WCF is live from the 2300 Arena one last time for the week!
Zach Davis: THE TIME HAS COME! The last night of the King of the Deathmatch Tournament before our finals at Slam!
Freddy Whoa: Corey Black has earned enough points to advance to the final. Otherwise Mikey eXtreme leads the pack BUT could be taken out by Odin Balfore or Psychopomp!
Zach Davis: That's right. If Mikey eXtreme wins, he's guaranteed to enter the finals against Corey. However, if he loses, then either Odin or Psychopomp gets it! So tensions are high.
Freddy Whoa: If in another set of circumstances Mikey eXtreme and Triple A would draw while either Odin or Pomp wins, that means we'd have to do a tiebreaker tomorrow night! Can you even imagine?
Zach Davis: I can't. I need a night off!
Freddy Whoa: We'll start the show with a CAGE OF DEATH match between two men with one of the biggest rivals in WCF history.... Adam Young and Corey Black. Can Corey Black go to the finals with a perfect record?
MATCH ONE CAGE OF DEATH MATCH ADAM YOUNG VS COREY BLACK
As we cut back to the 2300 arena, the final prepwork is being finished for the Cage of Death match. The cage itself is old school, black crossed steel bars make up the frame of the four sides of the cage. Inside the cage are various impliments of destruction. Tables, barbed wire, a full six foot long florescent light assembly including the 5 light tubes that have been placed into the fixture. There are steel folding chairs wrapped not in barbed wire, but RAZOR wire, a few 2x4's, some street signs, and a few bags containing unidentified items. Above the cage, attached to one side is a scaffolding which ALSO has a few impliments waiting for anyone daring enough to climb up there and retrieve them.
As the final inspection of the cage is completed, a large wooden crate that has been spraypainted black and purple is wheeled out from the back and taken into the ring. It reads "Corey Black" along the side of the crate.
Zack Davis: After five consecutive nights of GRUELING, BARBARIC competition this is the last stop ... perhaps the most insane match yet ... the Cage of Death.
Freddy Whoa: And it looks like Corey Black came prepared. Whatever is in that crate ... I don't envy Adam Young if Corey gets an opportunity to grab for his toys.
Zack Davis: After what these men have been through all week, I don't envy either of them. In an environment like this, it's anyone's ball game.
The house lights lower down to one single white light hitting the entrance.
Child's Voice-He's back!
"You can't judge a book by the cover" by Hank Williams Jr. starts playing and the single white light begins to flicker threw the smoke filling up the entrance. The jumbotron lights up with a waving American flag and the words "Revenge" written over it. Out steps Adam Young in his red, white, and blue camo pants, black combat boots, black "Common Folk" tee shirt, and black zipper hoodie over his head. Adam carries with him a large brown, beat up leather duffel bag slung over his shoulder. The song kicks in and Adam pulls the hood off his head and begins walking towards the ring with his famous icy stare towards the ring.
Fans- One Sick Bastard!
Adam arrives at the ring and circles it before climbing up on the ring apron where he wipes his feet before climbing into the ring. Adam walks to the center of the ring, dropping the duffel bag and throws his arms wide open before taking the hooded jacket off and handing it to Myra.
Zack Davis: Looks as though Adam Young brought his own bag of tricks as well. As if there isn't enough in that ring already to cause damage!
"The Way of Vikings" hits the PA as the lights drop and purple lights illuminate the arena. A few moments later Corey Black emerges from the backstage area wearing a black leather vest to match his all black wrestling attire and with Nikki Venus by his side. The crowd cheers along with great appreciation as Corey and Nikki make their way to the ring. Black slides in while Nikki takes her place in his corner on the floor. Corey drops his vest to her and simply waits in the corner near his crate for the bell to ring.
Freddy Whoa: Here we go!
As the bell sounds, Adam wastes no time in heading straight for Black as he charges his long time rival. Corey doesn't give him the chance to get the jump however as he just sends a well placed kick to Adam's gut and hoists him up ...
Zack Davis: He's going for the BURNING HAMMER! Right off the bat!
Freddy Whoa: He's not playing any games ... Adam's in dire straits and this match JUST got under way.
Black holds Young on his shoulders in burning hammer position as he decides where the most devastating spot to drop him will be. It's takes him less than a second to decide on the razor wire wrapped chairs as he shifts himself to PLANT Young and end this before it even began. However as Adam was struggling over Corey's shoulders, he managed to wriggle something out of his pocket and he BLASTS Black's face and eyes with pepper spray!
Zack Davis: Adam had it scouted ... he knew what was coming and he took desperate measures! But now things are in his favor.
