Recorded Phone Call #1.
Nathan Chambers: Don't tell me you're on the same side as everyone else. I don't pay you to lecture me. I pay you for media obligations only so don't sit there, and pretend like you know what's best for me. I decide what's best for me, and this Sunday on Slam is the best thing going for me unlike the terrible bookings you're offering right now. What came across your mind that I would even want to be on The View? That's one of the most terrible talk shows with series of guests that are tragically horrible. Even Nicole Arbour landed a guest starring.
Agent: I'm sorry but I draw the line. You're throwing your future away all for Professional Wrestling that isn't even a booming market. It's a dying market Nathan, and what happened in Mexico is a perfect example. I gave you multiple opportunities to just avoid the embarrassing loss you had at Blast. Ellen, MTV, so many opportunities.
Nathan Chambers: Opportunities like that come, and go. They'll call back. It's Hollywood. They always want to run the same program over, and over. No wonder the views get bored but a World Title shot? That's VERY hard to come by. Some are barely able to even make a contendership match but I took it because it was my sixth match against two great competitors, and the finals of the WCF Classic Tournament. You don't get it. The biggest trophy up to grabs, and I couldn't pass it up.
Agent: Nathan! It doesn't matter. Many people would kill to be in your shoes right now. You don't know how much success you have, and you're throwing it on wrestling? Weigh the outcomes man. It doesn't add up. You're going to be facing Mikey eXtreme who is a strong opponent, and former three time WCF United States Champion. The guy wants your head on a silver platter, and I don't want to see my client up in the blogs being slammed by losers who like to tease you any chance they get. Just forget this match, and come back to Hollywood.
Nathan Chambers: Listen! You're asking me to go against what I've been trying to do, and that's remove imperfection in WCF. Mikey eXtreme is one of the biggest imperfections I need to erase. He needs to be set as an example to those who challenge me for MY WCF Perfection Championship. You're doing your job but I have mine to fulfill. I'm not going to let a man who can't grasp what I'm doing set back what I'm trying to build. Mikey is an imperfect image I have to destroy, and I'll do everything in my power to ensure that my title reign will be forever until the day I die.
Agent: Listen to yourself! You're getting into a fight with a crazy homicidal bastard. Didn't you see what he did to Bernard Core, and Chelsea Armstrong? Vengeance? All of them are gone because of him. I don't want the same happening to you.
Nathan Chambers: On paper, this battle could be a lost cause. I understand that but now the tables have turned, and the advantage is in my own court. Mikey doesn't know what I can bring to this match. The Hardcore Rules are on my court because Perfection can do whatever it wants but imperfection has to go through a very ugly metamorphosis. Mikey is the definition of imperfect. A homeless looking, expletive abusing, and even woman beating competitor with no regards for others, and an obsession with violence outside of the ring. Hell, there's even rumors that he's gone psycho. Seeing people during a match that he calls managers so yeah. A psycho maniac like him would be the perfect choice to try, and take away the Perfection title.
But...Mikey's just another imperfect pawn in this game of chest that the board has set up by Perfection itself. I don't know what else I have to say. I'm going to let my actions speak for themselves. World Title contender before he ever was, Classic Tournament Finalist, and Hardcore Champion. He's just not ready to face me, and he knows it so he'll go on, and on about how I was never Hardcore. The punchline to his joke that even though he competed in hardcore matches all his life, I've never competed in one, and I STILL won it before he ever did. Not really looking good on paper for Mikey isn't.
Agent: That's what this is all about? Imperfection?
Nathan Chambers: It was ALWAYS about it, and it still is. I'm not letting my Perfection be titled be ruined. I threw away the original Hardcore Title belt, and I have something new in the works. Mikey, and anyone else who wants it can go looking in the mountains of Hollywood to find it but for those who want a better division, they can come to WCF, and I will gladly introduce the door as they exit with their heads hanged low, and disappointment written all over their faces. I don't know what I got to say more. I think you're grasping the idea. Mikey is a white rabbit being cornered by its prey so he's squealing, and doing anything to distract the predator from striking him but this predator doesn't care. He just wants blood, and Mikey was at the wrong place, and wrong time...just like you.
Agent: Wha-what are you talking about?
Nathan Chambers: You showed disrespectful attitude, raised your voice, told me what I shouldn't do, and defended an imperfect man because you don't want to lose the money you're making. So. You're going out too. You want to defend Mikey, join him in the depression station. I'm not wasting my time on imperfections like you, and him. You both deserve each other after Sunday when you're out in the streets begging for a job.
Agent: Wait a minute..Nathan wait--
Nathan Chambers: You're fired, bye!
