I know I've done a thread on these before, but there is a new show that I am excited about and there's another one I want to mention that I may not have mentioned before.
First of all, I had been listening to WrestlingInc post-RAW podcast which features Vince Russo with the WrestlingInc guys every week. I had always heard all the BS about Russo and I had my opinion about him but I have to say out of all the review/analysis guys out there, he is the one who I align with the most. Plus he is very entertaining to listen to. Anyway, he always had his own website called "The Brand" where he does video podcasting every day, but now, The Brand is on PodcastOne and it's free and it's fucking solo Vince Russo every day. Well, not solo, he has guests and co-hosts on some of the shows, it's a different show each day with a different title and theme. He's got HBK on his Thursday show "The Swerve" which is his interview show talking about Wrestlemania and stuff. His RAW review show, he critiques Raw and then he goes back and talks about an Attitude Era Raw for the second half of the show and tells behind the scenes stuff and whatever else, so it's very interesting. So I have to recommend checking this out, put your ideas about Russo aside and just listen to it.
SECOND is the Taz Show. Taz has an awesome show that is actually a daily morning show, in the style of a typical morning radio show. It's video live from 7-9AM mon-fri, or the podcast version is available a few hours later. It's a great show, Taz has some good insight and the show is really funny most of the time. He takes callers and has a ton going on every day on top of reviewing and analyzing the weekly wrestling shows so it's a very quick 2 hours.
There are other ones that I will check out when there is a good guest-- Steve Austin, Jericho, Jim Ross, Colt Cabana, but those are just typical podcasts where it's a conversation with a guest. They range from really good to boring. But the Russo and Taz daily stuff is really the best thing going IMO. If you drive a lot, these are awesome time killers.