Corey immediately lets go of Adam who simply drops to his feet. Black is rubbing at his eyes, stunned and now unable to see. Young takes full advantage of this and hooks Black up reverse DDT style and drops him, mostly his back ... onto the razor wire wrapped chairs! Corey groans out in agony as the razors rip and tear at his flesh. Young doesn't waste a moment of time as he instantly hooks the legs and lays his weight over Black for the pinfall, forcing Corey's back deeper into the razor wire.
Black powers a shoulder up with a grunt of wincing pain.
Freddy Whoa: That was smart by Adam Young ... picking up a victory early saves your body ... but also an opportunity to keep Corey Black grounded is an opportunity you don't pass up.
Zack Davis: Near fall but not enough to put away the legend.
With Black down, and still very much blinded by the pepper spray, Adam decides to find out exactly what was inside Black's crate of goodies and makes his way over to it. Unfortunately for him, this thing was guarded like some epic rare cache out of Dungeons and Dragons as a very LARGE padlock kept it's contents out of Adam's reach. The padlock ... a giant skull with the nose being the place for ... you guessed it: a skeleton key.
Young kicks the crate in frustration as he was unable to gain access. Instead he goes to his own duffel bag and removes a bag of straight up thumbtacks. He holds the bag high as he returns to Corey's crate and empties the tacks over the top of it.
Freddy Whoa: If he can't get to Corey's weapons, he's going to make his own weapon out of it.
Zack Davis: He's wasting a lot of time now. Giving Black time to recover.
Indeed, Corey Black had managed to peel himself away from the razor wire and was starting back to his feet. However he was far from having clear vision just yet. Still rubbing at his eyes and wishing he had some water to flush them as Young just reveled in this advantage he'd created for himself.
Young BLASTS Corey across the head with a No Parking sign that sends him back down to the canvas.
Freddy Whoa: Adam Young is relentless right now and Corey Black can't get into the game because he's still trying to get rid of the effects of that pepper spray.
Adam hauls Corey back to his feet and RUNS him FULL force into the cage wall, SMACKING Corey's head into it. As Black bounces off from the force, Young runs him into the other side of the cage, BLASTING him into that one! The entire time he's screaming at Black.
Adam Young: YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME? YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER?!
On the return from this one, Young grabs Corey from behind, delivering a German Suplex than lands Black into the side of his own crate, but luckily not on top of it, avoiding the thumbtacks. Young again for a pinfall attempt. Ref into position.
Black again forces a shoulder up!
Zack Davis: Another near fall, wow this I did NOT expect!
Freddy Whoa: You telling me? I mean ... damn.
Young looks frustrated with the count but shrugs it off as he heads back over to his duffel bag, STILL yelling at Black and how Corey is not better than him ... and then something about shitty music.
Freddy Whoa: What the hell he got now?
Adam reaches into his duffel bag and removes several Taylor Swift compact discs, looking at them in disgust.
Freddy Whoa: Who the hell uses CD's anymore? Everyone has iTunes.
Zack Davis: Apparently, Adam Young ... who remains as old school as they come.
Young starts taking the discs and CHUCKING them at Corey one after another. He hits Black in the ribs, the leg, the arms and one even catches Corey in the forehead, creating a gash.
Freddy Whoa: MAN! If this deathmatch thing doesn't work out, Adam might wanna think about looking for a pitching position for the Texas Rangers. That last one HAD to be about ninety miles an hour!
Zack Davis: I ... I never thought I would ever be uttering these words in my professional career but ... Adam Young is currently wiping the floor with Corey Black.
Freddy Whoa: That doesn't even sound natural ...
Zack Davis: I don't even know anymore.
Adam heads back over to Black after the compact disc chucking rampage and begins STOMPING all over the Taylor Swift CD's ... cracking and breaking them into multiple pieces. He continues to yell and scream at Black as he rips the sleeve booklets to shreds and scattering torn pieces of "Tay Tay" everywhere. Young walks back across the ring, slapping his hand against his right knee as he worked out the kinks, setting Corey up for a knee to the head against his own crate.
Freddy Whoa: This is gonna be bad ...
Zack Davis: That pepper spray has effectively made this match Adam Young's own personal playground.
Young readies himself as he grabs hold of one of the bars along the cage and gets himself a few starts. As he does, the adrenaline coursing through Corey after being split open begins to set in and he is finally able to focus his eyes enough to see what was going on. The first thing he sees are shredded images of Taylor Swift strewn about in front of him. His eyes narrow in a deep, completely metal RAGE as Young begins his charge.
Freddy Whoa: Uh oh ...
Zack Davis: I think Adam Young is about to be in ...
It's almost as if Zack Davis' voice faded away for the last word he was about to say and was replaced by Taylor Swift herself "Trouble, Trouble, Trouble!"
Young charges Black for the knee. But Corey shoots up and catches Yound mistep ... with an EPIC POWERSLAM, right ONTO Corey's crate which was now littered in thumbtacks! Young screams out in agony as his body is driven into the crate and HUNDREDS of tacks pierce his flesh!
Freddy Whoa: Now Adam Young is in for it. That pepper spray only lasted so long. Now Corey Black is in this thing and that means a world of hurt for Adam Young!
Zack Davis: Adam's tactic worked, and he was able to inflict a lot of damage. But Corey's resilience was able to withstand the storm. Now we're going to find out what Adam Young is made of.
Black doesn't allow Young any time to even register the pain that is cousring through his body right now as he pulls Young off of the crate and RAMS him into the post. Young staggers back and Black now RAMS him into the other post. Adam again staggers back and Black takes up one of the very razor wire chairs he'd earlier been exposed to and ....
Right across the back of the head of Adam Young. In fact, Young doesn't even fall forward right away because the razor wire catches some of his hair and the back of his scalp. Black SHOVES Young forward away from the chair to send him down which RIPS away some of the scalp AND hair that was covering it.
Freddy Whoa: *cringing* That was ... ugggghhhh that was just nasty!
Zack Davis: These matches just get more brutal every night ... this one takes the cake. I don't even have words right now.
Black collects a VERY dazed and bleeding Young from the canvas and walks him over to the cage wall. Using the cage and the ropes, he positions Young with his arms trapped behind the openings of the cage and using the middle rope to elastically snap him there in place, unable to move. The crowd begins to cheer and murmur with some excitement.
Freddy Whoa: What's he got in mind here?
Corey heads over to his crate and for a moment it seems like he is going to go for what is inside, but he holds a finger up and wags it a few times, shaking his head as if to say "not yet." Instead, Corey takes his attention to the bags of items which were still a mystery to the crowd. He opens the sack and has a look inside ... his expression almost seems like that of disappointment. He shrugs and decides it'll work as he empties the bag which contained some snow globes.
Freddy Whoa: Christmas in August?
Black takes up the first snowglobe and SMASHES it over Adam's face. The glass and liquid contents shattering all over Young and busting him wide open. Black takes another FIVE snowglobes and repeats ... SMASHING them over Young's face. By this point, Adam Young is completely out of it and Black undoes the middle rope, letting him slump down to the canvas.
Zack Davis: It's over folks ... Adam Young is barely moving right now. I don't know if you realize the pressure behind a snowglode but there was just SIX shots to his head. That's all she wrote.
Freddy Whoa: His brains are scrambled and this one is done.
Black places a foot over Young's chest triumphantly as the ref gets into position.
Black removes his foot from his foe and shakes his head. The crowd cheers as they realize he was indicating this wasn't enough recourse just yet.
Zack Davis: Oh boy ...
Freddy Whoa: Corey isn't ready to be finished with this one just yet. Sucks to be you, Adam Young.
With Adam down and out, Black now DOES head to his crate and removes a skeleton key from his wrist tape. The crowd again erupts as he unlocks his epic crate. He reaches in and he pulls out a medieval style mace. This piece was done with legendary craftsmanship. The spiked ball of iron pristine, and the heavy chain holding it to the rod was spiked as well. The rod itself a spindle of serpents with rubies as placement for their eyes.
Freddy Whoa: I realize this is anything goes ... but I am pretty sure that thing would actually murder Adam Young.
Zack Davis: There is no way we can allow this to happen. This is too much, even if it IS King of the Deathmatch ... we don't need an actual DEATH!
Corey smirks looking at it, and shakes his head mouthing "Too easy" before placing the mace back into the crate. He reaches in again and removes a medieval Battle Axe. The entire piece done in silver with black iron wrappings on the handle which was shaped as a femur bone surrounded by two silver dragons. Their eyes were made of onyx. Corey also shakes his head at this weapon and smirks before placing it back into his crate.
Freddy Whoa: This is getting bad ... very bad ...
Corey reaches into his crate a final time and what he removes stuns the entire crowd, including the announce team. As he pulls his hands up from within the crate he is holding a polished mahogany mallet ... or "hammer" if you will. It is wrapped in steel bindings and is about four times the size of Thor's hammer. The pristine shine that comes from the hammer is unmistakable and Corey lifts it above his head with pride.
Zack Davis: OH ... MY ... GOD!
Freddy Whoa: The Banhammer! THE BANHAMMER IS REAL!!!!!
The ring remains illuminated to those watching on the WCF network, but those in attendance would swear to you that as Corey removed his glorious hammer, the arena went dark and the only light being shone upon the building came from the hammer itself.
Adam Young had been pulling himself up using the cage and as he turns around, Corey swings his hammer at Adam with the force of Hercules trying to send Cerberus back to Hades. The hammer CONNECTS with Adam's gut and he is LIFTED from the canvas with a force like no other and stumbles back into the cage and fall flat.
Zack Davis: I can't even describe what I just saw ... but Adam Young is FINISHED!
Freddy Whoa: I ... I thought it was just a myth ... just a figure of speech. I have to rethink my entire life now!
Corey carefully places his hammer back into his crate and again walks over to Young who is down and out. Corey places his foot over Young once again and this time does a superhero type pose to display his dominance as the ref slides into position.
Black removes his foot after just a one count. The ref looks puzzled, as does everyone else ... that is UNTIL they realize what had just caught Corey's attention.
Zack Davis: This one could be over right now but Corey is NOT finished ... he's looking at those lights.
Freddy Whoa: I think he's trying to retire Adam Young, not just beat him.
Black pulls his crate to the center of the ring and leans one of the tables against it on an angle. Not satisfied with just this, he also places the FULL six foot light fixture over the table with all the florescent tubes in tact. Using the spooled barbed wire, he ties the light fixture to the table and then if all of that wasn't bad enough ... what he does next is most shocking.
Zack Davis: No! No! Come on!
Freddy Whoa: Looks like we still might have that murder ...
Black takes the cord to the fixture and walks near the side of the cage, demanding a stagehand to hand him an extension.
Zack Davis: Don't do it!
The only cords available were running off of the main feed that supplied ALL aspects of show production. So we're taking about running an extention off of a 10 inch wide cable carrying hundreds of thousands of volts.
Freddy Whoa: I don't even wanna see this man.
Reluctantly, the stagehand obliges and Corey plugs the florescent light fixture in! The entire ring now is brightened and it is somewhat hard to see everything. Corey moves in to collect Young and the crowd is going wild already knowing Black would be looking for a Burning Hammer here.
Zack Davis: I can't watch this either ...
As he pulls Adam up to his knees, Adam sends an UPPERCUT to Corey's groin! Black doubles over and now Adam Young has a chance!
Freddy Whoa: Whoa! I can't even believe that ... Young is back in this!
Black grunts and groans as Young scampers to his duffel bag once again and removes a jar. There is a red substance in the jar that seems to be swishing around, or just flat out moving.
Zack Davis: What is that? Hot sauce?
Freddy Whoa: Jam?
Black manages back to his feet still in a good deal of pain after being low blowed. But that wasn't the worst of his problems as Young removes the lid from the jar and tosses the contents at Corey.
Freddy Whoa: Wait ... WHAT?!
Zack Davis: FIRE ANTS! HE JUST THREW FIRE ANTS AT COREY BLACK!
Black immediately begins to scramble and try and brush off the ants who bite him by the hundreds and even thousands. This allows Young some time to regroup.
Freddy Whoa: Of all the things you can even imagine to see in this type of match .... fire ants? Holy shit!
Young does take this time to recooperate as he again goes for his bag, removing a six pack of Shiner Bock beer from the duffel ... and he opens a bottle, pouring it over his head the way someone would pour water over themselves to refresh. The remaining five beers, he drinks part of them but doesn't seem to waste much time focusing on drinnking. Moreso, whatever he managed to get into his mouth. The REAL purpose of his binge drink becomes clear when he takes the bottles and SMASHES them over the corner of Corey's crate. He leaves every shattered piece on the canvas in a group.
Zack Davis: I have a feeling Adam Young wasn't looking to drink away his pain.
Freddy Whoa: Oh hell no, he has nothing but bad ideas in mind.
Black manages to brush away a decent amount of the fire ants as he turns into Young who hooks him up and ...
Zack Davis: REDNECK RIVIERA!
He PLANTS Corey Black with the driver, FACE FIRST onto the broken beer bottle pieces. He immediately rolls Black over and hooks the leg.
Black's shoulder came up ... but seemingly just shy of beating the count.
Zack Davis: IT'S OVER! IT'S OVER! UPSET OF THE CENTURY! ADAM YOUNG WINS!
Freddy Whoa: Oh my God ... just ... WHOA!
Zack Davis: Wait a minute!!!
Adam Young throws his hands up in celebration! But the ref cuts that short explaining it was only a two count.
Zack Davis: Wait what?
As commentary tries to figure it out a replay is broadcast over the WCF network clearly showing Black's shoulder coming up before the ref hit three ... and apparently, the ref noticed!
Freddy Whoa: It's not over! Corey Black is STILL in this thing!
Zack Davis: That was CLOSE! Wow ... my heart skipped a beat, I thought it was an upset.
Young is FLIPPING his SHIT! He is LOSING IT! He is about to tear out more of his hair that wasn't already torn out by the razor wire chair earlier. Black did kick out but he was still a mess. Both men were mostly crimson by now head to toe and both had fire ants on them, with most of the ants being scattered in the ring now. Gashes on Corey and Adam had had plenty of time to flow with the adrenaline which ensured none of those wounds would be closing up soon.
Like a madman, Young finally decides on something ... he starts removing the razor wire from one of the steel chairs and wrapping his own body with it!
Freddy Whoa: What the hell is he doing?!
Zack Davis: I ... I don't know.
Young wraps the razor wire around his torso and abdomen before beginning to climb the cage toward the scaffolding.
Zack Davis: No! He can't be ... this is insanity!
Freddy Whoa: He's looking for Adam's perfection ... and if he hits that moonsault with all that razor wire around him, this is a done deal!
Zack Davis: That's gotta be twenty feet up ... don't do it!
Adam continues to ascend and the crowd is in awe at what he is attempting to do. However, he hadn't noticed that Corey Black was now back to his feet and was in hot pursuit.
Freddy Whoa: Corey is climbing the cage now! This can't end well!
Zack Davis: There was enough damage done on the ground ... this is suicide!
Young reaches the top for his moonsault and when he glances back to measure Corey he realizes Corey was only half a step behind him. As Black makes it to the scaffold, Young BLASTS him with heavy forearms to keep him grounded. Black scrambles himself onto the scaffold but Young keeps on the pressure with the repeated blows.
Freddy Whoa: Nothing good comes out of either of those men being up there.
Zack Davis: How either of them are even still moving at all, I'll never know.
Young sends various blows at Corey who had not been able to make a vertical base since reaching to top of the scaffold. Young hauls him up and hooks the arms for another REDNECK RIVIERA from the TOP OF THE CAGE!!!
Zack Davis: OH MY GOD!
Freddy Whoa: No fucking way!
Adam hooks the arms, but Corey spins out before he can fully hook them and instead, Corey hauls Adam up .... BURNING HAMMER!
Zack Davis: ...
Freddy Whoa: ...
OFF of the scaffold and down THROUGH the barbed wire wrapped LIVE florescent light fixture and table! The glass to the lights EXPLODES in a cloud of dust and sparks fly EVERYWHERE as the voltage being sent through the fixture was released into the open. The table snaps in half and BOTH Corey and Adam lay in a HEAP as smoke and dust debris fill the air from the BLASTING SURGE of electrical discharge of the lights as well as the explosion of the florescent tubes.
Young is not moving at all, and Black is in JUST as bad shape after that plunge. He is able to BARELY drape an arm over Young and the ref counts his duties.
The bell rings.
Zack Davis: Corey Black wins! But at what cost? Both of these men are a MESS!
Freddy Whoa: I have no idea how he managed to make that cover after what we just witnessed but I'll be damned, Corey Black just upped the level of badass to a whole new platform.
As the match is declared medics rush out to the ring to tend to both men, who are severely injured with a major loss of blood. The crowd continues to chant and we end the night with their final one ...
MATCH TWO TEIPEI DEATHMATCH ODIN BALFORE VS PSYCHOPOMP
“ With Oden On Our Side” Hit’s the PA system. The arena grows dark as the fans get to their feet to catch a glimpse of the stage. The fans stand and cheer an once the vocals starts, the arena lights flash back on and there stands Odin Balfore, centre stage. Odin stares down at the ring with a sinister grin as the fans sing along with the chorus.
Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!
Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!
The fans pop insanely right after as Odin begins to walk down the ramp at a slow an methodical pace. Once he gets to the foot of the ring, he steps up on it and looks around the arena again before stepping over the ropes..
Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist...
Odin cuts off the fans as he raises his hand in triumph. Odin turns back to the ring as the fans finish their part.
Crowd: The battle is.. already won!
Odin stares down his opponent as he waits for the match to get underway.
The lights goes out and Bleed Well of H.I.M starts playing from the speakers. Beams of lights of different color starts going off to the rhythm of the guitar and Psychopomp jumps in the middle of the entrance. The lights turns back on back and he walks towards the ring.
Zach Davis: This one isn't going to be pretty.
Both Odin Balfore's fists and Psychopomp's fists have been taped up and have glass shards now embedded. The two pace each other.
Freddy Whoa: I do believe this is WCF's first ever Teipei deathmatch. It isn't something that happens a lot in pro wrestling.
Odin Balfore takes a swing at Pomp, and Pomp deftly avoids it. Pomp takes a jab of his own that Odin avoids.
Zach Davis: We've already seen both of these men go through hell. This match will be short and most likely brutal.
Odin Balfore runs at Psychopomp now, desperate to get the first strike in and get momentum. Odin goes for a Big Boot but Pomp has that scouted and ducks it. Odin turns towards Pomp who punches him in the face.
Odin is already bleeding. He gets knocked down, but he gets up again. Nothing is ever gonna keep him down. But Pomp has something to prove and punches him again!, and again Odin goes down and gets back up. Odin angrily goes for another Big Boot, this time catching Pomp unaware and taking his head off.
Freddy Whoa: Forget the glass shards, Psychopomp may have just been decapitated!
Odin pins Pomp.
No!, Pomp kicks out.
Zach Davis: Whoever wins this knows they have a chance to make it into the finals. Psychopomp is here to prove himself and prove he belongs and Odin Balfore is here to fulfill what he believes is the destiny of the tournament and meet Corey in the finals.
Odin bends down and starts punching Pomp in the back of the head. Blood begins to stain Psychopomp's hair red. Odin lifts him up and shoves him into the turnbuckle and goes for a wild swing but Psychopomp ducks away from that, rolling away. Pomp gets up and as Odin turns Pomp runs at him and hits the Kitchen Sink strike. Odin goes down and as he gets back up Psychopomp hits him with a chop!
And another chop!
Odin's chest is now bleeding from the glass shard chops.
Freddy Whoa: Those chops ALWAYS turn a chest red but not like this. I think he just chopped Odin's nipples off.
Pomp hits Odin in the face once more before running to the ropes.
Zach Davis: Stargazer knee!
Odin slaps the knee away and ends up behind Pomp, Odin grabs him by the throat as he turns around.
Freddy Whoa: Glass digging into Pomp's throat.. The air being choked out of him..
Zach Davis: RAGNAROK!
Odin drops down and pins Psychopomp.
Freddy Whoa: PSYCHOPOMP KICKS OUT! OH MY GOD!
Zach Davis: How in the hell!?
No one can believe it! Odin's eyes go wide. He lifts Pomp up so he's sitting on the mat and starts punching him in the forehead over and over, glass digging into him each time. Pomp's face is a bloody mess after only a few moments, and each new punch sends blood splurting everywhere. Odin's fists are stained red. Odin backs off and waits for Pomp to get to his feet.
Freddy Whoa: Can Pomp even do it? Is he that tough?
He is! Pomp gets to his feet, his vision blurred, and takes wild swings, barely knowing where he is. Odin is ready to put him away.
Zach Davis: SURTR'S REVENGE!
NO!, Pomp was playing possum and has more mental facility than it seemed and is able to grab Odin's arm and take him down into the Crossface.
Freddy Whoa: HANDS OF FAITH! HANDS OF FAITH APPLIED WITH THE GLASS!
Glass digs into Odin's face while he's locked into what is normally one of the most painful submissions in the first place!
Crowd: PLEASE DON'T TAP! PLEASE DON'T TAP!
Zach Davis: I can barely watch this...
Blood streams down Odin's face as he yells out in agony. Pomp cranks on the move and looks like he wants to tear Odin's head off his body.
Freddy Whoa: Nothing is worth this. Just give up Odin.
But Odin refuses. He works his way up. Pomp won't let go until Odin is able to shove him off. Pomp hits the ropes and runs back torwards Odin and Odin fires off another knockout punch.
Zach Davis: SURTR'S REVENGE! HE HITS IT THIS TIME!
Odin pins Pomp.
Freddy Whoa: Thank God. It's over.
Zach Davis: God had nothing to do with this.
Medics begin attending to both men as Odin's music plays. Blood begins pooling beneath both unmoving bodies.
Freddy Whoa: Odin now has six points.
Zach Davis: Let's take a break.... wow.
The fans give both men a standing ovation as we go to a promo for Revenge.
MATCH THREE GLASS PANE MATCH MIKEY EXTREME VS TRIPLE A
The lights begin to slowly go off, section by section, until the arena is completely black. "Get Born Again" by Alice in Chains blares over the PA system as the lights on the stage begin to slowly flash on and off. Mikey eXtreme steps out onto the stage with his arms held out and his head titled back as he looks to the ceiling. Vidalia and Freakshow flank him as they make their way ringside.
Kyle Steel: Making his way down to the ring being accompanied by Vidalia and Freakshow, hailing from Brooklyn, New York and weighing in at 225 lbs, Mikey eXtreme!
Mikey ignores the fans trying to reach out to touch him. He throws the kendo stick into the ring and rolls under the bottom rope, crawling to the corner where he sits laughing and rocking back and forth. Freakshow circles the ring as Vidalia whispers some kind of plan into Mikey's ear.
Arena goes black..Instead of Alter Bridge at the beginning, its @@@ and under neath "Adrian Augustus Archer" Then the video proceeds as normal with the Words "The Purge" appearing in gothic above the action..The beginning guitar plays then when the song kicks in, pyro and smoke come from the back..@@@ comes out, faces the ramp, arms slowly rise then come down down fast with Pyro shots from either side as the words kick in..He walks quickly down to the ring, focused..he slides under the bottom rope..climbs the rope and plays to the crowd shouting "We Want a Leader!!!" then he walks to the corner and takes off his long black coat, and prepares for the match..
Zach Davis: This is the main event of the evening, and everything comes down to this.
Freddy Whoa: If Mikey wins here, he goes onto the final match against Corey Black and can avenge his loss. Meanwhile, if he loses, Odin Balfore's destiny is fulfilled and he gets that honor.
Zach Davis: Not to mention that Triple A is one step closer to his Purge.
There are four glass panes set up outside the ring and four glass panes leaning against each turnbuckle.
Freddy Whoa: After Odin and Psychopomp I wouldn't really want to see any more glass but here we are...
Mikey and Triple A circle the ring, very cautious of one another. They tie up.
Zach Davis: Triple A doesn't have the best record in this tournament BUT he's proven he's one of the toughest son of a bitches in the company just by getting here. You can see Mikey eXtreme knows he's dangerous. Everyone else on the roster should be taking note.
Mikey gets the upper hand and shoves Triple A towards the glass but Triple A shoves Mikey away. Triple A tackles Mikey down and starts hitting him with a flurry of punches.
Freddy Whoa: Mikey eXtreme fought to a draw earlier in the tournament. If that happens again we will have Odin Balfore vs Mikey eXtreme tomorrow night. If either men remain medically cleared to wrestle after tonight, because who knows.
Triple A rolls off and Mikey fights to his feet. Triple A motions for Mikey to bring it and Mikey angrily charges him. Triple A sidesteps him and uses Mikey's momentum to throw him into one of the glass panes!, which shatters instantly!
Zach Davis: DAMN!
Freddy Whoa: TRIPLE A SUCKERED HIM IN! TOLD YOU HE WAS DANGEROUS!
Mikey flipped - the same kind of flip someone would normally do if they were going to go over the turnbuckle and land on the apron - so his back went through the glass, which shattered into multiple pieces. Triple A pulls him away from the shards to pin him.
No!, Mikey kicked out.
Zach Davis: Just like the earlier match, I don't expect this to go long. But how will either of these men beat the other?
Triple A grabs one of the smaller glass shards and starts digging it into Mikey's forehead. Mikey, who typically enjoys pain, is forced to yell out. A trickle of blood begins going down his face.
Freddy Whoa: Uuugghh.
Triple A throws the glass away and starts stomping on Mikey before lifting him up and hitting a stiff punch to Mikey's open wound, causing the blood to flow even more freely. Mikey swings but Triple A ducks it and kicks him in the gut before DDTing him back down.
Zach Davis: So far Triple A is firmly in control. Mikey made one mistake early on and it cost him.
Mikey rolls out of the ring, looking to regroup. Triple A rolls out after him but as he approaches Mikey, Mikey hits him with a mule kick.
Freddy Whoa: Mikey gives new definition to "dirties player in the game," as this entire tournament he's been finding new ways to cheat his opponents. From climbing over Pomp's body to avoid the barbed wire to using light tubes from earlier in the night that weren't for his match.
Mikey throws Triple A into the ring steps. Triple A crashes into them and starts getting back up - until Mikey runs at him and hits him with a Shining Wizard! They're near one of the glass panes set up and Mikey rolls Triple A onto it.
Zach Davis: What does he have in mind?
Mikey backs up a little before running, jumping onto the guardrail and then jumping onto Triple A, hitting an Elbow Drop!, shattering the glass!
Freddy Whoa: WHOA!
Triple A yells out severe pain.
Zach Davis: Who knows what happens when you go through the glass like that.. Glass could be stuck in him for all we know.
Mikey picks Triple A up and rolls him into the ring. Mikey goes for the pin.
Freddy Whoa: NO!, kickout! Somehow.
Triple A starts to stumble up and Mikey runs at him and Clotheslines him down. He starts to get up again and this time Mikey gets into a familiar position.
Zach Davis: He's ready for X Marks the Spot, his Superkick...
Mikey goes for the kick!, but Pomp ducks it. Mikey keeps going and his leg goes through one of the glass panes in the corner!
Freddy Whoa: .... WHOA!
Mikey yells out as his leg goes through the glass and gets even more cut up as he instinctively pulls it away. He backs up and into the waiting arms of Triple A who twists him up.
Zach Davis: VERTABREAKER! ONTO THE REMAINS OF THE GLASS!
Triple A drops down and pins Mikey.
NO! MIKEY KICKS OUT!
Freddy Whoa: How in the hell...
Triple A lifts Mikey up and shoves him back into the corner. He runs at him and hits a Spinning Heel Kick. He ends up landing on the apron.
Zach Davis: BULLS EYE!
NO!, Mikey has it scouted and backs up so Triple A lands on the mat. Mikey leans into the ropes and runs at him and hits his eXtinguished Dropkick!
Freddy Whoa: This has to be it!
Mikey goes for the pin.
NO!, kickout by Triple A!
Zach Davis: I'd say these men are tough as nails but it would probably give someone the idea to have some kind of match involving nails. But seriously.
Mikey lifts Triple A up and grabs him by the back of the neck.
Freddy Whoa: EXPLOSION!
NO!, as Mikey has Triple A gripped, Triple A rams himself backwards and crashes Mikey through another one of the glass panes in the corner!
Zach Davis: TRIPLE A HAD THE EXPLOSION SCOUTED! And he just sent Mikey through another sheet of glass!
Triple A pins Mikey now.
NO! MIKEY KICKS OUT!
Freddy Whoa: What do these men have to do?
There is only one glass pane left in the ring. Triple A goes outside the ring and grabs one of the sheets of glass from out there and slides it in. He then grabs another one and slides that in too.
Zach Davis: What is he thinking here?
Mikey is starting to get up and Triple A quickly executes a Neckbreaker to take him back down and buy himself more time. He sets up two of the glass panes on their side and then puts the last on top, so he has set up a glass table.
Freddy Whoa: I don't like where this is headed.
He picks Mikey up and puts him in a Full Nelson.
Zach Davis: Is he going to hit a Full Nelson Facebuster into the glass table!? Oh my God...
Mikey jabs himself away from it!, both men turning to face each other, Mikey knowing he saved his own life there. He quickly snaps off a SUPERKICK!, but Triple A ducks that and lifts him up for a Death Valley Driver.
Freddy Whoa: @nnihi@TOR@!
NO!, Mikey shifts his weight and lands behind Triple A!, once again saving himself. Mikey trips Triple A up and then runs to the ropes and hits a second eXtinguished kick as Triple A is getting back up!
Zach Davis: Triple A has taken everything Mikey eXtreme has dished out and kept coming back. Again, what more do these men have to do?
Freddy Whoa: Everything is on the line here.
Mikey rolls Triple A onto the table of glass, carefully positioning his body. Mikey climbs to the top as quickly as he can.
Zach Davis: No...
Mikey takes one deep breath before flying off the top.
Freddy Whoa: EXIT STRATEGY THROUGH THE GLASS TABLE!!!
All three panes of glass shatter as both men crash through them. Mikey's body lands on top of Triple A's.
Zach Davis: It's over. Mikey eXtreme... He's done it.
As per usual with every single match of this tournament the medics are checking on both men.
Freddy Whoa: At Slam, Mikey eXtreme will go one on one with the only man able to beat him in this tournament, Corey Black, for the first ever WCF King of the Deathmatch trophy.
Zach Davis: Hats off to everyone in this tournament... Odin Balfore proved he could still go, Triple A and Psychopomp proved they not only belong here - but can thrive here - and Adam Young gave us a hell of a match with Corey Black.
Freddy Whoa: This whole tournament was Adam Young's idea. He's a sick bastard.
Zach Davis: One more match left to go. We've seen barbed wire, fire, electric, cages, glass, but at Slam... we get C4. See you then.
The show fades to black as both battered, bloody men are loaded onto stretchers.
Jayson Price: Pretty sure Black set it that nobody new can join. Or at least they can attempt to, but they can't do anything unless it's approved. Which essentially cuts off any guests.

The Risen: Shit, I had no idea WCF shut down. I was only here for a few months, but it was a fun few months. Hope y'all are doing well.
